Unable to install latest graphics driver
I just got this new laptop and came to HP to update the graphics driver after Intel's driver utility said to do so due to compatability.
So I put my laptop's code in, HP Notebook - 15-f162dx, it gives me Intel High Definition (HD) Graphics Driver to download. I download it, extract the files and when it goes to run the installer, I get an error box with no words on it. Just a red x and an 'ok' button.
I tried running the installer from the folder it extracted itself to, I've uninstalled my drivers and attempted to install that way and every time I run step up. I get the error box with no messages on it.
Any idea what the problem could be?

HP G62 - Lost backlight after screen replacement
My son dropped his laptop and shattered the screen (backlight was working). I bought a replacement screen and installed. I turned on the laptop prior to re-assembling to make sure it was working....everything was working beautifully. I re-assembled...turned on the computer and no back light (imagines on the screen visible with a flashlight). Took apart again, reseated all the cables...cannot get the backlight working. Sent the screen back and got a new...still no back light. The inverter comes with the screen (installed on the back under plastic that says DO NOT OPEN). Not sure if the display cable is bad or something else. Don't want to keep buying things without a good idea of what's wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

DOWNLOAD LATEST DRIVER FOR VIDEO CARD
I recently ran DriverUpdate and since then I have had major problems with playing my games (not online just Big Fish Games). The video cut scenes will not run and game play and cursor is slow and jerky. Before updating everything was working fine !! I contacted Driver Update who remotely accessed my computer and advised everything was running as it should. On going to Big Fish I was advised to download the latest driver for me video card so came to HP and am gobsmacked by the amount of stuff to trawl through - I put in my product details and it came up with 9 different downloads and I haven't a clue which to install. I tried the "detect your product" screen and it would not download - screeen just remained blank and I could not access the manual install. I have cleaned up everything on my laptop from my end and even deleted a couple of things that somehow appeared after I ran DriverUpdate - I even reverted back to the restore point created before doing the DriverUpdate and still my games are not working correctly. I am not very technically savvy and am really struggling to find the solution. The video card driver Version is 8.882.2.0 date 9/8/2011. Any help would be very much appreciated.

laptop monitor does not support hdcp
when ever I watch movies through Itunes I cannot watch in HD even though I bought HD video. that is because driver does not support it. HDCP does not work through hdmi or laptop monitor. so, I looked at the monitor driver, and it is just a generic monitor driver from microsoft. I need an actual driver, where do I find one?

HOW DO I GET THE GREEN SCREEN OFF. I CAN'T WATCH ANY VIDEOS.

I am using a HP 4540s Probook and it worked just fine. But from 2 days ago i am noticing that the screen flickers when i move the lid of the laptop. Display is totally Fine in certain positions but when i close the or move the lid, White horizontal lines appear on the screen.
This certainly is the problem with harware so i wanted to ask that what is causing this to happen, loose / worn out cables or is it a problem with the LCD ?
And secondly will this problem intensify if I keep on using the laptop without any repairs or it will stay the same way a it is ?
Please answers my questions as it will be a lot of help to me

I own a HP Pavilion g6 2330 se. It has 8GB of RAM, 2GB radeon graphics card, and Intel i7 3rd gen processor. It is a relatively new model and I have purchased it a year back. The problem I am facing is when I play any game. These games do not demand high graphics performances and used to run perfectly on the same laptop. Since a month back, whenever I try to play these games, they work for the first 5 mins and then start lagging. The laptop fan makes alot of sound and it heats up alot very quickly. All my graphics drivers are upto date. What do you think the problem could be and how would I fix it?

I can not see images on a HDMI TV connected my laptop Displayport
Dear all,
I need to connect the laptop to a HDMI TV and therefore I purchased a HP Display port to HDMI cable adapter P/N: 612873. It is not working.
I phoned HP service, they recommend to me to download the HP Softpaq download manager and update my laptop.
After doing this, still I can not see images on the TV.
I know the TV is working, because other laptops like Asus, Toshiba are connected to the TV and works fine.
Does anybody know what should I do?

Computer is not playing DVD's
Hi,
When I put a DVD into my laptop it does not recongise it or play it. If I click on the DVD when it appears on 'devices and drives it opens it as a file but does not play it.

probook 450 g2 not displaying
probook 450 g2 will power up once ac is connected , cap lock led is constantly on, the cpu produces heat but fan will not run and charger led continuosly blinking

Hp Stream 11 Black Screen
I have an Hp stream 11 laptop and I was going to use it this morning I never turn it off I just close it and when I opened it the screen is black the power button is on everything else is ok except the screen and i just got the screen replaced and it was working fine and now idk what happened and I'm scared that I have to replace it again.
