Hello Dear HP Users; I recently performed a clean re-insallation of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my Zbook-15, and now the NVIDIA K2100M Graphics Card, which is installed, is nowhere to be found! Furthermore, when I try downloading from the NVIDIA website and installing the latest driver for that card (a driver which had previously been working perfectly fine with the K2100M before re-installing the aforementioned OS), it now causes "the blue screen of death" to appear during reboot, and then everything goes dark. I've tried placing the graphics card setting in BIOS to "Hybrid" and "Auto", and tried placing the video setting to 256 and 512 MBs, all to no avail. Also, the card is not found in Device Manager, nor is it found while running a scan for new hardware. Is there anything that can be done to restore this graphics card back to its former working status? Thank you, Dear Friends, for any and all advice; Sincerely yours, Beverley.

Hp Envy 17 latest Intel display driver update for Windows 10 results in graphical glitches
I installed windows 10 on the above mentioned, running on intel hd graphics 4600 along with nvidia gt 740m and, and it was perfect until some updates came through for various devices, including intel hd graphics. The problems range from greyed out fonts in the notification panel and lockscreen clock, to darkened colours on many icons on the sart menu(mostly 3rd party apps). A few games like Need for speed rivals also present some before unseen display bugs.
Rolling back to an older driver solves the issue, but of course windows 10 forces updates so i'm unhappy. Please do something about it.

Whitescreening
Hey,
I have a laptop that I got in December (of 2014), and about two or three weeks ago, it started whitescreening. At first, it was just a flash from white then back to what my screen had been doing. Then, it decided to stay like that for a minute then go back. It did that twice, so by the third time I wasn't thinking much of it. But.. it didn't change back. (This was all the same night.) I was on Skype all three times, which I believe wasn't the cause because even when I wasn't in Skype, my computer continued to whitescreen. It has continued to do this for a while.
I don't know how to fix it... it happened sometime after September 5th... I'm just not sure when.
How can I fix this?

cannot watch a movie since update
hello
im having an issue streaming online movies
i can watch netfilx and sometimes couch tuner just fine
but whiile doing online streaming it repeatedly freezes
i did an update in or around feb or march of this year 2015 and havent been able to stream
a movie since.
can anyone help
i am running windows 10 but don't know what bit.

Unusual RAM consumption
Hello everyone,
I am wondering when I boot the PC, windows is loaded and no program is opened, why the consumption of RAM goes to 2.25GB! This causes the laptop go really slow when opening a web browser:
Is anyone facing this as well? It might be the video board that's consuming RAM isn't it?

Lost the keyboard icon at the bottom of the document page on my HP stream 8.
I created a table on a document on my HPstream 8 several weeks age. Have been putting new info in daily. Now the keyboard icon is no longer displayed at bottom of my screen, so I can't add anything. I don't know how to get it back. Or from where. I seem to have lost it after windows 10 was loaded. Have no idea if there is a relationship. Thanks for your interest and direction.

I have a HP 15 smart touch with windows 8 and I have a black screen and I have done all of the trouble shooting and I still only get a black screen. I have never had a laptop before and I got this to help with my college classes and it is not looking very promising. Please help.

Cyber Link YouCam not working?
Hi, my computer's pre-installed CyberLink YouCam isn't working. When I try to video chat with someone over Google Hangout, I can see them but they can't see me, though they can hear me. I don't see the YouCam in the device manager either, but the camera worked in the past. Please help, thanks.

HP EliteBook 840 G1, Windows 10, Hybrid Graphics, Slim dock does not transition
I've seen this issue on two separate HP EliteBook 840 G1 laptops now, it's the same build, but different methods of installing Windows 10.
The first was a straight 8.1 to 10 upgrade so there were a lot of variables to throw in there with preinstalled software/drivers and such.
The second is a 100% fresh build. Clean install of Windows 10 x64 Enterprise.
Installed each HP driver in recommended order.
Installed all Windows 10 updates.
I have 2 HP LV2311 monitors and an HP slim dock.
840 G1 has the AMD Radeon HD 8750M as well as the Intel HD graphics.
If I dock the laptop and power it on the 2 screens will work normally.
If I undock the laptop while powered on and open the lid the laptop's display will never come on. I've tried to put it to sleep and wake it up, it does not work. The only way to get the laptop screen to work is to do a complete shutdown by forcing the laptop's power off. Once it's off I can power it back on and the laptop's display works properly.
It works the same way the other way as well.
If I have the laptop display on and then dock the laptop, the dual displays never display anything. If I shut the lid without powering it down and put the laptop to sleep, the displays never turn on. If I wake it up, the displays to not function. Again the only solution to get the dual monitors to work once docked is to power the laptop down entirely and then turn the laptop back on.
The laptop, dock and graphics are obviously not working as intended.
Also the Intel HD graphics under the device manager on both laptops seems to sometimes check out with the yellow warning ! "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".
It does this on both laptops.
I am using all HP drivers directly from the HP support site as current as the date of this post.

I have HP Pavalion 11-n010dx, its lcd is damage and more painfull thing is that lcd is not available in pakistan even i contact hp service centre (Spectra Innovations) they also reply that lcd is not available. so is this mean that my note book is useless now?

Black Screen
Recently I've purchased a new HP Pavilion 17-G084CA laptop.
After 3 days of use, the laptop’s screen started periodically experiencing the following issue:
- In the midst of work with any software tool, the laptop's screen is turning black.
- Mouse cursor, icons or anything else cannot be seen on the screen, and the only possible way to return back to work is by restarting the computer.
- No reason or pattern for such behaviour of a new laptop could be identified.
Please help me to resolve the issue.
