I have an HP Pavilion zv5000 and I recently installed windows 7 as my OS. The original OS was Windows xp. Since I installed windows 7 the s-video that I use to connect to my tv will no longer work nor does my cd/dvd player on my laptop. Is there a way to reinstall the original XP back on the laptop? There was no recovery disk that came with the laptop. Or is there any drivers That I can download to Make the s-video work using Windows 7? Any help will be much appreciated.

display going black for a second and coming back right after that
2 weeks after I bought the HP Pavilion 15-p206tx Notebook laptop. I noticed that the screen has been going black for a second and then coming back on while the programs are still running at the background. Like when you watch something, you can see the video glitch. At first I thought it was the video problem or something, but then while browsing it happened again. It doesn't happy spontaneously but after a span of 2-3 hrs mostly and i thought may be the drivers were not up to date or something but i checked. Everything was up to date. I even did a BIOS update, it happened again. Recently one of the onsite engineers changed the display, thinking that could be the problem. But even after that it still happens. Now I'm guessing it's the graphic card. Its really weird, its just been like a month I've bought it and I'm already facing all these problems. Please help me find a solution.

My HP Compaq 6730b changes its resolution on its own, and that makes the computer almost impossible to use. I've tried all drivers and Windows 7, 8 and Vista (currently running Vista). The resolution changes from 800x600 to 1680x1050, and when it does the insert/eject sound plays. I don't know what to do next? What can i do to stop this?

Wrong Dedicated video memory on pavilion 238tx

Radeon(TM) HD 7670M (Code 43)
Finally after 6 months of trying to figure out this problem, I have come to the experts to attempt to fix this. Over the past 6-9 months my computer has had this issue. My Radeon card has been coming up in my Device Manager with a error, that windows is stopping the device because it has reported problems ( Code 43 ). I have tried hours and hours on end to fix this problem. The Intel HD Graphics 4000 works perfectly fine, but my Radeon card isnt working at all. Although this is true, I did have it working up until I did a factory restore on my computer. This I believe has caused the issues that I am having today. Every since then, this card has had issues. I have searched on fourms and across the internet to try to find an answer to my problem ! Please help ! I cannot stand my computer being held back from what I paid for it to do !

2nd Monitor is not recognized on docking station
Good Morning HP Supporters
I have a problem with a recently bought Notebook of a customer. A few day's ago, his 2nd monitor (both HP 19" 4:3 LCD Displays) started to not get recognized any more on his docking station. We switched the monitor, the docking station and at last the notebook (he had an older type of HP Elitebook) to a Probook 650 G1. Still no luck.
Funny, as both monitors work correctly on another docking station of the same kind, but not with the new Probook or even the older Elitebook. I installed all drivers from the HP Site and updated BIOS of both notebooks.
The 2nd monitor is not shown by any control center (Windows, Intel or AMD). I disabled switchable Graphics for testing and it did not help. I updated graphic drivers (I could only install those from HP because Intel- and AMD-Installer said they are OEM Products).
It worked before and stopped working a few days ago. What could this problems solution be? I'm glad for your answers.
Update: I forgot to tell that 1 monitor is connected with DVI and 1 is connected with VGA.

Layers forming in Display
I don't know if this thing has recieved much attention of people with machines but this is really strange to happen, the display in my laptop is showing different bright layers.
Due to lack of my problem explaining skills, I'm posting screenshots of Grid 2 that are showing very visible layers below:
If you look closely in the images inside the red boundary, you'll notice different 'garbled' type bright layers forming which are messing up the display, these layers are also present when the laptop is turned off. It doesn't seem much noticeable in the images above but it is much to be noticed in real.
This did not occur until one day I decided to do something really stupid which is get the battery out of the laptop and run it on AC Adapter power just for 2-3 minutes, I know this is really stupid to do but I just wanted to see how it is.
Should I be worried about this? Is there a way to fix this? Is something internally damaged? Because I don't want to live with these layers on my display. This is a brand new laptop, It has just been a month and half since I bought it.

No screen saver --- white screen only
I have a problem with my screen saver. My monitor turns all white and no screen saver. I tryed to change screen savers many times --- the same problem. It is very difficult to go from this white screen to my desktop --- I must click with my mouse many times and push ESC many times. Tochscreen does not work when this white screen appears. Yesterday, my laptop showed me a blue screen after I pushed ESC. Please help. I have HP 15 TS Notebook.

garbled screen in bios and in windows
Hi I have a pavillion dv9655ea laptop which had vista installed on it from factory. I decided I would upgrade it to windows 7 ultimate. Everything was fine until I started installing drivers and I believe it was the graphics driver that messed me up.
I now have 256 colours and lines and blocks on my screen and cannot do anything about it. I managed to flash my bios thinking it was a bios issue but no of course not. I have tried reinstalling graphics drivers to no success.7
Can anyone please help me with this issue else its in the bin.

HP Pavilion Touchsmart screen is gradient, Grainy, and Fuzzy. Help!
Okay, so I absolutely love my HP.. But, the only thing is, My screen is discolored and grainy. It happened not too long ago.. Also, at the top of the page it has a gray line that contrasts from different color grays. Also, another bar above it that's black and blue. I put a screenshot below if it helps. Wallpaper won't save
Whenever I attempt to save a background/wallpaper to my screen,m It will only ever stay for 10 - 15 minutes then go straight to black. This happens alongside an error in the bottom right of screen, claiming that my copy of windows is not genuine. Everything else is fine, I can change sounds, window colors, and basically everything besides the background. It feels as if someone has been tampering with it. Whenever I try to activate my product key online, it says the microsoft has blocked my product key. Anything will help.

Omen Pro, HDMI doesn't worlk
On none of the new Omen Pro we bought the HDMI-port works. Neither direct on the PC, nor via a 3005pr USB Port Replicator. Best guess is drivers.
I have made a full factory reset, and installed all the drivers using the Recovery Tool, and updated using HP Support tool.
But nothing ...
Also tried Win 8.1 Enterprise, same same.
Any ideas?
