Recently I purchased the HP 15-AC025TX Notebook and downloaded all drivers for Windows 7 64-bit from the HP website (http://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-ac000-Notebook-PC-series/7771404/model/8326084#Z7_3054ICK0KGTE30AQO5O3KA30R1). I installed the Chipset drivers first and followed proper procedure and reboot for all device drivers.  I didn't receive any error mesage while extracting or instaling any of the device drivers.

 

But I am unable to install the graphics driver successfully. (I used the "AMD/Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver - sp71254.exe" for display.

 

I believe, either there is a hardware fault or the provided driver is buggy. Please help.

My brightness keys on my laptop isnt working. It stays with the brightness all the way up and am not able to reduce it at all. I can only use it for so long without my eyes starting to cry and my battery dies. Any ideas how to fix it?

Just got my third unit now - the two before it not standing flat on the table, because all the feet were not level. I installed everything, and after some time closed the lid. Computer goes to sleep as it should, and when i open the lid again it starts waking up, but the screen starts flickering. Not flickering an image or windows - just random colors. I've heard there are some driver problems, but updating all drivers doesn't seem to help. This happens just from sleep, not from start up, restart or hibernation. Weird.

 

Anyone else got this ? Or anybody have a suggestion for fixing this ?

I'm tired of laptops being **bleep** now-a-days. In the last year I've been through 4 Zenbooks and now 3 Spectres - all having problems. (luckily everything under warranty).

Hello

 

so my laptop has an integrated gpu the intel HD 4000 and the nvidia geforce 630M which is the one i use the most while playing some video games on my laptop . about a month ago all of the sudden i turned it on and it started making a loud buzzing noise coming from the fan and it didn't stop for the whole weekend and the fps dropped in all my games for example  GTA 5 from 40 fps to 10 / tera from 20 fps to 8 / league of legends from 100 fps to 40 ..... i knew it was because of overheating  i noticed that .

 

so i took it to hp customer service and they changed the fan  when i got it back the noise stopped they also gave me the old fan and i could see that it was indeed damaged but the fps problem didn't stop so i thought it was a software problem i wiped all nvidia drivers and reinstalled the latest version still no solution all this time i had win 10 so i did a factory reset to my laptop which got it back to windows 8 i installed the drivers again and still the same problem.

Shortly after  installing Win 10 my screen is too dark. I did a system restore to an earlier date and the screen brightened for a few days. It seems after system updates the screen once again darkened.

 

Is there a solution?

 

If not, how can I revert to Win 7?

I have a  HP 255 G3 Notebook  with Windows 7 (32-Bit) and I wanted to take pictures with web cam  but when I try I can't find it. Why?
How do I fix it?
Is there any drivers to install?

 

(I never used the web cam since I've this Notebook , because I don't have Skype, Whastapp, etc.  And I never needed to take pictures, etc. )

I had purchased HP Pavilion - 15z Touch Laptop in July month current year from hp store online.
Since september on right side of the screen I encountered few random flickerings initially, but day by day flickerings are increasing.
At one instant i found that when I'm moving my laptop screen towards me or backwards flickering starts only on the right side of the screen, small round shaped flickering happens vertically from top to bottom forming a straight line. It lasts for 4-5mins.

I have had this hp mini desktop for about 3 weeks and since plugging it in the screen glitches and goes black. I have tried to plug it in to another TV monitor, changed HDMI plugs, changed the screen resolution  and restrored it. Nothing has fixed he problem.  Please HELP!

My laptop(Windows 2000 bf69WM) has been flashing between a blue screen and whatever application I have open. The full screen is affected and I can't select anything during this time. I am able to get into task manager though and found 2 copies of windows explorer running, one taking up high disk usage, and the system using a lot of it. I am able to hard reset the computer, but I would like to get Windows 10. It only affects my computer after the 8.1 update(from 8 to 8.1) and before that it works fine, is there anything I can do?

My hp envy 23 allin one desktop has black screen. I was upgrading to windows 10 and the computer just went in to black screen.
When i turn it on, the light in the button comes on and fan starts but nothing happens.
I tried steps to recover bios. I tried changing RAM. I tried opening and cleaning, checked for any loose hardware. Disconnected all drives , but the screen is black with no sounds except fan keeps running and the light in power switchcomes on.
Please advise.

I have HP DM4-3022TX laptop beat edition . But when i install graphics software an window appeard telling failure occured during installation. There is a vew log botton an i clicked it and it is open in internet elxplore and i read it. It says that amd display driver status fail

I have my HP Pavilion hooked up to a External moniter (TV) and the screen is extended too much outside the tv's display

Hello,

My Laptop display always turns off then on in 2 seconds by itself, and it happens without me doing anything to trigger it.

it happens while working on some softwares like Adobe photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign but never happens during playing games.

also, a lot of times i meet these color pixles lines (in the picture, surrounded by red circle) , and sometimes it appears bigger. sometimes when the laptop is booting the HP logo appears as a square of these color pixels.

Please help.

Ive got a  hp 15-p264na laptop which has just been upgraded to windows 10 and I got a problem in that when I start up and go to the start screen it seems that I ve got to touch the touch pad in the wrong way and my short cuts seem to migrate to the 4 corners of the screen and the only way to get them back is to touch each one and move it manually back to where they started

        is there a way to fix the size and position of short cuts on this model ,although being able to expand print is great but chasing my short cuts over the screen is a pain

Good afternoon everyone.

I recently bought this fantastic laptop. It came with Windows 8.1 installed and when the free upgrade to WIndows 10 came around I jumped at the chance, I had no idea that doing so could cause such problems!

Basically since installing 10 I have had what appear to be compatability issues with the graphics card drivers. When using a web browser the page intermittently stutters and there is a slight delay before the PC responds again. SOmetimes I get an error message along the lines of "the graphics display has stopped responding and was re-set" or sometimes "........ has been blocked from using the graphics hardware". This seems to happen any browser, I've tried Chrome, Internet explorer/Edge, and firefox.

 

Is this a known compatability issue? I have made sure all relevant software is up to date (drivers etc) but nothing seems to work. 

Here is my hardware profile, I hope you guys can help. If there is no solution can I revert back to windows 8.1? (It's been more than a month since I upgraded).

Anyone have a solution to this problem: why does my HP Pavilion G6 with windows 10 screen not come on even when the power lights indicate that the power is on the computer.  I have not had this problem before and windows 10 has been running fine up to now. Thanks in advance.
