Trouble with Multi Monitors for my HP Spectre 13-v151nr - They Automatically change position
I have an HP Spectre 13-v151nr. The dual monitors keep resetting their order automatically. IE: The configuration that works starting from left to right is 1-3-2 (and I click apply) but without touching anything and at random times it automatically resets itself to 1-2-3. I am using two Display link DVO to USB adapters, then plugging into the USB "C" connections on the back of my laptop. I connect to my Planar PLL2210W monitors. I have reinstalled the display drivers and it has not helped. I have to keep resetting the order 1-3-2, then click to apply, but it randomly resets itself to 1-2-3.

HP Elitebook X360 1030 doesn´t work in tablet mode
When I turn the screen 360 o the tablet mode doesn´t turn on automatically and the keyboard doesn´t turn off.
How can this be fixed? As it is now, it´s useless.

Cracked screen spectre 360
Adding myself to the many people here who have a shattered screen from doing absolutely nothing to the laptop. This is my business computer and has never moved off my desk but all of a sudden this morning i walk up to it, open it and see that there are cracks everywhere. Even when i slowly close the lid more cracks are appearing!! please help!! I see that this is a common issue and if i'd have seen this thread beforehand I would have not spent my hard earned money on this poorly made computer!

I have the same exact problem! I cant play minecraft because of this, and i DO know HOW to turn off smartsense, but it doesnt work! its set to completely off, but I still cant move my mouse while typing :/ I just dont get it, I can go into my settings now and it will still be set to OFF but it clearly isnt off! have you found any solution yet? On my old computer (toshiba satellite) I was able to turn it off and it work fine, but this new hp notebook it just doesnt work.

HP Spectre x360 15-bl000 Touch Screen Acting Like It Is Being Pressed Repeatly In The Same Spot
I just received my HP Spectre x360 15-bl000 and out of the box the touch screen is acting like it is being rapidly pressed on the very top and right of center, always in the same spot! This makes it impossible to do anything on the computer because the mouse pointer keeps going to this spot and program windows keep closing immediately after opening beause of this. Telephone support was of no help and suggested it was a hardware issue. I have been a DELL and Lenovo user for years and this is my first HP computer. This is not a good first impression.

Repair issue: Ghost touches on Spectra x360 Bang & Olufsen Laptop
Purchased in December, and patiently waiting for update or offer to replace the defective screen, or touch pad driver that is consistently causing Ghost Touches above the "Ask me anything" box, taking over control in a studdering stammer way, usually occuring after one hour or more of use. The only remedy is to shut down and reboot....which can occur at the worst possible times.
I need to take back to the Microsoft Store for a replacement if this cannot be fixed. There has been a ton of complaints regarding this issue, with weak response from Support. I am just glad I purchased the 2 year warranty.
To recreate --plug in recharge chord, turn on and start working. Leave the screen on and walk away for lunch, when you come back view the screen, see a fuzzy finger print about 1 inch above the Ask Me box....No error message, just not able to regain control of the mouse except to shut down using screen touch. This has occurred during initial set up and continues for six months, but is hard to replicate at the MS store.I am normally using LAN.

HP ELitebook 840 G3 display port not recognizing HP ZR2740w
Hi,
I have an issue with the display port of a HP Elitebook G3 with Product ID L3C64AV
It does not recognize in anyway with a HP ZR2740w 27 inch screen. I have upgraded video drivers on laptop. Tried to find drivers for the display for Windows 10 Enterprise ( 64 bit ) with no results.
The screen is ok since it works with an old laptop model HP Elitebook Folio 9470m and display port and Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit
Note that the screen only has a HDMI connection and display cable.
The only result I was able to get is a quick image of the screen for 2 seconds. When checking screensettings in Windows 10, it does not get recognized at all.
Any other solutions to this that can be helpful?

Black display screen randomly
For the past few weeks my laptop display has randomly gone black while I'm doing things on my computer. No matter what I try to do through touching the track pad will do anything to change the black screen. I took it to Geek Squad for them to only tell me they couldn't do anything so they were of no help. If anyone could help me out that would be extremely appreciated.

Issue connecting four 4k monitors to Zbook 15 G3 - M2000M
I am having issues connecting 4 external monitors to a Zbook 15 G3. The Zbook has a 3840 x 2160 monitor and is connected to a Thunderbolt 3 dock. The external monitors I am trying to connect are all 4k 3840 x 2160 monitors and have 2 HDMI ports and 1 DigitalDisplay port. The laptop has 1 HDMI port, 1 USB-C port and 1 DigitalDisplay Port. The thunderbolt dock has 2 DigitalDisplay ports, and a USB-C port. I can get three monitors to work in addition to the laptop monitor but no matter what I try, I can't get the fourth monitor to work. I have even tried DigitalDisplay adapters with 2 and 3 hubs and even a USB-C hub with two DigitalDisplay ports.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EliteBook 755 G3 Freezes when using an external monitor
This is a new EliteBook 755 G3 purchased about 4 months ago and used 8 hours a day in a business. When an external monitor is plugged in, the laptop will freeze at random times. Sometimes it will go a whole day without freezing, other times, it might freeze 5 or 6 times in a day. The screen just freezes with no error messages or any kind of warning. Mouse and other inputs are unresponsive. I hold the power button down for 5 seconds to power it off, then power it back on. On a couple of occasions I got a BSOD instead of a freeze, but the blue screen does not show a reason for the failure.
I have tried 2 different monitors (different brands and screen resolutions). I have also tried external connection via the display port (using an HDMI adapter) and via the 15-pin VGA port, but the results are the same. I have the laptop mounted in a 2013 Ultraslim Docking Station. I have also tried taking it out of the dock and connecting the monitors directly to the laptop, but the freezes still occur. I have also noticed that the problem occurs whether or not the external monitor is powered on.
The laptop works flawlessly for long periods of time (a couple of months) when no external monitor is attached.
OS is Win 7 Pro 64-bit with all the latest updates installed.
The BIOS is updated to the latest available.
8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD.
External monitor is configured to Extend the display.
Display adapter drivers are updated to the latest, but the problem happened on the previous version, as well.
Has anyone seen this behavior or have any solutions to try?

HP x2 Touch Screen black rectangle in the middle of the screen
Hi,
The laptop hasn't been dropped or anything. This rectangular just shown up in the middle of the screen as it noticeable. The touch screen works fine, but when I'm using it on low brightness, it's quite annoying. Is there any solution to solve this? I would really appreciate any kind of help.

On screen touch controls sometimes don't appear in tablet mode while playing Roblox
My HP Pavilion 360 does not switch to tablet in some Roblox games, well to be clear it does pop up the switch to Tablet dialog and touch works but you don't get the touch on-screen controls for moving etc. so it's like somehow the game does not now know that it's a tablet This is inconsistent as the tablet works in some Roblox games and not others. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you fix it? e.g The onscreen controls show and work in Roblox game "Stop it slender 2" but not in Roblox game "prison life"

Laptop fixed, now all the fonts have changed (style/size)
Yesterday my laptop got a thorough cleaning/scan after having major connectivity issues. Now, the Fonts have changed across my entire computer, e.g. Outlook, emails (standard fonts on daily newsletters, etc.) and Internet (using Google Chrome). How can I adjust this back to what it was before the fix? Thanks!

Mouse pointer disappears when touching screen
Hi all:
I hope that this is the right board for this problem, even though it may not be primarily a "Touch" issue. My problem is that I keep losing my pointer/cursor on my HP laptop. Here are my specs and details of the problem based on a set of questions that I found on another thread:
What make / model computer? HP Pavilion 15-n216us
What operating system? Windows 10 64bit upgraded from Win 8.
Does the mouse left alone disappear or are you clicking on something and then it just disappears? It only (and always) happens when I touch the screen. The cursor disappears instantaneously when I touch the screen. It happens whether I have a USB mouse plugged in or not.
How do you normally resolve the issue? Except for restarting the laptop, the only way that I can get the cursor back is to go to Personalize/Themes/Mouse Pointer settings. I then have to close the Mouse Pointer settings windows (clicking OK) while shaking the mouse.
How is your mouse connected to your computer? Wireless but as stated above, it also happens when the mouse is not plugged in.
One screen or two screens? If one, have you ever used two? One screen, never two.
More information:
1) The cursor is not set to disappear when typing.
2) I read that this could be a problem with the Touchpad, so I downloaded the Synaptics Pointing Device driver for my laptop from the HP website. When I attempted to install it, I got a message that I already have a newer driver than the one I downloaded.
3) I have searched online for a solution to my problem for weeks but mainly find information about people totally losing their cursor when upgrading to Win 10.
4) I did have to reset this laptop once but the problem started months after the reset.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this problem and how to solve it?

GPU Issue 15-au119nl
Hello everyone,
i have this issue with my brand new 15-au119nl, in particular with the GPU (nVidia 940MX).
I work a lot with graphic softwares, but i can't get the dedicated GPU to work with Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and Autocad.
I tried to force the thing manually (right click - run with nVidia etc.), via nVidia control panel associating the .exe to the GPU, i did check and update the BIOS (but nothing regarding Display is in there), without any success.
The only way to get the nVidia GPU to work with those softwares is to disable via device management the Intel integrated one, but i think that's not the best way to work the problem around.
Is there anyone who encountered the same problem and hopefully can help me solve this?
