Black desktop screen
Hello,
About half hour ago I restarted my computer, it booted up as it should and the log in screen was visible. I logged into one of two of my accounts and then it began the process of loading. After a few seconds (maybe 20) of loading, the screen just goes black and my desktop is not accessible. I am able to CTRL ALT DEL and access my task manager. Also I would like to point out once I click restart computer on the CTRL ALT DEL screen, for a brief moment before the computer shuts down my desktop is visible.
I have no idea what the issue could be. I have tried hard reset/unplugging and removing the battery but this doesn't seem to work. I have checked the second account and this still happens. Please can somebody help ASAP as I need this laptop for work. Thanks

random black screen issues
Hi i have an HP pavilion dv7 running windows 7 and the screen has started to turn on and off by itself. sometimes it just flickers off then right back on but usually the screen goes black with no back lighting, the computer stays on, and media continues playing in the background like normal. i can use the system if i have an external monitor attached and set as the main screen. i can still move windows and programs to and from the laptop screen, if set up in an extented window settings when the laptop screen is black. any help on how to fix this would be welcome.

How do I rotate video on Windows Media player? Somehow it has been turned at least 90 degrees and I cannot find a way to rotate it back to upright.

Last week my notebooks VGA port stopped working. I am not able to connect it to any other device on VGA port. HDMI port works fine and can be connected.

Green image 3d games graphic
Hi,
I just bought hp envy x2 11 pc, Product number: C0U47EA#ABU. and I installed some games. however i found problems in 3d graphic games in asphlat 8. it shows green image below. I downloaded and updated the graphic drivers (sp63677) and bios (sp69946). but it does not work.
is there anyone can help me?

Black screen as soon as you turn it on, never displays
My laptop boots up - the power light goes on and the fingerprint login light flashes - but at no time does the screen change from black so that I can access the computer. I swipe my finger over the log-in fingerprint light and it stops flashing, but nothing else changes. I've tried Control Alt Del, but I never get the task manager, the screen remains black. This occured after the computer was in sleep mode. There has been some damage to the screen, but it has never been black like this before.

My webcam doesn't work
I have the hp stream 13 for couple days now. The first time I skyped the webcam worked. Now when I try to access the camera it says "to get started connect camera". And so when I try to skype there is no video icon. Under imaging devices I see "hd truevison hd" and when I click on it it says it's not connected. So annoying and frustrating because I just bought this laptop! Someone please help me out?!

hp envy 15-j160no with 144hz monitor?
Hello! Currently I have an Hp envy 15-j160no. I want to buy a 144hz monitor to it. I have heard that 144hz only work if you plug it in dvi, display port or HDMI v1.4, is that right? The only video-output I have in my computer is HDMI. So how do I know what version of HDMI I have? And is it even possible for me to benefit from a 144hz monitor?

Temperature on laptops
Hello , i have a question. I just got laptop HP15r071sw and i have a question about playing on laptops. While playing for example League of Legends the temperature of CPU and GPU is 70Celsius and sometimes higher and the main board is about 65Celsius , is it normal that it get so high temp ? I saw on Intel site that the highest temp for i54210 is 100Celsius and is it the temp that cpu may broke or it may get broke even on lowers temp's ? And what is the best program to check temperature of laptop while playing a game ? I use Advanced System Care for win8 at this moment but I am not sure if it checks it right .

Screen gone crazy (pink lines+ flickering)
I was playing dota2 and suddenly screen went bad for no reason at all, what I saw is massive horizontal pink lines with some green highlights too and everything looks like its moving up and down in super speed. Its like watching a 3d movie without 3d glasses but worse. This problem is there on boot screen also not just on windows login.
I am clueless cause both gpu's seem to be detected as working in device manager and i never rough used my laptop or even removed those plastic cover it came with.
I need to get this fixed fast, what do I do? I doubt long hours of keeping the laptop running can cause this! Can it? All i do is email and small ms office.
List of things i tried:
Restarted, updated AMD drivers chipset since my card is AMD, disabled Intel and AMD gpu one by one and restarted.
I am clueless cause both gpu's seem to be detected as working in device manager and i never rough used my laptop or even removed those plastic cover it came with.
I need to get this fixed fast, what do I do? I doubt long hours of keeping the laptop running can cause this! Can it? All i do is email and small ms office.

Black Screen with Power
My screen randomly went black so I tried turning laptop off and on. The power works but the screen is still black. The power button, WiFi button, and charging lights work but the caps lock button light does not.<br><br>I am trying to avoid doing a complete reset because I don't want to lose my files.

Screen Flickering when plugging in charger
Hi. I've been facing this issue since long. My Pavilion dv6-7039tx screen flickers once when I plug in the charger. And then goes back to normal. The same happens when I plug out the charger. Please help me, it's very annoying.

I want to add two external displays to my Notebook (350 G1). It has an HDMI and VGI Port. Is there anythink I need to do to my laptop so it can manage the two displays? I am using Windows 7. I don't want to buy a second external display and then find out it doesn't work. Thanks!
