intel hd graphic 5500 card can't initialize open GL
i have a laptop hp envy x360 15 touch , i get a problem with my graphic card : "intel graphic HD 5500" that can't initialize OpenGL . this problem appear when i use Adobe After Effect cc 2015 . please help me urgently. and if any external hardware can use to fix this problem or not. if software fixer doesn't exist

Touchsmart not working!
My touch screen stopped functioning! i tried to go to pen and touch but gives me an error, and the human interface device panel doesnt show any touch driver as well as tablet settings everythings greyed out, is there any way i can get a hold of the drivers i cant seem to find them anywhere and id really like to get these features back thank you

HP3005pr & Nvidia 930MX
Hello. After Windows Anniversary update I have a big problem.
I use HP 3005pr port replicator and a notebook hp 470 G4, with nvidia 930MX.
When I use notebook alone, without port replicator, everything works fine, but as I connect notebook with the port replicator, my nvidia doesn't work anymore. I can't open nvidia control panel, and there're problems with graphics in some softwares.
I tried with latest drivers from displaylink, nvidia, and also with drivers on hp page. Problem is still here.
Do you have any suggestions?

Can't play 1080p HD video
Hello everyone,
I can't play 1080p HD video smoothly,it usually freezes and it becomes impossible to watch the video.I use vlc player but it still doesn't work. I open my task manager while I'm watching and it's sitting at 100%. Any help will be appreciated.

Area on Screen self activates without Touch
Without touching the touch screen, an area on the left of the screen, either top or bottom area, would self activate as though being frewuently touched and cause the loss of control of the mouse, followed by the inconsistent jumping of areas of the screen such as windows.
I called HP and a tech took control but the problem persist. I took the computer back to Best Buy but the problem persist after they said they could not duplicate the event. I have video footage of the issues. Apart from calling HP again, is anyone else experiencing this? I love the computer and have had it for six months. I took it back to HP about a month later but the problem persists. One tech mentioned that it may be the digitizer.
This is my dream computer and I would like it to work better that the Lenovo which my niece has.

Touchscreen not working
My touchscreen does not work consistently.
I removed Windows 10 and restored 8.1. I performed a factory reset. I have tried everything suggested on various forums and after what looked like potentially helpful responses on this forum, none of them worked.
I have now discovered that if I run Command Prompt as an Administrator and enter sfc /scannow, part way through touchscreen starts working.
However, it does say that not all processes could be rectified.
Touchscreen then works for a while, and when it next stops, running sfc /scannow again does the trick.
Is this a Registry fault?
Can I fix Registry problems without loading unwanted costly software?
Any ideas?
My process of Command Prompt (as Administrator) then sfc /scannow doesn't take long, but is a bit of a nuisance!

Screen Repair
I need to replace a cracked touchscreen. Service Manual shows the part number (732080-001) for a raw LCD dispaly - but this is the version that mounts behind a Bezel
My laptop is apparently the "older style" that has digitizer glass from edge to edge without a bezel.
The glass and LCD appear to be one module and it appears that it will snap out of the lid.
Can anyone tell me the part number for the display assembly for the "old" style ??
HP Part Surfer shows a whole new Lid assembly - 783120-001 - is that the only option ??

When I click on my mail, it shows error of unable to show a picture. It is a little square box with a red "x" in it. How do I remove this error?

F6 LED light stopped working
F6 (sound on/off key) LED light stopped working. It was supposed to light up with orange colour when turning off the sound, but it doesn't anymore. CAPSLOCK LED isn't working as well.
However, F12 (Plane mode) light indicator works.

Screen goes black
My HP envy lap top is only 15 months old. Ever since I got it, the screen will randomly go black in the middle of me working. It was only every once in a while initially but has gotten to the point now where in the middle of me typing at work, it will go black numerous times in a one hour period. The computer is still on when the screen goes black. The only way for the screen to come back on is if I hit the power button and it restarts the computer. I have windows 10 and this was not associated with any specific upgrade. I ignored the problem so long that I'm now out past the warrenty by a couple of months. Any thoughts?

variet colors or blank screen appears suddenly then the laptop shutdowns

after a while of playing games,the screen suddenly goes black or varient colors then laptop shuts down
i have an intel HD 3000 graphic card,and the games i tried not that high graphic,its normal and i played at average graphic setting
i have the latest graphic driver,and someone told me to install the chipset drivers,did too and no things changed
and for the heat,i didnt feel the heat to make the laptop shutdown automatically even the laptop body is aluminum,although the fan get louder
even got a friend with hell hot laptop and it dont shutdown suddenly with blank screen or varient colors

Help turning on backlit keyboard
Hello!
Just purchased this refurbished notebook.
Does this have a backlit keyboard? I've tried the f5 key, which does not light up the keyboard. The f12 key does not light up the keyboard.
I've also tried the function button and hitting the space bar. Does not light up the keyboard.
I do not see a "keyboard" key, as shown on the HP site.
Can anyone help me? I'd imagine that this computer does have a backlit keyboard!

Screen goes black when i plug in charging cord

AMD Video Driver Error
My AMD video driver stopped working because of which the Laptop had stopped booting. I had reinstalled the Windows but still the same problem persists.
I had checked in the Device Manager as well and it says something like this : "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (code 43)".
Please help me to solve the issue because I am unable to play any High Definition Videos.

problem with screen display
I bought ENVY laptop and I have found a problem when I try to run most of the applications.
The application window appears very small you cant read the text there. I tried to change the screen resolution several times based on some forum recommendations. But, the problem sitll avialable. Do you have any solution for this problem, I'm really disappointed that such a problem appears in my new laptop. This is my first experience with the HP!!!
