How come i am not getting full HD when streaming content such as youtube, netflix, google movie etc...? On youtube the best it will do is 720p. Anyone have any idea why?

HP ENVY TouchSmart 17-j017cl Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)-TOUCHSCREEN DOES NOT Work
My laptop is barely used. I had some updates come through, and my touch screen will not work. I have tried EVERYTHING that I can find on the internet to fix it. Pen and Tablet setting is active... It had a day when a messege poped up about some hardware.. but nw I can't find any record of it in the messages. Can anyone help me. I am begining to fee like this laptop was an 800 dollar mistake.

HP pavilion g6. stopped responding card
Bought powerful expensive laptop. Everyone was happy. But then the video card stopped responding. He went into the device manager. There should be two video cards
Intel RD (it all okay, the first weak graphics card)
ATI Radeon 7670m (the one that is missing)
Instead ATI Radeon 7670m I had the inscription standard vga graphics adapter.
Tried to download the driver using a variety of programs to search for and detect drivers to search for drivers ID - nothing helps. Maybe there is not sought, if that equipment ID:

Laptop not starting
My laptop is suddenly not starting,,I used it 2 days ago,Then it was alright.but now it is not starting up... Power button shows light.bluetooth button also shows a red light.Caps lock button shows blue light off & on .. Monitor shows nothing.there is no sound,no air is coming out.. help me.. please

Updated drivers for intell graphics 4000
I am trying to get OEM (HP) updated graphics drivers for the Intel graphics 4000. Paid money to play a game on my laptop,and had no problem until they came out with a new updated version. Now the game crashes when it gets to checking graphics settings? The games tech support people said I need the new Intel graphics driver. when I try to update the driver from Intel, it tells me that i have an OEM driver and to check with the manufacture (HP) for an updated driver.
HP's latest driver is dated 09/2013 intel's latest driver is dated 01/2015 and there have been 2 updates since 2013. Is HP going to put out an updated intel graphics 4000 driver, Please tell me how to override OEM and update from Intel??

Please help me with a Dv7 6140eo laptop
Hello everyone,this is my first post here since i'm extremly desperate to find an answer to my problem.My laptop is a HP DV-7 6140eo with switchable graphics one is Intel HD 3000 and the other one is ATI 6770m.So first i had 8.1 OS...a few days ago i was watching some online movies from an website,when suddenly i noticed that my laptop started to act really slow especially in games so i runned a scan with 2 different antiviruses and both of them found a lot of viruses,malwares and trojans(those websites from where i was watching movies).Being unable to solve the problem with the antiviruses the only solution was formating.I installed windows 7 and now my problem starts.When i installed windows 7 i noticed that the problem wasn't gone,the performance of my ATI 6770m was the same as in windows 8.1 when it was virused and the "Configure Switchable Graphics"was gone from desktop right click.I took the lastest drivers for it but when i installed them my desktop didn't respond anymore and it also took a lot of time for windows to load where it says "Welcome".Again i installed windows 8.1,all drivers to the date and on this OS i could press "Configure switchable graphics" but in avail,even if i select the 6770m card the performance was the same as Intel HD 3000.After searching thousands of threads on the internet i decided to take an advice from a member of HP forum website and installed windows 7 again with SP1 the first one was without it and at this date i'm still on it,i can install all the drivers from the HP website for my laptop model but not the video card,in the device manager it says Standard Video Graphic Adapter and in description it says "this device cannot start" code 10,but the other one works wonders(Intel HD 3000).I managed to install it once but had to uninstall it because i recieve black screen after windows loads up,also i noticed that the Intel HD 3000 drivers were uninstalled aswell.And from this point i'm clueless i don't know if it's the video card or the drivers and i'm thinking that i have to format all the partitons because when i formated the first time i did it only on C:/ and i guess i have some malwares or viruses on my D:/ parition aswell.I hope you can help me with this one and i'm extremly sorry for my bad english !

Pavilion dv6 a5f76av w/ NVidia 650m 4k Display Support
Have searched HP documentation and the web but, no specific answer to my question. That is, will this laptop support 4k displays? According to NVida's spec sheet, the 650m supports 3840x2160, 2048x1536 in VGA. And I assume the higher resolution is for HDMI 2.0. The HP Maintenance and service guide says HDMI 1.4a but, it only refers to a Radeon graphics card. Nowhere on the laptap can I find a reference to the HDMI version. Your thoughts please.

RESOLVED --- Upgraded RAM stick, screen won't boot with either stick now
Hello,
We use a HP EliteBook 8540w WorkStation w/ Energy Star, and I updated the memory on it to a Corsair 8gb stick (product # CMS08GX3M1A333C9) and after installing the memory, and rebooting the system, the screen would not display anything. I removed teh 8gb stick and replaced it with the old stick to see if that would resolve the issue, but upon restarting the system, I got the same response from the display.
Please help ASAP, this particular unit is my bosses, and I need to resolve this issue quickly.

blue film
I have a HP Pavilion DV7-4165DX. I recently dissassemble the laptop and replaced the palmrest, re-connected all the connections and restart the laptop. But then there seem to be a transparent blue screen over everything.
Let me make this clearly. I can still see everything and use the PC, no problem, but the a "blue film seem to cover the whole screen so I see everything in blue. but nothing outta place, no distortion on the screen, black spots, just color blue in addition to it's normal colors.
I dunno what is the issue that is causing this, I'm pretty sure everything is well taken care of when I dissassemble and assemble the laptop, no damages to the part, maybe a bad connection? I wonder what the problem is and how to repair it, please help.

! Have uninstalled drivers performed safe boot and installed graphic drivers still no go.
Have been wasting my time doing this over and over again due to this there's a new heating issue which I noticed on vga port which goes to the projector becomes extremely hot and system turns off.
Could you please give me resolution asap.

screen goes in and out
I have a HP 2000 2d24DX (Energy Star) Last week the screen went black. As I really looked at it I could just came out the home page. After doing some research it seemed the inverter was out – only to discover this laptop does not have an inverter and needed the whole screen replaced. Ordered a new screen and replaced it. Everything looked good, had a good display and the web cam worked. The last night when I started it up the screen came up and then I moved it went out. If I picked it up and sat it back down in my lap the screen would flicker on for just a second and go back black. I thought maybe I have not gotten things connected well, so today I took it all back apart and made sure it was connected well. Turned it on and the screen came up great. The as soon as I moved the laptop the screen went away again. I can move the screen and it will flicker in and out. At one point I got it back in and left it sitting. The screen stayed up for a few minutes and then it went out again without any movement. Please help.
