Intel HD Graphics 4600

Hello,

I have an HP Envy 15-j017cl with an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 with Windows 10 64-bit. Ever since I have upgraded to Windows 10 I can't play any of my games without them crashing and saying the driver for Windows 8.1 has failed. I have checked Windows Update for days and there still hasn't been an update for the graphics cards for Windows 10. Then, I tried to update the driver by going through Device Manager and still no success. Next, I tried to update the driver by going to the official Intel website but they don't have a .zip file, only .exe. I then ran the .exe and it said that I need a manufacturer driver. Finally, I went to the HP website, found my model PC, and installed the drivers. The installation failed and the message said "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obatin the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer." (I also tried updating my graphics driver through Intel Driver Update Utility).

So far I have a graphics card that doesn't work while HP is posting drivers for my computer that don't actually work. Can someone please help me find the drivers that I need. My opinion is that HP needs to post the correct drivers but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the help,

yesterday when i started my laptop, its HP PAVILION n210tx ,it was working good, but suddenly it gets power off own its own BUT the battery was about 86% And suddenly itget power on own its own.

this time its a little sound like "TIK" comes from my laptop near my cd drive.

So I think that might be due to dirt inside the battery so i removed battery, and clean it then i pug it again

laptop start working again but

today when I started laptop it gets start as normal but again after some time it gets power off own its own, and get power on and this continues 4 - 5 times, during this process there is a message below hp that was "diagosing problem" something like that. then there is a option shown on mine screen that do u want to continue.

i press continue then again laptop start working well

And when after some time when i start my laptop i face the same problem but this time it dont even shows the screen.

laptop starts i entered my password and again it shuts down.

AND again power on own its own. and this time laptop even give chance to fill up my password and again get shut down and goes on cintinously.

then i think that it might be get solved by same process that i have already done by cleaning the battery

BUT i Forget to power off my laptop, and take out the battery.

And when again i power up my laptop,

fan start running, wifi light glows, power button light glows, CAPLOCK START BLINKING

MY LAPTOP START HEATING UP,

AND SCREEN REMAINS BLACK

I THOUGHT THAT IT MAY GET START AFTER SOME TIME BUT 20 MINS ARE GONE AND IT IS AS IT IS.

SO IF ANY BODY HAVE ANY SOLUTION, PLEASE REPLY.

I'LL BE VERY THANKFULL

I recently got the Windows 10 update on my HP ENVY m6 Notebook. Soon after the upgrade the touch screen started behaving strangely. Now I can use my finger as a mouse pointer and can only click on buttons and slide bar. I cannot scroll the screen or screen content by touching the middle of screen and moving my finger up or down or left or right. This was working perferctly before the upgrade. I tried to update the driver but could not see the Touch Screen option in HID in device manager. What should I do???

Dual Graphics Driver Issue

Everything was working fine untill today morning and Windows Update ruined it everything!

Previous it showed 2 drivers in the Display Adapter section

as - >>AMD Radeon HD 7620G+ AMD Radeon HD 8600M

and >>AMD Radeon HD 8600M

But after today morning when windows auto updated There ws just one driver AMD Radeon HD 7620G

and from that time, regardless of any driver i install it just shows the AMD Radeon HD 7620G in Display Adapters.

Even the options of Configure Switchable Graphics and Graphic Properties don't come when i right click

Its like the CCC just doesn't installs the drivers for the Dedicated GPU.

First of all here's what all i tried

1. Uninstalling the drivers from Device Manager and Reinstalling Drivers by Downloading from AMD's site. The catalyst version 15.7.1 and Driver version 15.200.1055.0 and Another Catalyst Software Suite containing the driver version 15.200.1062.1003

But.. None of them bring both the Display Adapters!

Some days ago i installed the Catalyst Software Suite with Driver version 15.200.1055.0 and i got both the Display Adapters Back.

2. I Downloaded the Display Drivers from HP's site, the package was something of 408Mb but still I'm stuck with the same Dumb AMD Radeon HD 7620G!

My Laptop Brightness is stuck on FULL no matter how much i uninstall/install drivers!

Please help me out!

Unable to switch graphics cards.

Hello,
So I have a HP Pavilion g4-1006tx which has two video cards, an Intel one and an Radeon one. When I first bought it it had Win7 Home Premium 64-bit. I had all drivers properly installed. I could switch between video cards using the option 'Configure switchable graphics' when I right-clicked on the desktop.
So a few months ago, i decided to upgrade to win8.1. But after upgrading I realized that it was giving me a lot of problems, like whenever I would install any sort of a graphic driver, my system would crash and I'd get blue screens. My graphic cards weren't even being shown in the device manager, so obviously I didn't even think about being able to switch between graphics cards.
So a couple days back, I decided to come back to Win7. I got Win7 ultimate and initially whenever I checked the device manager, it would say "Standard VGA Card" or something similar, I can't remember. After a lot of trouble I got my Intel graphics card to show on there and eventually also the Radeon one, after installing a driver that HP support assistant told me to and another driver that the AMD Autodetect tool told me to. Now whenever I right-click, I only see the AMD Catalyst control option. This is what I see whenever I open the catalyst control center..

Please tell me what to do, I just wanna start gaming again :/
Win7 Ultimate 64-bit
AMD Radeon HD 7400M series
Thanks in advance.

Login screen constantly flashing making me force to quickly login. Only then it stops

When I upgraded to Windows 10 I was happy for a short while until it started giving me a BSoD. No updated drivers will work to fix this so I had to sadly rollback to Windows 8.1. Once I did this, I restarted my laptop and my screen kept flashing over and over not letting me login. This is the only time it happens, and started doing this when I rollback from Windows 10. I should have never got this because my laptop is a few months new and once I did this it messed up everything.

How do I stop the login from flashing every time I boot it up? I updated the drivers and the requires update as well.

Windows 10 Update breaks radeon 4300 HDMI connection... Insider build 10162 worked OK ???

$

I have an HP Probook 4710s with an ATI Radion 4300 video card.   When I installed Windows 10 Insider build 10162 everything worked perfectly.   Specifically, I could connect to my TV via HDMI using "Windows" "P".

I recently upgraded to the latest supported build. I suspect that the video driver has been "updated".   Bottom line, I now cannot connect to my TV.   "Windows" "P" says "Your PC cannot project to another screen.   Try reinstalling the driver or using a different video card."

The hardware obviously works since everything worked under build 101762.   I'm not a technical guy, but it's gotta be the software (driver?).   So I'd simply like to replace the current driver with the one I had with build 10162, but I have no idea what I'm looking for.   The AMD site says HP (laptop manufacturer) is responsible for drivers.   (If I get this fixed I'll disable future Windows 10 attempts to update this.)   Can some one please point me to the *CORRECT* driver for my system?   (i.e. the driver I had in build 10162?)    Device Manager says it is an ATI Radeon HD 4300 series.  The current (problematic) driver is

Driver Provider:     Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.

         Driver Date:            7/15/2015

         Driver Version:      15.200.1060.0

Digital Signer:        Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher

Thank you for your help.   I would like to get my streaming TV back!   :-)   Regards, Brent.

PS an observation... this driver was released July 15.   Could it be that my install of Insider build 10162 happened to catch the previous driver (which worked)?   If so, all I think I need is the display drive available through July 14th.  :-)

Supplemental... I have recently discovered that this graphics card seems to be unsupported in Windows 10.   But the fact remains that this 'unsupported hardware' behaved perfectly well in the earlier Windows 10 build.   So, from my perspective, supported or not, it used to work, and I would like to recover that functionality.

Envy Laptop -HD 4600 Grahics hazy , not clear

I absolutely love this new laptop, except one thing, the graphics are terrible. The colour is off when looking on line at photos, they are miscoloured and pixely and not clear at all. Watching videos, the same video can one time be grainy and pixelated and another be almost fine.

Blacks look grey. I’ve done the calibration things it walks you through, but there is no way to do the colour part as the instructions are for a desk top monitor, not the laptop.. Please help me, I’d rather not return it since I’ve loaded it all up with my stuff…

Black screen, but hp logo is on

When I power up my laptop I get a black screen, the HP logo appears and looks like it is going to start up with the little dots circling on the bottom of screen. Then appears a screen with a sad face Smiley Sad that says"your pic ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you". Error code Oxc000021a. It goes back to the black screen with the hP logo and repeats itself. It doesn't sound like the fan is on either. Any suggestions please.

Just today, I can't view videos on FaceBook.  It keeps telling me I need to update Adobe Flash Player.... but when I try to do this, it tells me I have the latest version - which is 18.0.0.232 (debug version)

Videos seem to play on YouTube fine ... just not on FB.

I have an HP Pavilion running windows 8.1 and am using IE 11

Please help!

Thanks
Debbie
