elitebook 8540w external vga display
i connected an external vga display to my w8.1 x64 elitebook 8540w, but it doesnt work. The Hp displayport workst fine. I dont think the vga is damaged because the mainboard has recently been changed.
Can it be a driverproblem? If so, which driver should i use or how should i configure it?

Factory resetted HP Envy 17t-3200 CTO and unable to install graphics drivers (Windows 7, AMD 7850M)
So I have been beating my brains out with how difficult it has been to install a simple graphics driver so I can get the 7850M to start working again as the system keeps defaulting to the Integrated Graphics.
I have only done the installation from HP's website and it simply doesn't seem to work. I always end up with BSOD.
The AMD graphics card IS recognized by the system in Device Manager; however, I don't have that "Catalyst" app or "Switchable Graphics App" that I had before I did the factory reset.
Please help!
I've searched the forum for info; however, I wasn't able to understand too well just what I needed to do exactly.

HP Pavillion g7 not able support aero
I am having a problem of green screens occuring using the machine just recently. WIth the latest upgrade on Windows 7 it automatically installed Aero onto my computer which it cannot handel. How do I turn off AERO. and get rid of the green screens which happen on and off.
When AERO is off I have a beautiful screen and monitor so it is not a monitor problem, but a graphics driver one.
I have installed a Intel(r) HD Graphics Family, Resolution: 1600 X 900, Refresh rate 60 graphics driver.
THis graphics driver will not support Aero,
I have a problem with AERO, from windows installing itself again and again on my computer.

Hp hdx 16 screen problem
Randomly the laptop will just freeze and show a random color usually black or blue on the screen and it usually happens if I watch Netflix or I'm opening a game. I have no clue why this happens and I need help

Laptop Problems
My screen is not working. Its a white screen with faint black lines across the screen. I can hear it running but the screen stays white. Basically I can't see anything. The system can be turned off and on but that's it. It was working earlier today. I need help. Please tell me what's wrong with my laptop and if there is something I can do to fix it.

Pavilion dv6-6c53cl Upgrade Graphics Processor
I have recently purchased GTA 5 for my laptop and it is saying the computer does not meet the minimum requirement for the game. I have looked over everything and it seems to be the GPU which is not meeting the requirement. I was wondering if there was a way to update the drivers to make it work and if not is it possible for me to upgrade the GPU on my own? input would be greatly appreciated.

Strange mark on LCD Screen
Hi everyone!
Even this is my first post in this forum, I solved many problems on my computer by using this website. However, I cannot solve the problem that I just encountered on my LCD.
I have HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14 PC. It's one year old and it has two years of guarantee. I'm happy with this computer until last week I saw a strange mark on my LCD screen. Since it was very small I did not do anything else. However, today I realized that it's getting bigger.
Here is the mark,
I made some researches on the internet but I could not find any information about this strange mark. Maybe it's because of some kind of liquid leakage. If I send this to the place I blought do I have any chance to repair it or change it with another pc?
It would be awesome if you can help. I really like my computer.

n259tx brightness key is not working
Hi,
After getting the windows update my laptop's brightness key (F2 + F3) is not functioning. I am not able to increase on decrease the brightness of the laptop. Please get the solution because my brightness is set to very high and not able to work in this bright light.

Green screen while watching videos
Every time I go to watch a video, movie, or other type of video media the screen of said video is totally green. Audio is still able to be heard, and other features in the app, web page or site are all still accessible but the video cannot be seen due to the green screen. Help.

x360 11 touchscreen stopped working
Hello, I bought a notebook hp pavilion x360 11 n011dx, formatted and installed windows 8.1 pro 64 (In Portuguese Brazil) everything worked perfectly just the touchscreen it stopped. I've tried to format and install windows 8 enterprise 64, did not work, installed the drivers hp site and not getting success, I can not do the restoration because the deleted partition to install system
ps: in the bios (memory test and hard disk) the touchscreen works.

problem with video graphics
good day
please recently formatted my system and went to the HP driver site to download drivers and I download the Nvidia video graphics but during installation it gave an error message of "installation stopped couldn't find the required hardware'"
then also I went back to the site and download the newer intel graphic version and it said "system does not have the minimum requirement"
Please how can I rectify this issue?

HP 8710w graphic glitches on cold boot
Hi all
I've noticed lately when cold boot my laptop first thing in the morning, there are graphic glitches all over the screen.
After successfully reboot the laptop, the graphic glitches are gone.
It only happened when I started up the laptop for the first time on that day.
What kind of issue is that? Hope it isn't the graphic chipset on its way out?

m880g with ati 4250 and 5470
hello ... i have hp g62 b15sv i have no problem using windows 7 but on windows 8 and 8.1 the gpu drivers dont work right.my lap top have m880g with 4250 and 5470..when i install the drivers from tthe support page only the 4250 is working (witch is horrible) and when i install later versions of catalyct control center im getting blue screens .. some how i manage to make the 5470 work but i dont even remember how..now im wondering when i moove to windows 10 il have the same problems and if il do how am i goin to solve it

Hp g60 screen blinking
My screen has been blinking like its the task bar mostly..it blinks real quick...i also had this problem before and then my hard drive died... now i am getting it again..want to know is it because my laptop gets heat or my hard drive has a failure or just graphic problem.. !!
