Hello,
I have an HP Envy 15-j017cl with an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 with Windows 10 64-bit. Ever since I have upgraded to Windows 10 I can't play any of my games without them crashing and saying the driver for Windows 8.1 has failed. I have checked Windows Update for days and there still hasn't been an update for the graphics cards for Windows 10. Then, I tried to update the driver by going through Device Manager and still no success. Next, I tried to update the driver by going to the official Intel website but they don't have a .zip file, only .exe. I then ran the .exe and it said that I need a manufacturer driver. Finally, I went to the HP website, found my model PC, and installed the drivers. The installation failed and the message said "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obatin the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer." (I also tried updating my graphics driver through Intel Driver Update Utility).
So far I have a graphics card that doesn't work while HP is posting drivers for my computer that don't actually work. Can someone please help me find the drivers that I need. My opinion is that HP needs to post the correct drivers but I could be wrong.
Thanks for the help,
