Laptop screen turned pink color shaded
Hello ,
I'm using HP 15-D005TU laptop ,
Today morning while I was playing game the screen suddenly became pink every thing is appearing in pink shade, also battery is draining very fast ( approx 1% in 1-2 mins) restarted it few time , got normal for few minutes after which it gain gone pink.
Please help.

Touchsmart 11 LCD failure
Hi,
The LCD on my Touchsmart 11 has failed. It was flickering vertical lines for a while and has now died completely. The HDMI output still works. The laptop is out of warranty. How can I send this back to HP for repair and any idea of cost?

touch screen is not working
Recently i have installed windows 10 in my HP pavillion Ts 14 notebook.
I did a clean instllation. After that i used the touch screen. but suddenly it sopped working.
The reset button in tablet pc option in controll panel has also grayed out.
Even in Hp Hardware Diagnostic there is no touch screen option to run the test.
what should i do to solve this touch screen problem

POINTER NOT RESPONDING
My kid was playing on the laptop and pressed the shift key several times and eventually locked the pointer hence not responding. I tried switching it off, pressing the shift key again for 8 seconds to disable the sticky key but not working either. What should I do?

iTunes tells me that my screen does not work with HDCP (and other graphic cards issues...)
When I go into iTunes and I want to watch a HD movie, it tells me that it cannot display it because my screen is not HDCP compatible.
Now... I did download, from HP site, the Intel Graphic card drivers and NVidia graphic drivers.
In my nVidia control panel, I have selected the nVidia graphic card as the default... does not change anything.
This used to work... I think it stopped working after the Windows 10 upgrade (or around that time).
I also see that I receive notification from Windows that my graphic driver crashed... it freeze for a second and then it comes back... Not so terrible... but very annoying.

Games won't even open on my HP 250 G4 (i3-5005u)
I am trying to get basic games working in steam, so far I have installed CSGO, Terraria & youtubers life unfortunatly I can only seem to play youtubers life. Whenever I try to open up terraria/csgo, steam displays the preparing game pop-up but then nothing happens.
I have installed all suggested drivers from hp support assistant as well as intel driver update utility, also directly from the HP website. I have tried running the games in multiple compatibility modes also running them as an admin. I have played around with security access options as well as editing .dll files. I have also tried verifying the games cache. On top of all of these things I have tried reinstalling steam, the games themselves as well as windows 10.
If it helps at all, whenever I try to install graphics drivers using the intel driver update utility I get an error message
stating that "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
Perhaps it is to do with direct x?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

HP x64 Go outputting to HDMI
New HP Pro Book 450 G3. (Win 7 Pro) Very disappointed re internal documentation and help etc.
I Need to connect 2nd display via HDMI for church services and have spent a frustrating hour trying to find out how. Surely something as simple as this on a Pro machine with a dedicated Graphics card should be a no brainer.
Please advise ASAP.

Auto brighness madness!!
Hi,
Since the day i got the HP Envy 13, i've been experiencing this absolutely horrific auto brightness feature.
I've tried the following things to turn off this utterly useless feature.
1* In the intel graphics driver menu I've sett all the option to "high performance"
2* Disable the Windows sensor monitoring service.
3* look in the Windows power management setting et set adaptive brightness to off.
All to no avail.
As soon as i enter a mostly black screen application and exit this application my screen is in a low brighness state and slowly fades back to full brightness.
Please help me turn off this feature once and for all.
It's almost if HP is trying to hide the huge backlight bleeding that this model has
I hope this is not the case.

Conecting a 1920 x 1200 monitor to my HP Envy 15 Touchsmart Lap Top.
I want to by a monitor to use with Adobe Lightroom and the one I am looking at is a 24 inch monitor wth a resolution of 1920 x 1200, an Asus PA249Q. My HP Envy Touch Smart 15 Display is 1920 x1080.
Will the monitor work ok from the lap top? Can I change the resoltion on the lap top from the control panel on Windows 10? I tried to take a look at doing this but can't select a monitor - possibly because I haven't got one connected.

HP ENVY PHEONIX 860-050na HDMI PORTS NOT WORKING
I recently bought the HP Envy Pheonix 860-050na PC and have had issues with the HDMI ports. There appear to be three on the back, however only one works. I have been trying to set up multiple displays, however because of this issue it is not working. Below shows pictures of the ports. The two labeled HDMI ports are the ones that do not work, and the one on its own works without any issue at all.
Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

I have a windows 10, touchscreen HP laptop and when I use the the brush, it won't let me use my finger to draw, it lets me use it in the instant preview, but when I select the brush the cursor doesn't move at all. Any other tool, i.e. Calligraphy, Ellipse, etc. can be selected, and drawn onscreen by my finger and/or a digital stylus.
Is there a way I can fix this?

screen screwed up
so, iv'e had this laptop for a little over a year, and have had very few issues, but today, i opened it up, and there were black spots and colored lines all over the screen. i haven't dropped it recently, and i can't find any cracks. how do i fix this?

Hdx 9300 black screen and hdmi black
Hello guys, maybe somebody had the same problem, my friend has a hp hdx 9300 was working fine the all of a sudden the laptop switched off and when rebooted the screen is completly black, tried an external vga, its black, tried an external hdmi and its all black. We can hear the hd working, dvd running.... all lights are ok, tried everything in the trouble shooting of hp web site ... nothing. Anybody can give us a hand?

Brightness setting with f2-f3 is not working for Pavilion15
It has been suddenly impossible to set the screen brightness both with f2-f3 and from the control panel or the power management section.
I have never updated any driver since when I bought my laptop at the end of 2014. Could that be the reason? what could I do?
The screen works properly and I can see it clearly, but this brightness problem is quite annoying..

Display driver lost!
Hi,
I had Radeon (TM) HD 6470 driver and the game was working just fine, then i decided to update the driver and ended up messing up everything. Now when i go to device manager i dont find the Radeon driver anymore, it says: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.
For that reason i cant play games like Overwatch and it gives me this message:
"no compatible graphics hardware was found"
any help please? is there a way to get my old drivers back?
