Hi, I setupped a windows 7 again, for delete all bad applications. Then I setupped all drivers back again, from hp site. But I am getting low fps on games, even on call of duty 4 (because I should play it with high resolution, however I can't play it even low resolution). My system requirements are okey for call of duty 4, and I have all drivers-softwares. I can't play video with 60 or 30 fps to,it is so boring. Can somebody help me about that? I am out of my country,so I can't send my notebook to any hp services.

Hello, my new docking station only has one VGA port....what is the best way to connect a 2nd monitor to the docking station?
Hello all,
A few days ago I received a brand new HP Envy that I purchased directly from HP.
I have discovered that it has what appears to be one dead pixel in the monitor.
I say "what appears to be" because upon very close inspection it looks like maybe an adjacent pixel is not as bright as it should be. Or perhaps this is just a trick of the light, the "deadness" of the one dead pixel creeping over and influencing how the adjacent pixel is perceived?
If I had to bet my life on it I'd say it is just a single dead pixel... but the point is that it may be two.
Apparently this is important because if two pixels next to each other are defective, then my warranty would allow me to exchange the computer for a new one (correct?), whereas if it's just a single dead pixel then the warranty wouldn't cover it.
BUT is it also possible that I could return it anyway, since it's a brand new computer that arrived with the defect? I have looked online and in some places the internet pundits make it seem as if HP will allow returns for whatever reason as long as they are initiated within 21 days.
All of that being said, if anyone can tell me what my options are, I would very much appreciate it. I enjoy the computer very much so far, but this dead pixel(s) thing does bug me slightly.

I have an HP Pavilion x2 detachable running Windows 10 64bit. Until recently, I was able to connect a second monitor through the HDMI port and it was automatically recognized. Since a couple of weeks the second monitor cannot be recognized any more. I even tried to connect my TV set but nothing happened. There is no problem with the cable. Also all drivers seem to be up to date. Any ideas what could I do ?
Thanks in advance!

I can't use the touch screen of my notebook, I already tried to install the Touch Panel Controll Firmware but it fails to install.
This is what it looks like whenever i try to install the firmware.
Any solution about this?
my tablet and my OLD computer do more than this does. I have to type this message, no way to use voice, and I can't get screen to rotate automaticly. It did it when I first turned it on, now does not work unless I manually do it. Can't find ordinary user manuals, only ones for service man. I have spent countless hours trying to work this, and so far all I have been able to do is load one program, and use YouTube once. Your time and patience to these matters would be greatly appreciated. Electra Hogan
I must of inadvertenly hit a key by mistake, resulting in print font so small i can't read it.
I believe the remedy involves hitting the Dell logo key and another simultaneously???
I need to use the Hawaiian diacritical mark, the macron, but donʻt know how to find, download or install it
I recently received a new HP 15-BA079DX. It's running Windows 10 Home Premium x64. It's impressive in every way save one: The touch screen is not working. The product information says it has one and to reinstall the driver to fix it. Looking at the Drvice Manager I can not find a driver for the touch screen on the laptop. When I go to the Support Download site I can't find a driver that mentions the touch screen. So the questions are:
1) Does this system have a touch screen?
2) If yes, what driver do I need to download and from where?
3) If there is a Touch Screen and driver please update the Product support site to include the missing touch screen driver.
Thank you.

I can't find the HP Control Center utility for this laptop model, only for the 15 model. Does it not come for this? Are they the same?
Curious new user.
Hello,
Recently I have been experiencing errors regarding the display on my laptop moitor. I've tried all the usual things - updating graphics and display drivers, and restarting my laptop to no avail. The issue is there are blue and red dots/"thin" lines that appear on my screen - some consistently, others that depend on the page or when/where I move my mouse.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
I was not super sure as to where to post this so I put "Notebook Video, Display and Touch".
So I bought this new HP Spectre x360 about a week ago during the cyber sales in preparation for classes at University next semester as I was wanting something small, lightwieght, and with a long lasting battery that could get me though the shcool day. I love everything about this laptop except it seems to have a very short battery life. When I bought it, all the tech reviews and the official HP website claimed an 11 to 12 hour battery life, however I cannot seem to get more than around 4 or 5. Perhaps the battery is bad?
I do not know too much about computers so I had my brother help me choose the model. I have the i7 6500u, 16gbs of ram, and a 512gb SSD. My brother said with these specific components, the battery life could be effected a little bit but was under the impression that it would still be able to serve me at least 8 hours while at school. Should I contact HP support about the battery life problem?
Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I bought this laptop refered above without any software installed, only DOS. I installed Windows 7 ultimate and then I downloaded the drivers that needed for the devices through my previous PC and I burned them in a DVD. After of the "set-up" procedure no fault appeared at the devices in my new laptop.
But when I connected the HDMI wire in the socket nothing happened to my TV which is connected the other edge of the wire.
As well as, I mention that my previous laptop had no problem at this point and it was HP too. It is a Pavilion DV7-2140ev.
I suppose that something wrong is happening with the driver of the Graphic Adapter because at the device list is marked as "Typical VGA Graphic Adapter".
Can you help me , please?

All drivers are up to date.
Have installed latest BIOS.
I have followed the hp guided solution up to the point where I use the UEFI hardware diagnostics, but I did not find Touch Screen in the components to test.
