I recently purchased an HP Envy x360, assuming that they're would be an endless variety of styluses that I could use for drawing & illustration.

So far, most sources indicate that there are no active, bluetooth, or otherwise pressure sensitive styluses that work with the Envy x360.

Does anyone have a solution? Is there one?

SINCE I HAVE UPGRADED TO WIN 10 I CANNOT BURN DVDS' FROM MY BURN PROGRAM...HOW DO I REINSTALL DVD DRIVE SO IT WILL RECORD....FYI I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY LG EXTERNAL DRIVE...GET ERROR TO INSERT A BLANK OR RE-WRITABLE DISC....

Brand New ProoBook 650 G2 on the UltraSlim Docking Station(All hardware less than a week old).

16GB RAM

i7 6600U

m.2 SSD

Two HP Z22n External Monitors Connected via Display Port.

Windows 10 Enterprise. 

 

Checked all connections and made sure they were tight.

All drivers are up to date, bios is up to date.

Windows Updates are controlled by System Center; manual check says I am up to date.

I went through and turned off all power saving features, and went through every device in 'Device Manager' and unchecked 'alow computer to turn of this device'.

Bios I turned off all 'sleep', 'deep sleep' and power save related options.

Increased 'dedicated' RAM for intel 520 GPU to the max of 512GB

I turned on logging in the HP Display Assistant 'Diagnostic' app; so far nothing to report.

No errors in event viewer.

 

There does not apear to be any one thing that trigers the display to blank out.

Time does not seem to be a factor, can occur once ever minute or I could go an hour berfore it happens.

I do not receive a 'no input' message and the power LED stays lit.

It does not appear to be any single monitor, they both will show black screen, one at a time; I dont think I have seen both at the same time.

This occurs if I am using the two displays and laptop lid closed, or expanding the desktop across all 3 screens.

 

Aditionally if I am viewing a dark menu or even the defualt windows 10 wallpaper; Randomn single pixels switch to white very quickly( On the External Monitors).  This is easiest to reproduce using the HP Display assitant  display sync setting and selecting a black overlay.

 

Has anyone seen this before?  I imagine the platform being as new as it is, will need a bios update to fix it.

I have Steam and right now when I'm playing games I'll get an error that says "Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered" and it crashes the game.

 

Then the screen will go blue and it'll either say;

 

"THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER" or "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION"

 

I did a complete factory restore of my laptop, but I'm still getting it and my laptop is only a couple of months old. 

 

And I have the latest Radeon graphics update 16.3.2, because my laptop can't get the 16.5.1 (beta)

 

I'm not sure what else to do

My screen developed a running crack and is now operating sporadically. The bottom right corner of my screen was not flush with the lid and yesterday I gave it a hard push and the screen cracked. It cracked where my thumb pushed and created a running hairline crack to the top of my screen. The budge is still not flush as the push only cracked my screen and now my laptop is working sporadically. My laptop is still under warranty and I'm really disappointed that this defect has created new issues. Who do I contact to get this repaired under warranty?

When I press the start button, all the lights came on(start button, keyboard, plug and etc.) except the screen.  The screen were totally blank. What do you think what is the problem with my laptop computer? Thank You!

i would like to know if someone has tested a solution to the glare on the screen of the hp spectre 13 inches which is very inconvenient.

 

Perhaps an official solution from HP... ?

Hey people,

 

My laptop's right quarter part of the display went blank when i turned on laptop one day and my screen got resized. I still can see the whole display up while booting but doesnt show content over that part.

After the windows logo pops up screen just goes blank. Screen works in safe mode, shows the drivers installed aswell. Intels integrated gpu works fine. It's just the amd/ati card that is causing the issues. Tried with reinstalling the windows, reinstalling the ati drivers from hp website, also tried older software version. Still experiencing the same problem. Any tips on how to solve it or could it be that the card is broken? Thanks

I just bought a Hp pavilion gaming 15 and I have multiple issues. There seems to be a 30 fps lock in every game and when I plug in the charging cable  it stops. I also searched up a benchmark for the pc and IT says that in games like gta 5 max settings it should be getting 60fps. in my case I only get 20 fps when the charging cable is plugged in and also at minimum settings. Basically I'm not getting ful, fps out of my pc. I payed good money and can't play any games properly can anyone help me with this?

hey all - prob a very easy answer but im trying to find a replacement screen part/model number for

tried a quick SIW and some moniterinfo - didnt gimme what i was looking for serail/part# wise. and i saw u help a few others with this both frm hp parts and offsite links - can you do the same for this model please ??

i already install driver for amd radeon graphic card without proplems but i can not play any game 
when i tray to open a game i see error message like this : "graphic card not installed !"

Hi after being bounced back to and fro from various departments of HP I'm still unable to get Pen support on my Spectre x360 13t-4200 model. I've came a few people that didn't have the firmware but were able to download it for their 15t series,  but so far I get a failed operation when I try to install the firmware.

 

The same pen works on my sister's last year's model. Attached is a screen shot. 

ANy help is welcomed as I'm a graphic artist, I need my active stylus functionality

I  installled Windows 10 directly from an ISO and then ran Windows Update.  All the drivers are installed but the webcam doesn't work.   I've since downloaded the newest HP universal webcam driver (SP71854) for Windows 10 and installed it and it still doesn't work.

I purchased an minivideo camra ST6000 Vl.00 pen, turned it on and then turned it off, and plugged it into my usb port, and now I can't bring it up for import and see video.  My HP says the software is all installed and device us ready. 

 

How do I get to see what is on my mini video camera, and can it be recorded and saved on my HP Paviliion

I have a 1440p monitor and was wondering if there is any way to get up to that resolution of 2560 x 1440. The max resolution I can get to is 1920x1080 using extend desktop or using only monitor 2. All drivers are up to date. In the manual it says the max resolution supported by the hdmi, which is what I'm using, is 1920 x 1200, but my graphics card is not listed in the manual, which is the 7690m xt. And before you ask, yes all my drivers are up to date, even though the amd display driver is from 2011. 

I've also tried the other output which is vga, again maxing out at 1080p.

Hello, I have been having so many issues with Realtek HD audio driver, one of them being that its not being shown on control panel.  and when i search it up in the searchbar, it says bang & olufsen, not Realtek HD audio driver.  If i can have any help it would me greatly appreciated.

Intel i3 6th generation

 

I want to know, whether I can use stylus on this laptop or not. If yes, then whether any damaged caused to the screen will be covered in the warranty or not.
