I found out my HP 650 G1 is on generic pnp display.
I need increase that x768 to more than x1024.
this is because some website will not display properly if that is less than x1024
Please help.

switchable graphics not working
I have a Pavilion Dv7-6c60us running Windows 7 64bit and i have been having problems getting the AMD HD7470M high performance graphics functioning properly (not even sure they are working at all). As far as I know, i have latest drivers from HP for both graphics and CCC. Setting in AMD Catalyst Control are set to force for high performance graphics for gaming applications.
How do I know if the HD7470 is even working? A number of support technicians have tried unsuccessfully to get this working and I am getting frustrated.
Can someone please offer some advise on this?

HP envy white screen
I have an HP Envy 17 and if I leave the computer running and ,don't move the mouse, the screen will go white after about 5 minutes. The white screen will not go away unless the computer is restarted. If I am watching a movie, audio will continue to play, but the screen stays white. What can I do to resolve this issue?

keyboard not responding the it will not come on Hps15

I just recently purchased a refurbished HP15 laptop and the entire keyboard went out. The mouse reappeared but the key didn't work. I did the battery trick mentioned in prior posts but when I replaced the battery the laptop did not come back on it is just dead. What should I do?

touchpad
Sorry if this is the wrong board. I could see no forum related to a mouse or touchpad.
I have a very annoying problem on my Elitebook 8440p which has no obvious solution. When I turn off the touchpad, using stock HP drivers, each time I boot the laptop or shut it down I get an extremely annoying 'thunk' sound along with a graphic on my desktop that looks like a red touchpad icon with a bar through it.
I am thinking the thunk, or pop, is the HP equivalent of the computer beep sound since I have all my Windows sounds turned off too.
I find this extremely annoying because I shut off the touchpad, I know it's off, and I don't need to be reminded of that every time I boot and shutdown the laptop. I could live with the graphic but the thunk/pop pound is so irritating that I have uninstalled the stock HP touchpad drivers and replaced them with stock Windows PS/2 drivers. Of course, I lose all the goodies that go with the touch pad like advanced gestures whenever i decide to use the touchpad.
I get a similar thunk sound when I shut down right at the end of the shutdown where the lights turn off. I am used to computer beeps on older desktops at boot time but not at shutdown.

Disabling Intel Graphics
Hello,
I have HP starwars special edition laptop which has both Intel HD Graphics 520 & Nividia 940M graphics.
What I want is that completly disable intel graphics card and using only nividia graphics card.
First, i checked the bios for any option to do so, but found nothing.
i updated the bios and still this option is not there!
I want to completly remove intel graphics from device manager.
Laptop Model : 15-AN000NE
OS : Windows 10 64 bit

Display Problem dv7t
My product is almost 3 years old and has been working fine.
However, I have had the following issue during this winter (cold morning).
When I open the lid to start up the computer, the screen is not in blue, insted covered by wide white-pink-light blue bands.
Then, the screen is getting in blue from the top edge very slowly.
It takes several minutes to be able to see the login screen.
Once the computer has warmed up, after about 5 to 10 minutes, the computer start working without any problem.
Can we fix this proble?
Is this a sign of the hardware problem and better to buy a new lap top?

Error 43 NVIDIA Quadro K1100M - HP Z book 15 G2
Hi,
I recently noticed that my graphics card in my laptop is not functioning. In my device manager I can see that the graphic card supplied by INTEL is being used (Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600) and my other display adapter ( NVIDIA Quadro K1100M ) has an error:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
I have tried to solve this problem by updating my drivers (version 361.91 as suplied by NVIDIA ) . This did not work.
Next I have tried to remove all drivers and then do a clean install. Again this did not work.
BIOS update had no effect either.
I disabled the other graphics card in the BIOS and tried to run it only on the NVIDIA card, but this also did not work (black screen with stripes).
I then also used the drivers supplied on the HP website (version 354.42) these drivers also had no effect
My notebook was delivered with Windows 8 64 bits, which I had immediately upgraded to Windows 10 64 bits. This was about a half year ago, but now I noticed that my graphic card is not working. This bothers me as this was the primary reason for me to buy this notebook in the first place. Can this be a software malfunctioning or is my hardware broken?

Probook 4340s camara is not working anymore after update to WINDOWS 10
Internal camera is not working anymore after update to WINDOWS 10.
All drivers are updated.
I also downloaded camera drivers from HP but they provide several types. I don't know which camera to install.
I also don't know what I can do else.
If someone can help me .... ?

I have a HP ENVY Notebook with intel graphics 4600
Help, I have a HP Envy 17t laptop with intel graphics 4600. I upgraded to windows 10 back in December. When I'm on firefox, or facebbok the screen goes black or white and states that the display driver has stopped responding and will recover and refers to windows 8.1, same response that other customers have experienced. It eventually does recover but this is a continued problem. I have also noticed that since I did upgade to windows 10 my computer seems slower. I was reading the forums and it sounds like HP has compter manufacturing rights on the intel graphics. When I went to the intel site to update the graphics driver it states that the computer manufacturer had the grpahics installed and that I risk harming my computer if I procede. I went to the device manager and tried to update the intel HD graphics and it stated that everything is updated. I really regret upgrading to windows 10. I'm disappointed in my computer, I have had it for 1 year now and paid alot of money. I was expecting this computer to last me at least for 4 years. Is HP going to release a driver to fix this issue with windows 10? Please advise and help. It looks like a a lot of customers are in the same predicament and this is unfortuante.

while booting the display is pinkish with thin horizontal streak in the top of LCD display for a minute or so and the screen restores its self after that

Hp Elitebook 8570p Screen, keyboard and mouse pad not working
Hi,
I have a Hp Elitebook 8570p. Screen, keyboard and mouse pad is not working.
The mouse pad works in bios strangly, but not the keyboard.
I have conneted the computer to a seperate screen and installed win 7PRO 64. Everything works perfectly with
USB keyboard and mouse.
Then i installed win10 64. The problem remains.
Before all this the origin problem was that the computer wouldnt start up and got hung up before windows started. I unplugged the motherboard battery for a few days, and installed win764. Its was at that time i noticed that keyboard, mouse and screen didnt work.
Can you please help me?

HP 250 G4 Screen Replacement
I have a HP 250 G4 notebook and would like to replace the display. Although it's not damaged, the display is of low quality and has a poor contrast ratio. I would like to replace the display with one that has a glossy finish and a higher contrast ratio. (And maybe a higher resolution, if possible).
What manufacturer or part number should I look for to ensure compatability with my HP 250 G4? All I know is that it's a 15.6" widescreen LED backlit display.

Screen doesn't tour on
I have my touchsmart notebook 15-f010wm for 14 months. It works perfectly. But one day I toured it off the next day I try to tour on it won't. The display light not working. But if i connected With TV by HD Cable. It shows everything.

17-e020us HD 4000 driver update?
Is there a driver update for a 17-e020us laptop? The current driver says it is an Inel HD Graphics 4000 driver dated 3/6/2013 version 9.18.10.3055. There are newer drivers on the Intel site, but when I try to install one it says they're not compatible. I try using various HP support assistant and/or Windows update, but it says my driver is up to date. This may be a long shot, but I'm trying to update the driver as I'm having trouble with the TurboTax GUI buttons/links not working.
(I've spent 5 hours on support with TurboTax and we've tried everything else and they've seen graphics drivers causing problems similar to mine).
Any help greatly appreciated.

Pavilion 15 - Brightness Fn keys
Hello,
I have a broblem with editing brightness on my NTB (model specified above). All Fn keys works fine but these for brightness not. Give me the name of the driver that is responsible for this function so i can try to reinstall it, or help me to fix it other way if you have any experience with the same bug.
