Last night my Fn buttons stopped working properly. When I watch a movie, for example, the volume lower key causes it to mute, the volume up key causes the volume to decrease and the rewind button cause an increase in volume.

When I am view the desktop, however, none of the function keys seem to be working properly too, not even in the way mentioned above.

However, when I press F1 Internet explorer opens. F3 causes the menu to pop up and F5 refreshes the desktop. I have no idea what the problem is.

Can anyone help?

My monitor working with HDMI but not with VGA. Notebook recognize my monitor, but monitor says no signal. I tried another monitor with same problem. And another HP notebook works fine with this monitor through VGA. I updated video card driver. What can else be a problem? (VGA never work on this notebook, it isn't new but it happened when i firs time use it)

Some help will be much appreciated.
So, my HP Envy 17's webcam has stopped working.
When I open a videocall in Skype or try to take a picture with the camera-app, all I get is a black screen of disappointment.
So, I went into Device Manager -> Imaging Devices & opened up the details.
Everything seems to be in order, the automatic update can't find any new drivers, it claims to be working fine.
BUT!!! Under the "Events" tab, the most recent event reads:

Device USB\VID_1BCF&PID_2082&MI_00\6&341948d&1&0000 requires further installation.

This events comes from Source KernelPNP, but the "Jobkategory" is marked as "Nothing"

I assume this "further installation" is required for the camera to work, but I have no clue what to install, or even where to find it

PLease help

Hi! I have HP probook 440 g1. By default I have 128MB video memory. Then I tried to increase video memory size to 512MB from bios. But it's not working. It still showing 128MB. 

Can you help me please?

My laptop's display experiences pixel flickering on the right side of the screen when dimming the brightness below 95%. Тhe flickering occurs on dark grey backgrounds.

 

I used to work around the issue by setting the refresh rate to 40 Hz (from 60 Hz). With the BIOS update this is no longer possible. I've tried to update and downgrade video drivers, but the issue persists. I have an Elitebook 850 on Win 7 Pro.

I updraded my windows in 4july,after updrage  the display colour is changing and it's red-white.

then i reset my laptop,then the same problem here,please give me the solution,is it any big problem???

Whenever and wherever I start typing, the cursor will jump to another line, page, word etc. Even when I hold my hands way above the keyboard and hit one key at a time. Whats going on?

Hi, does hp mini 110 4108tu vga card supports tv out function ? Can i connect my lappy to a normal tv with vga-av (3 colored out) cable ? How can i connect my mini to my tv which has only av port( 3 color) as connectivity source ? Plz help, thanku.

I can't find TrueVision HD driver that was lost with Windows 10 installation.

All researchs I have done with Hp support didn't work or with all Forum answers I have found.

If someone found away to download the driver please let me know.

Hopefully someone can help me.  My laptop worked one day, and the next, the screen seems kinda dimmed light and black, but works with an external monitor (typing on the tv as we speak)... it runs Windows 8 - though i am not sure which version.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  i did the hard reset and followed the steps to the driver downloads, but don't know which downloads to do or how to proceed from here.

I have a ZBook Studio G3 connected to two external 1920x1200 displays Z24i through the Thunderbolt Docking Station via DisplayPort.

 

Text in applications in the external monitors looks blurry, even though I have the setting to no scaling in Windows 10 for the two external monitors (100% scaling). 

 

Interestingly enough, the text of the window that shows up when I right click on the desktop looks fine.

 

The NVIDIA control panel seems to be using the right resolution, native.

 

I have used HP Support Assistance to make sure that all drivers are up to date.

 

I am at a loss. I have tried with an external UHD display and it works well, but not with the 1920x1200 display.

 

Anybody has had this problem before? I have searched the forums but w/o luck.

I recently bought an HP Specte X360 and an HP Active Pen to go along with it. Unfortunately, I am having a tough time getting the Active Pen to work. The pen worked for a short time after I shut the laptop down, left it off for a bit, then turned it back on. However, the pen isn't working now. Any advice on getting it to work?

Hi,

I am having the following issue: Every time I try playing a game, my laptop gets overheated and after 10 minutes of normal gameplay, the game's framerate goes down to 10-12 fps. Even when I try using smaller resolution or lower down the other video settings, it is the same. I think the main issue is that the computer has integrated graphics card and it is using it instead of my amd graphics card. So, the game that I tried is Counter-Strike Global Offensive. I am using Windows 10 Pro 64bit. My laptop is HP Probook 450 G1 E9Y25EA#AKS.

Here are the specs:

Processor:      Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4702MQ CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2201 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM):      8.00 GB (DDR3, 1600Mhz)

Screen size:      15.6 inch

Resolution:      1366x768
GPU Type:      Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Integrated) + AMD Radeon HD 8750M (2GB DDR3)

 

I tried the complete AMD uninstall. Then installing the latest drivers but no difference. Then I tried uninstalling them and installing the drivers from hp's servers - no difference. So I am a bit confused now and I don't know what to do. Before a year, I was using Windows 8 and I played all the games I wanted without the annoying lag. I think that probably there is some issue with the drivers for windows 10 or something because my pc is not that bad to run games like CS on 10 fps...

I was running Windows 7 and everything worked well, I could extent and duplicate monitors.  I use my laptop monitor as monitor #1 and my VGA port with an external VGA Monitor as Monitor #2 and I always extend my monitor.

 

After the upgrade to Windows 10 I get a duplication of Screen #1 on both monitors. I watched numourous videos that show how to extent the monitor but I never get the ability to choose the monitors.  I only get one option, Monitor #1.  Seems like my VGA port is just duplicating everything my laptop screen is projecting.

 

I diverted back to Windows 7 because this option is really important to my work and it works flawlessly. 

 

Going back to Windows 10 and it just still shows the duplication of the laptop screen.

Im having hp pavillion n004tx and i recently updated my laptop to windows 10 but im having trouble with the graphic driver which uses intel hd 4400 and radeon hd 8670m. I when i install the driver from the hp site the two driver cannot work together.. So please can u give me the appropriate driver for it. And also need driver for ralink bluetooth. Thank you.
