HI, new HP Pavillion X360 11.6" great little computer but I noticed a Bright white spot right in the middle of the screen, I see it on a light background and it shows on a dark background if you look hard enough, I have had the notebook for 2 weeks and noticed it 2 days ago. What can I do?

Monitor Connection Problems
Hi, this is subject that I'm sure has been covered off but I havent found a resolution that works so here goes!
I've purchased an LG 34UC98 21:9 monitor (3440x1440) however the image/text looks pixelated to me (not a sharp as I was expecting?) I appricate that this is a fairly large monitor and I'm sat at a standard desktop distance from it but I've spoken to others with the same model monitor that claim to have very smooth (not retina smooth) text etc.
Having looked at the spec's of the laptop, I'm guessing Im right in assuming that the HDMI port isnt capable of outputting the required resolution pixel for pixel so I've invested in a USB-C to DisplayPort dongle from HP direct.
However, when I plug this in, I get a messge saying 'Try improving the USB connection - DisplayPort connection might not work. Try using a differnet cable.'
This message appears if I have a DP cable plugged in or not!?
Any comments/suggestions gratefully received.

External monitor (mini display port to full size DP) does not wake up after laptop sleeps.
Hi there,
I have a spectre x360 which I am using with 2 monitors:
1 x 24in monitor plugged via HDMI - HDMI lead
1 x 27in monitor pluged via mini DP - full size DP lead
I have the laptop screen and the 2 monitor screens on at the same time - so effectivily im using a total of 3 screens.
Everything works fine until the laptop goes to sleep.
When I wake up the laptop, the laptop screen and the monitor plugged in via HDMI turn on. The monitor plugged in via display port doesnt wake up.
The only fix is to unplug the mini displayport cable and plug it back in to the laptop - this wakes up the monitor.
The issue with unplugging and plugging the cable back in is all the windows that I had opened get moved about and its very frustrating.
Please advise how I can get the laptop to wake up both monitors.

I disabled my touchpad on my HP Stream
I have tried over and over to mess around with the settings but have found nothing. I have tried to double tap in the left hand corner of the touchpad but nothing as well because there is no light or area where you could tap on the touchpad. Right now I am using a USB mouse. I need this fixed as soon as possible.

HDMI port not detected
Hi,
I suffered a total hard disk failure and have changed the hard disk. So I don't have the recovery options hosted in the original disk.
I have made an installation from a standard Windows 7 disk, using the Windows 7 license in the label under the netbook.
After downloading all the drivers from the HP support page, I haven't been able to use the HDMI port, what I need to see the image in the LCD 42" LG TV.
When I press the Fn+F4 combination, nothing happens. I don't find any option to use HDMI as a second monitor.
I don't have any error in the component list at control panel, but I only see a graphic card (I have read about having to see two: AMD and Intel at the same time).
Any help?

Hinge Scratched (HP Spectre 13t)
I looked on the forums and someone had the SAME problem as me. I'm not sure if it has been resolved but here is the link:
Same thing happened to me. I had it for a month and was very happy with it. Then, when I was closing it today, there was a low, creaking sound. I opened it back up to see that the right hinge has been scratched. I looked inside and saw something poking out, like a piece of metal or something, that wasn't there before.
I really want to get the whole laptop replaced because I took really good care of it and can't stand scratches or marks. However, my warranty ran not long ago so I'm not sure if HP will still fix this for me.

no sound from external monitor
I have connected my HP ENVY TOUCHSMART15 NOTEBOOK to an external HP monitor with speakers using HDMI cable. I shut the lid of the laptop. The picture is fine on the external monitor, but I get no audio signal from the monitor speakers. The laptop software sound software recognized the HPMONITOR (HP w220 7h) and I name it and configure it as the default, but no sound from external speakers. The sound drivrrs area ll up to date. ny suggetuions?

6570b Graphic Card install
Hello dear readers,
i am the proud owner of an HP 6570b. This Model has an dedicated graphic card, Radeon HD 7570m i think. But i cannot turn it on and use it.
i reinstalled Windows 10 and now it is only possible to use the internal Intel HD4000.
If i use the detection utility from Radeon it does not find the graphic card. It only shows me the Intel one.
If i install the driver from the HP Website an error occurs while installation. The error says the install manager cannot be installed.
If i install the driver from the AMD Website the same error occurs.
When i look in the Windows device Manager there are two devices wich are not recocgniced by the system
1) Code 28
Is there something i have to install also? Why is WIndows not finding the driver by itself as usual? Would it be an solution using windows 8?

I have just bought a " HP Pavilion 15-au100 Notebook PC " without OP.
I want to install Windows 7 64-bit on it .
I cannot install Win 7 till I install a " Windows 7* USB 3.0 Creator Utility " from here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility
After installing USB 3 , I succeeded to install Windowos 7 on my machine .
Now I want drivers for my windows 7 64-bit but I did not find any for windows 7 , only windows 10 :

I tried to install drivers from my HP support and intel support but, all give me error " Not compatible "

How do I adjust my laptop's contrast?
I've tried everything and looking online everywhere. I need my contrast adjusted and there are no options to do so. All "answers" I have received are to adjust brightness... I need to adjust my contrast on my hp pavilion notebook laptop!!

laptop-LG digital TV connection via hdmi
trying to connect my laptop to my LG digital TV but it does not show any response. My tv shows no signal and on display settings from my laptop, none of the options are highlighted hence cant be chosen. It shows for the second screen 'Display not connected'.
With a friend's hp laptop, it connects instantly with the same HDMI cable. Had the latest windows 10 installed in my laptop and had to downgrade to an earlier build thinking it may solve the issue but no. Please help.

AMD RADEON R5 M430 GRAPHICS DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 7 64 BIT
Hi
I couldn't find the graphics driver (AMD radeon R5 M430) for AY006TX (windows 7 64 bit) from hp site. I tried installing the driver from AMD site. It shows AMD M330( as description) in device manager with an error msg and the driver was not successfully installed. I also tried the intel-amd switchable graphics driver for windows 10 (sp75504). It detected the device as m430 but shows code 43 error. I have tried installing multiple times and the results are same. Kindly help me to install the appropriate driver.

video and wireless drivers for window 7 for HP Notebook - 15-af113cl (ENERGY STAR)
i have downloaded the appropriate drivers for my conversion of this machine from windows 10 to win 7, but for some reasons that i cannot diagnose,
1. the wireless driver install it seems correctly, but it does not appear in the device manage and/or want to appear in the list of available networks
2. it took a while, but i finally noticed that the AMD video driver was not installed even though it seeemed to go through the install without a hitch. i only noticed when i tried to install google earth, and discoverd that i could not get direct x 9c, and work in true color mode . . . i tried to run the AMD catalyst setup, but no luck there.
any ideas on what is going on?

Hp pavilion g6 2305sq hd 7670m GPU trouble.
Hello hp forums, i have some big trouble with my notebook.
The hd7670m graphics card inside this laptop has its gpu clock and memory locked to 400mhz, also ocassionaly the i7cpu locks its frequency in low power mode at 1.2ghz and i have to restart it for it to work again 2.2ghz-to 3.2 turbo.
, i used the F27.A from september 2016 and the flash was successfull but around that time the problems started to occur, i didnt notice imediately so im not sure this is the cause.
What i have tried already:
-Installed multiple versions of windows 7,8.1, 10
-Installed multiple versions of video drivers for intel gpu and AMD gpu from old ones version 14 to newest 15.7 and crimson 16.2 nothing works.
-I tried installing Linux and the CPU didnt lock anymore somehow but i cant see the gpu clocks in linux and when i tested with 3D applications it used the intel iGPU hd 4000 so im not sure if AMD gpu worked under linux, either way i run windows 10 most of the time and it doesnt work.
- I tried various power profiles and tweaks + other registry tweaks and ULPS disable nothing worked.
What i need is to know from HP support if you can help me with a copy of the original BIOS version that hp g6 2305sq comes preinstalled so i can flash it again to original version maybe it will fix it.

Random Flickering Video
I was wondering why my screen at times would occasionally flicker for no reason, I have the latest driver from HP's website:
BIOS: F.09
Intel HD 520: 20.19.15.4454
Yet my screen would occasionally flicker.
Edit 3:
Installed 20.19.15.4380, the original driver that comes with the HP package, will report on the flickering soon.

Installed 20.19.15.4390 but flickering still occurs.

I've noticed that it triggers when I start flash videos, but I still suspect its a deffinate video driver issue more than flash causing it, nevertheless, it still randomly triggers even when not watching any flash videos, I also noticed that it also causes my audio to stutter due to its instability.
