Hello, I have an HP Pavilion x360 - 13-s109nl (ENERGY STAR) and unfortunately the touchscreen has broken due to a fall. I have contacted the assistance and an employed has proposed me to sobstitute it. The cost is 300 €. I have spent 800 € to buy the pc and now you thank me in this way? It is very absurde! In my opinion an honest price is 50/60 €, considering the expedition and the touchscreen. It isn't correct that I have to pay the manpower too. I will never buy more HP products and I will advise against your company. If I spend my money I want to be sure to receive a good assistance.

Seeking for "Radeon HD 7670 BIOS Database for flashing.
I don't know how to start but actually, the fault is mine, I mess somehow with my MB trying to overclock my laptop fan by using these overclocking programs, I lost my VGA "Radeon HD 7670m", it vanished from my device manager, I tried all available ways to restore it, downloading the latest BIOS Driver and flashed my BIOS, unplugging the CMOS Battery and Pressed the power button for 15 secs as it's been written at BIOS reset tutorial, reinstalling a new windows without any ray of hope! . . . the first question, is it possible to flash my VGA BIOS? if it's possible, I don't have my BIOS Database to use the "Atiflash" tool because I already lost my graphics card and I can not take a backup, the second question is " could you - please - help me to get this done and give me the Card BIOS Database if it's possible?

HID Touchscreen driver
My touchscreen recently stopped working. I first tried rebooting the computer which didn't work. I looked under the device manager but the HID compliant touchscreen wasn't there. I did a search for hidden devices, and it showed up. I tried to update the software but it said the driver was not found. I then uninstalled it and rebooted my computer to see if it would automatically reinstall it but it didn't. Please help!

Video/Resolution question (apps are tiny looking)
I have the HP ENVY x360 - 13-y013cl convertable laptop. I'm using the standard resolution of 3200x1800.
Most of my applications work normal. Display fine. However, some applications either show their starting splash screen as super tiny or the entire appliation is super tiny.

The image of Outlook opening. That splash screen should be almost double the size.
The image #2 is a remote access app I use. See how the username/password boxes are very tiny in comparision to the application itself. Normally, those boxes would be almost doubl or triple the size of what you see in that image.
Tiny. I guess it's difficult to explain. It's small and just doesn't look normal.
Any ides on correcting this? I've played around with diferent resolutions, but that changes everything around and the apps are still tiny. And anything less than 3200x1800 and I'm not getting to use 100% of my LCD screen.

Youcam 5 did work but wont allow HP cam/mics to connect; Youcam 1+ runs cam but won't record
Upon re-boot (no other apps using built-in HD cam) now Youcam 5 does not record; will not save cam setting & display sits blank. It did work when it was intsalled (HP Support center advised a free upgrade to this version) about a year ago. After a few days, I thought I'd test the original Youcam1+ app & it seemed to work, video camera was on & picture displayed but upon recording I get error 0x80004005 (related to memory?) . I've 350GBs of memory left free so I cannot see this explanation an issue.
(I installed latest patch for Youcam 5). The warning on Youcam 5 is either make sure HD cam is connected or make sure another application is not using the camera. None are. I updated the Bios just now, as per recommendation along with Windows updates but no change.
When in Youcam 5 I select built HD cam / mics, but next time I open settings it is set to blank. (Original Youcam 1+ has camera selected with OK display, generaloperation yet also simply will not record/take snapshot.)
In Device Man. the cam is fine & enabled. No warnings not issues. Drivers are up-to-date. Knowledge base is a bit frustrating details wise but I spent time there trying to make sure I did all I could.

replace touch screen with standard lcd envy k204na
the lcd backlight on my envy k204na appears to have failed......4 months out of warrenty!
im not confident seperating the digitiser from the lcd panel and the cost of the complete unit is ridiculous, can i use a standard lcd screen, a third of the cost, to replace the existing screen? if so what is the part number i need.
any advice greatly appreciated
footnote: dont buy a touch unless you are absolutley sure you are going to use it.......or your loaded and can afford repairs/replacement!

HP Spectre x360 touchpad sporadically jumps to top left of screen and phantom clicks
I recently purchased the HP Spectre x360 with the i7 processor and the computer works great except when the touchpad randomly jumps to the top left of my screen and phantom clicks. I can not seem to fix the issue as I have the latest drivers installed. It makes typing very inconvenient and difficult as I have to keep re-placing the mouse where i was typing so it doesn't click somewhere else.

dedicated video memory issues
I got my PC with the factory installed OS (windows 8) and i had a dedicated video memory of 1268MB of 4000MB and i enjoyed flawless gaming on the PC...recently i upgraded to windows 10 and my dedicated video memory reduced to 32MB of 1792MB and some of my games seem to lag...i need help on how i can fix issue... the video card present as at the time i had windows 8 installed was the Radeon Graphics now its Intel ...
i would be very happy if there's a fix for this

Problem with HP Probook 450 G0 Web Cam Driver

the screen on my son's HP Pavilion laptop doesn't come on when he turns on the computer.
When my son turned on his laptop, the screen didn't come on. It is blank. There is audio, but nothing else. I hooked it up to a monitor and it works fine. He uses this for school work at home. It is still under warenty until December 6th 2016. I would like to get this resolved quickly. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

HD Web Cam is freezing and dont work on Skype
Hi, the web cam is freezing all the time, even if I don't make a calls.
Now it does not work on Skype at all. I use the laptop for 2 weeks, at the beginning it as fine, but now I got some updates.
I hope it can be fixed somehow.

Spectre x360 convertible stylus intermittent
Guys hav had this computer for over 1 yr. previous to spectre I had used he elite convertible with the passive stylus without any issues (4 years). With the spectre the HP stylus goes from working to not working. Have to constantly shake it, unscrew the cap and then re tghten. My other tricks are to close it of one mate and then reopen or completely restart the computer.
Been over a year year and I butt he computer because the the stylus capability. It seems to me there is some stating that puts the stylus or the tablet n sleep mode.
Note issue occurs not only in one note but also when on desk top point at icons. Yes I am using the HP approved stylus. Also have the Dell stylus from last year that experiences the same issue.
What at is the fix to this problem. Love the computer but will hav to migrate to either apple or Microsoft if n fix.

want to use monitor with mac mini with HDMI connect.
Brand new mac mini. Want to use HDMI, but when I connect cable, boot up mac and turn on Monitor, the mac starts to go into new product mode, then quickly picture switches to 2 alternating graphic pictures of what looks to be 2 different computers. I gather this means monitor is looking for a suitable source??
By way of a test of the monitor, I hooked it up to a Macbook Pro using DVI and it worked fine. Just no luck with the HDMI.

Base System Device
I'm having a lot of issues with my HP Pavilion dv7 -2173d. The video goes black after only about five minutes despite the settings being set for 2 hours. We might have that fixed, but now I have "Base System Device" showing up in Device Manager as not being the right driver for this system. Also my DVD drive either won't show up at all or plays my DVD at hyper speed so it sounds like everyone is on helium. Any help would be appreciated.
