I have a user that when she undocks her 8440P the physical keyboard will not respond, and she has to bring up the screen keyboard and use that.
Any driver issues that anyone is aware of or has this happened to anyone else and you found a solution or workaround.

I have just updated to Windows 10 and was hoping, that the media-control-buttons (play, next, back) would work again after the update. For the past few months they hadn't been working.
I have updated and reinstalled the keyboard-driver - didn't work.
Any suggestions?

About a dozen times per day, the Display briefly freezes and the message (approximate) "Display Driver Died and has Recovered." I cannot identify a particular program that causes the problem but it often happens when watching youtube videos on Internet Explorer 11.
I've gone thru all the steps in the help assistant including restarting the BIos. With the GeForce Experience or with the HP Support Assistant, I've updated the display driver to the latest version. GeForce GTX 950M, Intel Core i7-6500 CPU @ 2.50GHz, 16 GB RAM, 1920 x 1080 60Hz, Driver version 361.43. Microsoft Windows 10 Pro.

How do I disable the touchpad when using a USB mouse?
I am having issues with my touchpad and Bluetooth. I have my touchpad at the latest driver and it does not work the synaptic click pad on the taskbar appears with a red x threw it indicating it’s disabled. If I go to the click pad settings, it says it’s enabled and if I tap in the left top corner nothing happens. Also there is not physical switch which I can see or an option on the keyboard. If I uninstall the program and reinstall the driver threw windows it works but it’s just a matter of time that the icon appears in the corner with the red x threw it and it stops working.
As for the Bluetooth it keeps dropping every once in a while taking several minutes to reconnect forcing me to take out a usb mouse with a dongle as the touch pad does not work ether,
I would not mind that much but as I am in school and I need to keep up with notes and some lecture demonstrations, I find this completely unacceptable.

my lapop developed a problem wuth the screen. it started with greenish and blue vertical lines. I opened the laptop and unplugged and plugged back the video cable. this worked for a while.
But then just a few weeks later colors got all mixed up with green color prominent on especially shadows.
i was advised that it could be either cable or LCD. I have replaced both with no change.

Yesterday my mouse started flickering and I have a clear bubble floating around my screen. I have unplugged my mouse and shut down the laptop and still have the issue.

Basic Problem: I need a link and instructions on how to install the stock switchable graphics software and drivers for my computer (LW398UA#ABA)
I am experiencing issues after flashing my bios to the newest version, and after updating the AMD 6630m drivers.
Normally, when I right click the desktop I am given options to engage switchable graphics. After flashing the bios, my computer was unstable, slow, and crashed. I rolled back the bios with advanced system diagnostics, and my computer became more stable, but now when I right click the desktop the option to switch graphics is gone. I only have the option to click AMD catalyst control center. When I click that, I get an error message stating: "Amd catalyst control center cannot be started. there are currently no settings that can be confitured using AMD catalyst control center."
I want to roll back my graphic drivers to the stock ones, because those were stable. I have no system restore points for some reason so that option is negated. How can I proceed to roll back or install the old switchable graphics drivers?
Additional info: Although I have no option to switch to the intel integrated graphics card (since switchable gfx button is gone) I can start my pc without it plugged in and run on the integrated graphics. If i start the PC with power connected, Im running on the AMD radeon card and everything is distorted. Perhaps I need to install the drivers while using one of the two graphics options (either integrated, without power---or the 6630m radeon card, when powered)

About a year ago, i received a notification from AMD CCC to update the driver and did so. Since then, the 7400m stopped working and still failed to do so after;
a) rolling back drivers
b) reinstalling drivers from HP website
c) using system restore to Factory Settings
After some research i found that the Discreet GPU's in HP Laptops will only work with drivers offered through HP but those fail to fix the issue too.
I have set Powerplay to use Max Performance and even tried disabling ULPS, which ofcourse failed as system is locked to 'Dynamic only setup'
Active Power Plan still shows as High Performance, yet it is the intergrated GPU in use, not dedicated
Also recently upgraded to Windows 10, had no issues but GPU problem remains
AMD Catalyst Control Center still shows I have the 7400M and hardware monitoring from MSI Afterburner shows its temperature at 45C but 0% GPU Usage.
When running games which with Powerplay enabled, used to run on the 7400M, still run on the weak Intergrated Intel Graphics.

I am looking for win7 drivers for my two monitors HP L1925 and HP LP2465 -- the HP website no longer has them. Where can I get the drivers?
I bought the 2005pr USB 2.0 Port Replicator when I was using Windows 7 in my HP Envy. Now that I've upgraded to Windows 10, my port replicator does not work. HP does not have any Windows 10 drivers in their website. I tried uninstalling the ViewSpan software that came with the replicator and installing DisplayLink (which has drivers for Windows 10), but the result was the same: USB and sound in the replicator work but the display does not. Does anybody know what can I do to fix this?

I cracked the glass at the microphone hole by lifting the unit with a grip around the top edge of the display.
The TS-function is gone but there is no other damage. I can live with the unit as is. Contacting HP spare part resellers they recomend to sell me a new complete lid for the cost of a half computer. In the part list there is no sign of a glass, but on top there is a bezel no 727478-001. The resellers will not confirm if the glass is on the bezel (and they cant say if not).
I understand that HP recomends to change the full unit as it is a safe solution, but why not give away information about minimum parts replacement?
Question: Can anyone say if the glass is with the bezel?

My Display Driver is Intel (R) HD Graphics Family and version is 8.15.10.2559. My previous version of Display Driver is 8.15.10.2353. So, when I update it to latest version my laptop suddenly shuts down without giving any information. When I disable Display Driver it works well. What should I do now ?

Got brand new HP-Hp 15-ac110tx (dos) laptop, formatted it and installed Win 7 - 64bit ultimate version. Downloaded all 64 bit drivers from the HP support site and installed all drivers. But for some reason, the AMDRadeon M330 graphics driver always is showing YELLOW EXCLAMATION when seen in device manager.
at the second time i tried to install intel graphics driver also as i am getting pop message with error "System doesn't meet minmium requarment", if there any bios setting please share all the steps with screen shots.

Case is separated between the black bottom portion and the silver top portion, near the left hinge and power button. Opening and closing the notebook prys these two sections of the case apart. The security cable slot no longer has thesilver metal part aligned with the slot. It is inside but has moved up and does not line up with the slot.

We have a HP Sleekbook touch.. windows 8.1
So this is the problem:
I turn on the laptop, and the blue "log-in" screen appears. No problems here. I login, and then it takes some time, AND the screen suddenly just stays black. Nothing happens, I can though see my mouse, and I can also open task manager, but nothing happens.
I tried to:
- Do a hard reset (nothing happened)
- Do this BIOS-thing (nothing happened)
Tried to do a factory reset, but I click on F11 when I turn the laptop, but the system manager does not appear.
What should I do?
