I am working on my sister-in-law's laptop attempting to connect a 2nd monitor. I have just replaced her RAM to 8 GIG (factory was 4 GIG) and thought it would be easy to just hook up this second monitor. We purchased a DVI to HDMI cable, hook the cable up to the monitor. Make sure there was power to the monitor. Then I change the display settings to mirror the displays. The second monitor turns on and shows the display however it in a split second turns black. Power is still on for the 2nd display however it just displays black. The graphic card I have in the HP-15 touch screen is the amd radeon (tm) r4 graphics. I am wondering if I turn off the touch screen ability would it work or if anyone has any tips to get this second display to work please let me know.

Need help with graphics card Please
Ok so i have intel 4000 and Amd 7600M and I just want to use Intel 4000, just because i always get problem from AMD drivers like BSOD now i have tried most possible solution to solve my problems with AMD drivers but still cant and i am tired. Please i just want to use Intel I try disabling amd in device manager but if there is no amd the intel wouldn't work. once tried disabling AMD and intell was working perfecting fine pls help. Just want to use Intell 4000.

Blank screen f12 orange light on, capslock nlinks every 5 seconds battery refuses to charge

I need someone to tell me how to cancel the touchscreen, I can´t do almost anything with the mouse or with my fingers because that area is constantly active ...
i tried to disable touchscreen using the following step
- Press the Windows key + X.
- Select Device Manager from the list.
- Click the little arrow next to Human Interface Devices to expand the list.
- Click the touch screen driver.
- Right-click, and select Disable from the list.
- Click Yes on the dialog box. BUT I DIDNT FIND ANY SOLUTION KINDLY HELP ME OUT THANK YOU

Skype blank screen
Hi
i hope someone can help in very simple terms...am a bit of a techno phobe
I have a HP Pavillion DV6 laptop running windows 10.
When I make or receive a skype video call I cant see the other persons video its just a black screen. Ive tried it with several contacts and none of them work...they can see me but I cant see them. Ive done the basic ..check settings for receiving etc but nothing pls help...I have a new niece and haven't been able to see her!

HP ProBook 6570b touchscreen and zoom?
I just bought a HP ProBook 6570b laptop 2nd hand from a local college who was moving to a new campus and upgrading to new computers/laptops. Anyway, I bought this computer and it was reset to factory settings. It had Windows 7 and when I first turned it on it had a free upgrade to Windows 10 which I did upgrade to...though now I've seen a couple places people saying Windows 10 is not good? The main point I guess is that I don't know a lot about the functions and capabilities of the computer and what all it comes with. I have several questions but I have 3 questions to start with.
1. I tried putting icons on the desktop but have noticed that the touchpad allows you to zoom in and out much like on your phone. When I do this (usually by accident) all of the icons become huge and then when I zoom back out, they are all in different places. Is there a way to turn off this zoom function? While it may be handy for certain things, overall I've found it to be very hindering to basic use of the laptop.
2. I've noticed that the screen orientation will often turn. These both seem to be functions that are compatible for a phone or tablet. However, again it becomes annoying when I'm just trying to use it as a laptop. Is there a way to disable this function ? I know it has a "Tablet Mode" which I would possibly be interested in using sometimes, which brings me to my next question...
3. Does this computer come with touchscreen capabilities? It has seems to have all the other capabilities of a tablet and even has the "Tablet Mode" but I have not been able to figure out whether it has a touchscreen or not, and if so, how to enable it. If not, how do I disable the other functions that are inhibiting basic functions of the laptop.

Hi, I bought this Tablet & power keyboard a couple of months ago.
HP PROX2 612 G1 Core I5-4302Y 1.6Ghz
8GB- 256GB SSD
12.5" FULLHD - LED TOUCH SCREEN – W8.1
If I were to buy the slim docking station (D9Y32AA) to go with it, how many external monitors would the tablet be able to support (via docking station). I know the dock got 2 DP and 1 VGA. So physically, 3 possible monitors at the same time. But on the software and driver side how many is possible?

Menu line on desktop and unable to use anything on the desktop
I can't open anything on the desktop, including settings. The mouse cannot be used to select anything however the mouse icon is there and is movable using the mouse pad and a plugged in mouse. There appears to be a black menus line down the middle of the screen.

Computer won't display
I reset my computer, and I came back to it a couple hours later (my screen is broken on my laptop, so I have to use a output monitor to see display) and my laptop was running but there was nothing on the monitor, so I tried a different monitor and same thing and with different cables, did a hard reset and did not work no the display on the laptop goes black every 10-15 seconds or so and then the wireless turns from white to orange. Took out the RAM did nothing. NEED HELP PLEASE!!

Problem with video adapter/Screem Share
So after install windows 10 in my notebook doesn't share screen other displays. When I press WIN+P it said that your computer can not transfer the image on another screen
I installed some drivers but no result! In help system my notebooks latest updates all for windwos 8.

Hp pavillion DV6700 cannot detect to a projector
Hello guys,
i am currently using a HP pavillion dv6700, Windows Vista and bought a Unic portable projector. Unfortunately, it cannot detect the projector. the projector works perfectly and i thought the chord was the problem so i tried replacing the HDMI to HDMI to HDMI to VGA but it still doesnt work. i researched for a week and still couldnt find any solution to this problem. I already tried updating the drivers using driver finder but it didnt work. i promised my little brother that id give the laptop and the projector to him once i fixed it. please help.
