BLACK SCREEN ISSUE
THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN GETTING ON MY NERVES FOR WEEKS.
BLACK SCREEN ON WAKING FROM SLEEP WITH MOTOR RUNNING.
TRIED ALL EFFORTS TO SOLVE THIS WITH RELOADS DRIVERS HARD TESTS ALL OTHER TESTS AND STILL THE PROBLEM.
THEN I FOUND THIS
I LEFT THE LAPTOP ON A FLAT SURFACE AND OPENED BY USING THE RIGHT HAND CORNER AND THE MACHINE WAKES EVERY TIME.
I FIRMLY MOW THINK THIS IS A LID OR FLEX PROBLEM IN THE HARDWARE
THIS MACHINE IS ONLY 18 MONTHS OLD AND HAS HAD LITTLE HOME USE NOW OUT OF WARRENTY.
I HOPE YOU CAN ALL TRY THIS WITH YOUR MACHINS TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM IS A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM AND I HOPE HP WILL THEN GET THEIR FINGER OUT OF THEIR BEHIND AND ADDRESS THIS AS I THINK IT IS EASY TO HIDE BEHIND OTHER PROBLEMS OF THE BLACK SCREEN PROBLEM.
PLEASE TRY THIS METHOD WITH YOUR MACHINES IF YOU HAVE TRIED ALL OTHER METHODS AND LIKE THIS POST IF IT HELPS.

Resolution Problem

I had a broken screen and the I got it replced by an authorized HP service centre after the new screen was put it the resolution was something different. It was full HD earlier and so i asked them what to do and they asked me to download driver and as per their instuctions I did so . I downloaded 2 drivers(Grapichs and display ,Graphics) I successfuly installed the first one but saw no change and when i tried to install the second one it says that the the system doesnt satisfy minimum requirements .Now what will i do to get my resolution of 1920*1080 back. I tried in the screen resolutions and Graphic Properties, but it's just not happening......pls help me with a solution.

Reversed brightness on Windows 10 Home (HP 250 G3 with Intel N3540)

I have a problem with reveresed brightness on my HP 250 G3 with Intel N3540 running Windows 10 Home. The hardware brighntenss buttons as well as the system's one are reversed. Only after restart everything goes back to normal but only till the next shut down and start of the machine. I tired rolling back the dribvers even reinstall the OS but without any luck. I install drivers only throu HP Support Assistant. Intel graphics current driver I have installed is 10.18.10.4276. I know that Samsung already issued their own update regarding brightness on W10. I've read a few similar topics but nothing worked.

Laptop turns on, but screen is black.
When I turn my laptop on the cap locks key is lit, and I can hear it booting up. There is a blank screen. Someone please help!

Display Driver Nvidia gt520m not working
I can not install a new driver for this graphics card. When I install writes:"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.(Code 43).". photos turn black
I have Windows 8.1.
I am not sure when the problem starts, before 8.1 v. or after.
Please, I need advise.
My Photos Turn Black
When I open the folder, I can see them but, when I clck to open one photo, it shows for a part of the second and then turns black.
That does not happens to all the photos....
Another time, when I open the folder, with photos, they turns black one after another..
Is it damaged driver? ( I use Chrome)

HP split X2 won't power on- at all. Fully charged.
My hp split x2 won't turn on at all. When I plug it into the charger, the light comes on and it is white but when I press the power button, it won't turn on. When I hold the power button for a few seconds, the windows logo on the screen will turn on and as soon as I let go of the power button, the light goes back out. Also, when I unplug the charger and press and hold the power button, the charger light blinks white three times, and then the windows logo on the screen lights up.
I read in anot her post to try power and the hitting the escape button really fast, then repeat with F2, and F10. I had no response from either.
This computer has been nothing but trouble for me. I had to send it out once for reapir for a similar issue, when it was under warranty (it no longer is). The entire time I've had it it frequently acts laggy and is difficult to use, if not impossible. Then it will snap out of it and be perfect. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance to whoever is able to help me. I don't think I'll ever buy another HP product. I'm convinced that this is a parts issue and should have been replaced for free, when I started having all these issues.

Desktop Screen gets dim on battery power
I upgraded from 8.1 to windows 10 a few days after I purchased it. Everything works well. however, only on battery power when I return to the desktop the screen dims a bit. As soon as I open a window, the screen returns to full brightness (taking about 10 seconds). I just didn't notice if it did this with 8.1
Does anyone know if this is a Win 10 thing or something with the laptop.

Blackscreen of Death HP Probook 6470b
I was watching a Movie on VLC Player. Suddenly, my laptop got hang... So I press Ctrl+ALt+Del to achieve Task Manager. I press this likely 2 times. After that I got a notice of "Failure to security display" on a Black Screen. So hold the Power button to force shut down. After 10-15 minutes, I press the power button and laptop open/start but screen remain black, No cursor or logo instead complete black. It was running windows 8.1 pro. I tried to follow the tutorial I find regarding this to solve the problem. I disconnected all the Plug and remove Battery. And Hold power Button for a minute. Remove and Place the RAM 2/3 times. Uninstall the Display driver so many time even With Display Driver Unstaller Software. Tried : netsh reset or something like that. Tried Advance Recovery Method. Tried to update BIOS. After all this, I then install a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit. Then Do all the neccessary updates. Also tried the Above stuffs on Windows 7 also. 2 Weeks later, My Windows updated itself to Windows 10 Pro. I tried all the above stuffs again. But Failed. So I'm now connect a VGA cable with my Monitor to do my stuffs. Everything fine or as it is in Monitor display. By the way, I changed the Display Resolution Setting As per my Monitor Recommendation.
So that's every details of the problem and my trial. Looking for a solution. And am willing to donate few buck also if it works. Thanks

Hp-083tx game lagging issue
I bought this 2 weeks. My laptop spes are i3 5th gen, 4gb ram, 2 gb amd radeon R5 m330 graphics. While i plays games like watch dogs, Nfs run, First 20 min the is very smooth and after it start lagging and major drop in FPS. I updated my BIOS and all driver but it is still lagging. and i did everything to stop lagging but it is still lagging. please help me. I am afraid of it .Don't know what to do?

Hello
I have a Hp 4540s Laptop that recently update it to Windows 10 and now I have problem with my graphic card.
My Graphic card is Radeon 7650m. I think, in a Default way usually it runs games with normal quality and does not use full power and high quality that I need. I setting up all resolution and display setting in options inside the games but that is not enough.I want to introduce a Game or an app to AMD Catalyst Control Center to run it with high resolution & quality but i have no Idea where to introduce it.
I didn't had this problem in recent windows 8. I try to upgrade my drivers and widows, but I wasn't able to find proper upgrade.
I will appreciate you help me to solve my problem and guide me to fix it. If you need more information, please send me an email.

DV7 3048ca screen issues
I have a HP DV7 3048ca pavilion laptop that is acting up. The screen has lines running through it. While it does that I can partially see the windows recovery window but I cannot input password info or manipulate commands on the screen because it doesn't show the whole screen just bits and pieces of it. I tried a recovery and repair discs and nothing changes. So if I can't access the proper cues I can't initiate a hard drive test... sigh.... after loading the discs the screen shows its uploading files then it shuts down and fails to start. So do I need a new hard drive? and new video card? A new screen? All the above? tried tying the unit into a TV monitor via HDMI cable no video and a smaller desktop monitor with the same results... Need some serious wisdom here PLEASE! Previous to all this it ran fine just started slowly was using glary utilities and webroot to keep it running well./WC
