Yesterday I updated to windows 10. After having done so I no longer possesed the power to change the brightness levels on the display and the display was constantly dim.
After updating to windows 10 I can no longer change the brightness level on my hp spectre x360

Video Drivers Not Working Under Win 10

I have a problem with my HP pavilion Dv6 3147ca laptop regarding its video drivers.
It has two video cards: ATI Radeon 4250 and ATI Radeon 5470.
Previously, I was running Windows 7 and the graphic drivers (from HP) worked flawlessly. However, after updating to Windows 10, my graphic drivers were not working.
I have tried to reinstall the video drivers from HP (perhalps the Win 7 drivers would work on Win 10) but it has failed. Moreover, I have also tried to install the drivers from the AMD website; but instead it resulted in an error: "No amd graphics driver installed or is not functioning properly. Please install the amd driver appropiate for your amd software". Also, I have also tried to install the drivers from the Windows Update (this was advised by HP) but after a restart the drivers has failed where in the device manager it said "Code #10 Device failed to start".
I have also tried to disable the integrated ATI 4250 and use only the 5470. I searched through the BIOS but had no graphics settings. I have also tried to disable it through device manager but after restarting the computer the screen turned small and had a low resolution (I have reenabled it to return it to its original state).
The video drivers I am using right now is the Microsoft Basic Display Drivers and its performance is not so great.
Please help me resolve this problem as I want to run Windows 10 on this laptop. I wouldn't want to spend another ~$500 to get another laptop just to run Windows 10

OS: win 7
I was playing battlefield bad company2 on this laptop and having some constant lag
I uninstalled the nvidia graphic card drivers and game was running without lag but after the installation of graphic card drivers it again giving up-down fps.
after that I installed again graphic card driver and checked everything while playing game
So I used HWinfo + rtss
and found , my core #1 is at 72% , #2 core is at 72%, #3 core is at 47 and #4 core is at 51%
Gpu D3D usages is at 3.4%
Gpu Core load is at 99%
Tell me what to do

Poor Quality Compaq LED
I am purchase HP DEsktop110 216ix from India. which is with Compaq LED.
after purchasing 2-3 month ,Compaq LED have dots and after few day the dots are spead. I call in call center. they send their engeenir. The Engineer come che LED and the told me that this fauld is LED. He take some snaps.
After 7 day there are no anser so i call again call center the represetative reply that this is not in our police. This is physical damage. However it is possible.
I call many time but the HP India's representative can't give us solution and not satishfide answer. they show only there policy.
I don't know why do this type cheat customer. very poor service after sales.
any one have solution please help me.

display problem
The display has become very low in resolution. It shows 1600x900 but dot size is large. The gradient colors and shades are not smooth. Everything is correct in device settings, but the dot size on screen is much larger. Latest driver is loaded. I have AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series.
Please help, I´m unable to work in photoshop and other photo related softwares.

Hp with Beats Audio "leaping sound" fixed
Hello, I found a way to the changing sound.
The lastest drivers does not solve this problem. The best way is uninstall Realtek HD audio drivers from our system, and restart system. And install nothing.
Like u see. Is not Hd audio and Beats Audio in my system now. And music play exellent now!!!!!

Touch screen no longer recognised after upgrade to windows 10
After upgrading to windows 10 the touch screen is no longer recognised. I have checked in the device manager and it is not listed as a device.
I have also checked for driver updates and installed all the missing drivers found.
Neither of these steps have worked.
The touch screen is working correctly at a hardware level as I have run the HP diagnostics which passed fine. The screen is recognising touch input, but it is not being handled correctly so none of the gestures etc are working. Also when touching the screen in IE, it just selects text instead of scrolling the screen as it should.
How do I go about getting the device to reinstall correctly.

Problem with AMD RADEON HD 6770 / Intel HD Graphics 3000

I have preinstalled in my notebook pavilion dv6-6050ew Windows 7 64 bit HomePrem. Few days ago i tried to do HP recovery because my system was really slow working. After doing this System works even worse, it's freezing and i almost can't use my dedicated graphic by AMD. Later i tried to reinstall Windows using pendrive to make a clean installation but every time i install graphics drivers (Intel + amd ) system just start freezing. I've been trying to install drivers from hp official website but the're not working. Can anyone help me pls ?

Pictures Showing up Empty
Hiya
I went to click on my pictures folder today and at first it shows up empty and with no documents in it. When It does finally load up it freezes and wont actually let me access the documents on there.

Can't adjust brightness/contrast
Dear all,
After a clean installation of Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium on my HP Pavilion dv6, I find that I can't adjust the brightness/contrast of the monitor. At first, I had a generic pnp monitor driver installed, but after reading a solution that recommends to uninstall it, I did, but to no avail. I have also tried installing HP Support Assistant, have scanned my laptop for outdated drivers and have installed the recommended drivers, but I am still faced with the same problem.
If you need me to provide any other details about my laptop, please let me know.

Install driver im win 10

In windows 8 and earlier versions all i had to do (for detect both VGAs and switch between them) was install amd driver because the amd driver witch was in hp's website has a embedded Intel driver
But in win8.1 i had to install both drivers because the amd driver hadn't intel driver embed
Now in win 10 size of amd driver that hp recommended in it's website is much bigger than the driver that is in the amd's website
Is This driver (hp's website recommend) has a intel driver embedded or i have to install both deivers?

Display error with Radeon during an installation
Not sure if this has been asked before..
was in the process of installing dreamweaver(to SSD) when all of a sudden the display went blank for second(flashed) returning to the installation with a pop up error (with warning sign)bottom right corner saying Radeon graphics error disabled, shortly folled by an error saying radeon graphics card resolved.
first time coming across so not sure if was a simply caused by the programme installing or is thier a potential issue with radeon graphics card, maybe needs to be re installed?
under bios graphic propertes have always been set to fixed.
Switched to intels power saving to be safe. Any idea why it's happening?

update:just noticed under device manager- Display adapters- only shows mobile intel (r) HD graphics. Pretty sure it's supposed to be showing 2 haha. Do i simply need to donwload the right update for my model as i recently also noticed after installing recommended by HPs new support my catalyst centre vanished.

Will HP eventually update all HP Envy Notebooks drivers in order to support Windows 10 2nd video?
Since the release of Windows 10 it has become clear (by numerous postings, here and elsewhere) that earlier HP Envy Notebooks do not have updated Windows 10 video drivers to support a second monitor (in my specific case it's an HP Envy 14 with the AMD Radeon HD 5000 series and Intel HD Graphics).
It is understandable that these older notebooks are not at the top of the priority list. Even so, they were marketed and sold as a premium notebook with out-of-the-ordinary support by HP so I would expect that HP will eventually support their customers.
I think we're all willing to wait our turn and understand the delay, but it would be really helpful if we only knew that help was on the way.

Envy27 screen time out
I have set and reset (in Windows 10) the screen time out to 15 min, 30 min. etc. It does not matter what the time setting is. After about 1 min the screen shuts down. It is getting tedious to constantly have to re log in. Any one have a suggestion?

Service Registration and Display problems
I upgraded my computer from Win 7 Premium to Win 10 7/29/15. Everything went smooth until a week ago that I started having problems with the screen display.
1-All pages doesn't show the information on the top, like,minimized,enlarge,delete (x) icons.
2-At the bottom it shows around 15 thin lines horizontaly.
3-O n some pages the fonts are really small.
4-The pages keep moving (shaking)
5-Today I went to Windows Troubleshooter and stopped because states that "Service Registration is missing or corrupt'" The OS 7 came with the machine,and how come If I downloaded win 10 with no problem because is legit.
What I haven't done. Updates are ok as of today. I checked the display driver, and is up date.
Please do not send me to Windows Support, because is hard to believe that here there are no solutions available for Win 10 problems.
I read some solutions in this forum but no luck.
PLEASE HELP!!! Iforgot to backup Win 7 when I upgraded to WIn 10

windows 10 drivers for the amd radaon hd 6520g dv6 causing blue screen
Does anyone know when we can expect the drivers for the amd radaon hd 6520g card in the Hp pavilion DV6 to be updated to a windows 10 veriosn. Presently we are force to use beta version of the AMD Catalyst 15.6 Beta Driver for Win 8.1 because the 15.7.1 version will not allow any videos to play in windows 10 as the HP web site http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Display-and-Video/Windows-10-videos-will-not-play/td-p/5174193 verifies. The beta version does allow video to run in windows 10 but because was designed of windows 8.1 it is contributing to very slow load times and numerous freeze ups in windows 10.and what is every more considering is that is causing blue screens which required a reboot to clear.

Graphics Card problem
imedeately i upgraded to windows 10 pro 64bit i could not drive my graphics card my processcor is a 5th generation i7 processor i downloaded a driver for my vedio card on hp site it threw an erro that said
That your system dose not meet the minimum requirement for installing this software what should i do pls help
