Please Help! My Touchscreen on HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j001tx doesnt work.
It worked sometimes when I turned on my laptop for a certain period of time, but when I turn it off again for a few hours and turn back on it didnt work anymore.
I tried looking at device manager > Human Interface devices.
Sometimes the touchscreen option will be there when it works, but when it doesnt it dissapears.
Please anyone help me with this problem, Thank you very much.

El problema es que se me rompió la pantalla de la notebook y no conseguí en Argentina un local de HP que me cobre algo razonable por el trabajo.

Some how i turned off my touch screen function on my laptop. How do I turn it on again?
My lapttop screen recently started showing red where the black colors used to be, which is creating a pyschadelic effect. This problem does not occur when I connect to an external monitor, only the laptop screen.

I need to find a solution for my HP wide vision HD camera. The problem is that my current job position requires a video camera with a narrower recording angle and it seems that I cannot enter camera options regarding zooming. Is there any solution for narrowing it down or should I buy a separate USB camera? The platform that I'm using for my job is runned from a website that uses adobe flash.

I bought a HP SPECTRE x360 (2016 model) with product number T6T11UA#ABA about a week ago and was extremely disappointed with its battery life. The diagnostic tool that HP provides with its Support Assistant showed that there was nothing wrong with my battery. I tried contacting the live chat and they told me to recharge it to 100% and depleting it and recharging it again. I did so but the laptop only gave me 6 hours and 37 mins of extremely light usage (occasional browsing and just leaving it on ) with battery saver mode turned on and the laptop with consistently less than a brightness of 50/100. I even tried configuring the intel settings for reduced graphics performance. After exhausting all the options I was only left with a range of 5-6 hours instead of the 12 hours that HP claimed.
This is extremely disappointing because the main reason I bought this laptop was due to HP's fraudulent claims of a good battery life. Come on HP, I understand that most companies do make claims that might overestimate their product's performance. However, don't you think that claiming your battery last 12 hours when in reality only lasts ( being generous here ) a lil over half of that a bit too much? You know, Dell is pretty accurate with its battery performance claims about the XPS.... You're better than this, HP.

I have a Compaq Presario Notebook CQ56-202SO about 5 yrs old. When Windows 10 came out I upgraded to that (from Windows 7) and everything has been working ok until lately.
I now have some issues with the computer freezing up totally and/or getting a black screen after which I have to shut down and reboot (and then the same thing happens again).
I got some advice in a Microsoft support forum to update my drivers. I am kind of a rookie when it comes to things like that but someone in the forum directed me to HP and where to get the drivers.
However, I don´t see any drivers for my computer now that it is running Windows 10 (it only offers for Windows 7).
How do I go about this?
And by the way, does my description of the problems I am having with my computer sound like driver problems to you guys?
I´d really appreciate any help in this matter!

Week ago an issue sort of crippled my notebook. All of a sudden whilst in Chrome browser, V SCR Bar would go to bottom of the page on its own. No updates etc was noted. Checked and did h/w trubleshooting etc. did not find the cause. Note this happens to any application, be it MS Word, or anyy Browsers.
Checked for stuck button, didnt find any so used a program to testkb. found out that pg dn button was simulatously being pressed on its own when doing kb test. checked and cleaned button but no luck. issue still happens. Laptop is nearly 1 yr 3 months old, and first HP laptop that I got. Hoping to fix . HELP.
My laptop was able to display 1920x1080 in the operating system it came with, Windows 8. But ever since I downgraded to windows 7, my laptop's maximum screen resolution can only display 1600x900 max resolution.
I've tried looking everywhere on Google for a solution but nothing seems to work. What should I do?

I just bought and recieved my HP Spectre x360 (late 2016) today.
But the problem is, at the top of the right corner, it have a very little black shadow.
If you looks very carefully you'll see it.
I dont know if it have something to do with my screen problem, or just my false thought imagination?
Again based on the pictures below, you'll see at the top right (from google chrome minimise/restore down/close bar you'll see a very light dark shadow).
Is it normal? Did anybody have similar looks? Or just me.
But, when I increase the brigness to 100% those dark shadow are totally gone.

I bought hp pavilion 620 tx on 13 th of this month i encounter led problem
since its just been 15 days can i get a replacement with new one
I have an HP Spectre 13-v151nr. The dual monitors keep resetting their order automatically. IE: The configuration that works starting from left to right is 1-3-2 (and I click apply) but without touching anything and at random times it automatically resets itself to 1-2-3. I am using two Display link DVO to USB adapters, then plugging into the USB "C" connections on the back of my laptop. I connect to my Planar PLL2210W monitors. I have reinstalled the display drivers and it has not helped. I have to keep resetting the order 1-3-2, then click to apply, but it randomly resets itself to 1-2-3.
My hp x360 spectre just got a replacement screen panel which works fine but the software isn't responding to tablet mode (keyboard keeps working) and the rotation lock option is greyed out and unclickable
"system" process spikes up to 25% cpu usage and when that happens the PC freezes. Already switched from an actual disk to a 500G SSD problem came back after a couple weeks, please help this is realllllyyyyyy annoying
My computer will play videos just fine, but for most of the vieos its super zoomed up and I cant figure out how to unzoom it.
