Hey so been having this problem with my light on the mute button. It won't turn off. I checked to see if volume works and it does. Muting works but the light just stays on. Help!

different colored vertical lines, keep on changing. get fixesometime in 30-40 min. of working on it.
It show different colored vertical lines. These keep on changing, when I turn display down and again up. Sometime it get fixed by this turning of display down & up. Sometime half display work properly with vertical lines on left half display. Someone if I play video, then it gets fixed in 20-30min. It also get fixed when I hold display support with some pressure(where display and laptop are connected). If i leave laptop on with these lines, the display comes for 3-5sec and again vertical lines are displayed. But the display work done after it get fixed. So what is the problem?

screen remains black and system manager not working!

So, here's my problem:
My laptop is doing some weird stuff.
When I turn the computer on, the blue HP logo appears and it loads, but after that a black screen appears.
This has happened to me before, so what I did was to press f11 and then enter the system manager and then I could restore the computer. No problem.
Now, when I press f11 it will say "please wait" and then just enter a black screen.
I tried to do a bios update. I pressed the windows-logo and B, meanwhile also pressing the power button, and a BIOS update did indeed appear, but after the update, the hp logo just appears and loads, and then goes to a black screen. After a while a short blue message saying some like "The computer has an error, and a restore will now be completed" and then an automatic restore appears, but the screen agaaain goes to black lol.
NOTE: I can also press f10, but I don't know what I need that to.
So, thats my problem. I really hope that someone can help me. This is quite frustrating.

HDMI Not Detected HP Pavilion Touchsmart 14-B132tx Intel Core i3
PLEASE HELP ME OUT. I've tried ALL the solutions I found online and nothing worked!!
OS: Windows 8.1-64 bit
1. My HDMI cable is brand new, AND WE tested it at the store, with the store's own TV and laptop.
2. Sound Panel -> Playback tab, then right clicked on the two options called "show disabled devices" and
"Show Disconnected devices" that appeared, and checked these. Didn't work. It did not show the HDMI device
in Playback.
3. Also installed the latest Intel Graphics media accelerator, even ran the Intel Driver update utility so
it can detect which drivers need upgrading. Downloaded their latest driver, restarted and still the HDMI
device doesn't show anywhere, not in sound panel.
4. I've also gone to Device Manager -> System Devices -> High Definition Audio Controller to Update Driver
but Windows says its Up to Date because I downloaded the latest Intel Driver for Windows 8.1
5. I've also gone to services.msc and restarted Windows Audio Service. The HDMI device still does not show
in my Sound Card Panel nor the Device Manager...I restarted my laptop while TV is ON and connected to
laptop through HDMI. Still NOT Working.

How to use the Touchpad on my Pavilion Notebook
At the risk of sounding like a total idiot I have the following question.....how on earth do I use my Touchpad?!
I can move the cursor around but there are no left and right buttons like on my previous laptops so how do I use this function? Are there other buttons I should be pressing as alternatives?! Final thing; sometimes when I double tap it in order to select something it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Please can somebody help this total computer idiot out....!

Display Folds
My laptop has just recently started doing this thing where the left half of the screen glitches and then shifts over about 10 pixels where it creates a "fold" where my cursor and text can go behind and it basically just moves the left part of the screen over top of the other part. Then, on the left side of the screen there is just a 10 pixel column that I can't move my cursor over or anything as if it were the edge of the screen. Any help is much appreciated!

Warranty
So, my HP Envy x360 has a screen problem that I described in an earlier post, but the situation that I am in currently is that around February, I contacted HP to get a box to send my laptop back and get it repaired in. Now, I couldn't send it back at the time because I needed it every day for classes. So, I decided to wait until the end of the school year, not thinking that my warranty expires in April . Is it still possible for me to send my laptop back to be repaired free of charge? Thanks!

Two video issues with my HP Envy
Hi all. Brand new here. I've got two issues with my laptop, that have been there sinse i've had it (a few months)
1) Issue with VLC - whenever i watch any content on VLC, i get one line of green pixels at the bottom. This is easily solved, as VLC has a trim function, so i just crop one pixel off the bottom, but I have no idea why it's doing this.
2) Issue with YouTube on Chrome. If i watch YouTube videos on Chrome, they are always stuttery, and this is not my internet - they buffer fine, but it feels like my graphics aren't up to it (AMD Radeon R6 + A10 8700 processor)
If i load YT on Edge, it works fine, but i'm really not a fan of that browser.
My screen is usually extended over two displays, but i think the YouTube issues are still there even on one screen
Any suggestions you can give would be great!

new HP Pavillion 17t laptop touch pad - is there a setting to prevent changes in fonts/view
I have a brand new computer and not liking the touch pad that randomly changes the fonts. Is there a setting where I can prevent this from happening.

Re: I hard reset my laptop, error occurred and now my laptop is in a state of constant reboot.
I used the media profile to download Windows 10 to a USB and everything worked fine but now there's another problem. My laptop was working after reinstalling Windows, but then I shut my laptop over and went away for ten minutes or so and I've came back to a black screen with no display at all. The white LED is on so my laptop is on. It has around 40% charge in it as of typing this. The screen is unresponsive. Please help again but thank you for helping me fix the first issue.

3 screen displayport chain: Screens go black and return constantly
Annoying issue.
3 screens are all Z24nf, they are capable to create a DisplayPort chain up to 3 screens.
Original setup was Laptop connected to Screen1 from PC DisplayPort, then a chain from screen 1 to screen 2 and 3.
DisplayPort setting in screens are 1.2 that supports this.
opertating system: Windows 7 Enterprise
So this can work like one day or some hrs, but eventually there will be that screens are starting to go black for a few seconds and then return,then do this every 2-20 seconds, all at same time or separately.
Also tried using the HP 2013 Ultra Slim Docking station,and 3 screen chain, dosen't seem to get better.
Last setup was to use both DisplayPorts in dock to have one chain with 2 screens and the last screen with own cable direct from dock. It was good for one day, but next day (today) when i startup cmp, the flickering is back. Screens go black and return constantly.
It seems to help if you do some change, any change, swap the dock, swap position on screens like nr 1<>3 physically.
Maby a cmp power reset can also help but not always.
So anyone that experienced this?

HP Pavilion x2 Detachable black screen
When I try to turn on the tablet the on botton shows like is on but the screen remains black at all atimes. It does looks like its charging when I plug the charger just fine. But it does not makes any sound or have shows any picture. Thanks in advance. P.S It havent been dropped is 6 months old.

в играх не включается дискретная видеокарта, переключение в каталист контрол центре на высокую производительность не помогает, драйвеа установлены с этого сайта, при использовании программы амд систем мониторинг нагрузка в играх на карту R7 m260 всегда 0%, что делать чтоб работала дискретная видеокарта?
