Hello there,

I am sonu parmar from india. i have hp pavilion notebook 15-n209tx, and i want to that can i watch 3D movies on my product ? Dose my PC supports 3D Display ? i have gone through the intel graphics properties and it have the option of 3D Display but all the fields were blank and i can't even modify it. i have added screenshot which display the 3d settings which is blank all the time.

 

Now the thing is that i wanna know that whether my PC is having support of 3D Display or not, can i watch 3D movies on my PC ? and if it does support 3D Display , then how can i make it run on my PC and watch 3D Movies ?

 

More over i have NVIDIA GEFORCE Graphics card built-in installed in my PC.

Hello everyone! As i wrote my laptop's screen is too dark and barely visible.Last night i tried to install the trial version of  the Adobe Media Encoder CC.It was late and i want to rest for a bit so i thought it would not harm to rest until the installation is finished.Sadly for me i fell asleep and woke up some hours later.I'm sure that the laptop was running (because of the sound), same with the small touch pad display next to the power button (the one that you can change the volume, enable/disable wireless signal etc).Sometimes things like that happen.I thought it would go back to normal if i restarted it so i pushed the power button for 5 secs got to sleep.After i woke up i tried get the laptop started.Just like yesterday everything seemed to work well except from the screen.First of all i used an HDMI cable to connect it with my TV and find out the problem.Everything is fine.Actually i am writing this using the TV as my screen.I've searched on the internet and found many possible solutions.Heat it up(?! no way i'm doing this, it's my dead last solution), change the RAM positions, get the BIOS default settings, turn it off, take off the battery, unplug the ac adapter, try pushing the button for 30-60-120 secs and each time try to boot and see if it's working.I tried these but nothing worked.Some extra info.I tried to use the recovery manager.Why? i was sleeping when that happened but it happened right when i tried to install an application that is somehow related to my problem.Furthermore it install some visual C++ versions (i firmly believe that this is the reason my screen is barely visible.That's why i wanted to uninstall the app and the C++ versions.But i had trouble...the first time i attempted a recovery my security app blocked it.I uninstalled it and tried to do the same thing again.Again, an error window appeared but it probably uninstalled at least the C++.Right now if i'll try to do a recovery depending on the time i select to do that either both "drivers to be deleted" and "perhaps restored" boxes will be empty or only the "perhaps restored" box will be full of the apps i wanted to delete in the first place(Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x64 9.0.30729..., Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729..., Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable x64 and x86, Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable x64 and x86).The other box (delete) is empty.I checked the power supply but the brightness features are ok.The last thing i cheked is the screen resolution.The resolution is 1366x768 and everything seems to be ok.If you need more info i would be glad to write them.Sorry for my bad English, not a native speaker.Thanks in advance!!

My wife upgraded the OS in her laptop, a Pavilion g6, to Windows 10. Since doing so, she gets a small window pop up in the bottom right corner every few minutes saying that the display driver has failed, and been restarted. It obviously needs an upgrade to the driver. What do I need and where do I get it?

When i go on to the news apps or any other apps i am unable to run video clips of any kind,is there a problem with my settings or is there another problem that i have overlooked?

While using it went into sort of hibernation then when restarted after 20 mins its screen flickered with horizontal and vertical coloured lines repeatedly. Restated multiple times did system restart in safe mode and also system reset for all files. But no use. Screen is still flickering....a memorable experience for first day of use.

Laptop screen goes black with no pattern established for this problem.

 

Cannot turn laptop on or off.

 

Cannot wake up laptop by using mouse/touch pad.

 

Close lid, wait 8 seconds until the light goes off, open lid, screen turns on by using mouse/touch pad and work remains intact.

 

This happens even when all settings are set to NEVER.

I followed a prompt to install an update but after it was installed the f2 + f3 brightness keys don't work at all. I've tried removing the battery and restarting as per suggestion on another thread but to no avail.

 

It's so bright it's uncomfortable to use!

 

Any suggestions?

have purchased x360 s101tu directly from Hp India while even checking out the system on first day of arrival my system went into sleep mode. It seemed to have gone into hibernate mode and remained so even after 20 mins so I hard booted from power button. On restart the screen started flickering with horizontal and vertical lines. Tried to restart in safe mode. No improvement. Google searched and did a system reset. Still the problem isn't resolved. 

This definitely is not a first day experience a consumer wants.

HP has definitely compromised quality standards.

After installing Windows 10 64 bit, all of the backgrounds that use be white are now day glo blue. MS was no help. How do I get rid of this?

Hello, my notebook has the light under the keyboard, switched on every time I type a character.

Well, is it possible to have the light ALWAYS present or is it possible to "regulate" the timer for shut it?

1. The sd card reader is not working. Whenever i try to use it nothing displays in the removable device section. Have tried it with multiple sd cards. It still doesnt work. Tried uninstalling teh driver and then reinstalling it again. Still its of no use.

 

2. The mousepad is not responding properly. Sometmes it works fine and sometimes it stucks up and doesnt respond. Pages get zoomed in and out if you try to use the mousepad.  Using an optical mouse  for the time being .

Hi, my problem is relatively simple to explain but also incredibly frustrating.

 

It seems the entire system stutters/jitters/judders every second or so. It only becomes obvious when a smooth motion is being displayed, as the motion is always interrupted by a very slight pause (the stutter) and then continues until the next second.

 

Examples of when this happens:

- Scrolling through a web page (using the click wheel)

- Any kind of camera panning in films or video

- Cutscenes in games

- Any slow movement of the camera in games

 

I've tried turining on maximum performance settings on my GeForce 840M as well as switching to the integrated graphics card, but nothing seems to make any difference to this issue.

 

I have learned to tolerate it, but it makes for a suboptimal experience when trying to watch TV and films or play games. The constant jerking - slight though it is - causes headaches and frustration during long sequences of smooth movement (a recent example was some sweeping shots in Making a Muderer which were consistently interrupted).

 

Many thanks in advance for any advice you have. Hopefully there is a solution, although I feel it may be a quirk of the hardware.

8GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce 840M GPU

hi everyone

 

when trying to play a game there is a blue screen that suddendly appears to me and my notebook is restarting . i don't know what is that and also there is an annoying notification that continously appear to me saying that display driver isn't responding and has been recovered (relating the problem to intel HD graphic card ).

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to all, I recently purchase from eBay a HP Pavilion DV7 3165 DX Entertainment Laptop. The laptop is a beast. I bought it from a receying place. I got it Thursday and it turn on 1 time. It hasn't boot it up since

 

So I contacted the compny and they told me to send it back. I'm sending back this week. They offer me to fix it, a exchange or a refund, I prefer they fix it because I really did like the laptop

 

My question to all, is it possible to fix the HP black screen of death? If possible I want the place to fix for me and i was wondering are there any soulitions to this problem

 

It powers up, the l.e.d. lights come on and the fan's come on just not the screen 

 

Please help me out

since upgrading my laptop from win 7 to win 10, the factory installed webcam doesn't work. I've tried install shield wizard, and download center at HP, but the camera isn't listed as installed hardware in my control panel. The laptop came with cyberlink youcam software installed, and I downloaded the latest version and installed it, but when opening the program it cannot find the camera. I know there is one installed because I'm sitting here looking at it, and I used it prior to the upgrade to win 10. If there are drivers for the camera that I need to install, where do I find them?

I HAVE A PAVILLION DV6 LAPTOP.

FOR SOME TIME NOW THE 5/6 KEYS WILL NOT WORK AS WILL NOT THE KEY UNDER THE F12.

 

WHEN THEY STOPPED WORKING IT WAS LIKE THEY WOULD WORK THEN THEY WOULD NOT.

I'm having trouble with playing a DVD on this machine. When I put the DVD in you can hear sound for a short time and that's it. No more sound & no movie. I have got to my Control Panel, clicked on Hardware & Sound, clicked on AutoPlay & made sure the "Use AutoPlay for all media & device" is clicked but no movie. I have also unclicked "Use AutoPlay for all media & device" scroll down to DVDs clicked on DVD movie and selected Play DVD Vidoe (Power Media Player 14) along with the Enhanced DVD movie and selected Play DVD Video (Power Media Player 14). And again nothing happens as for as the movie coming on. I do get a pop up screen that you can select Play DVD Vidio (Power Media Player 14) to play movie but nothing happens. PLEASE HELP!!
