Helloeveryone.I have aproblemon my laptop.When Iupgradedthe biosandsuccessfully installedthelaptop  rebootedbut the screenstayed blackwhile everything elseseemed to beworking normally.I triedto connect an externalmonitorto theVGA outputon theexternal displayI'vegota normal imageand thewindowsareraisednormally.

 

I tried to get back into BIOS setup by default but i still do not get a picture on the screen of the laptop.

 

If someone had a similar problem or can help in solving this problem, I would be very grateful.

I tried fixing the cable and everything but nothing could help! All they say was no signal and my below indicated there was only green light not the light blue color! Help pls!!!

I have an HP 625 laptop that is three years old. A few months ago I dropped it and broke the screen. Not a big problem -- I just hooked it to the TV with an HDMI cable or to the monitor on my desktop with a VGA cable.

 

This worked fine until today, when it started crashing. Through the broken screen I could tell that it wanted to give me a message, but I couldn't read it was since whatever the error was disabled the external VGA and HDMI signals.

 

I think I can fix the crashiness problem if I can get into Safe Mode, but Safe Mode won't send signal to the external mnoitor or to the HDMI so I can see what to do.

 

Any advice?

hp ENVY 15 running 64 bit W7.  Last night, closed cover and stored away.

This AM, no mobile PC display, only aux via hdmi.  Same on reboot.  When

W7 boots, brief display on laptop, then blank, leaving only aux screen.

 

Noted that pulling hdmi aux display allows main laptop display to work.

Hi

 

I'm using Notebook 15 r015tu running win 8. I'm facing some prblm in display. Currently my system running with basic display adaptor in which the brightness controllers are not working and the display is extremly irritating for eyes more over the quality is also not good. Please help me out of this.

Sir, I'm using Hp 15r033tx. Which i bought on 3rd Nov 2014.  The features which shows in Hp website is all available, like nvidia graphic card. I'm not able to play fifa13, fifa14 and skyrim. I regret it so much. I thought of selling it and buying Dell inspirion 3537.

Hi, I just got a Pavilion P6-2326s from a friend that didn't want it anymore because it was broken. I know a little about PCs so I thought i could fix it and have a spare. It would fire up and run but no video. I figured onboard video was dead and ordered a new cheap video card(EVGA GT610 1GB). I installed it and and no go. the pc just cycles through starting for 3-4 seconds, stops, starts again for few seconds and goes again. It will keep doing this forever or until I hold in power button to shut down. I thought maybe vid card was drawing too much juice, so I removed power supply and put in a known good, 550 watt that I have. Same deal with the start, stop sequence. Tried removing, replcing battery to refresh CMOS in BIOS. Same result with start, stop sequence. Is it safe to assume that Motherboard is probable fried? One othe note, when I got the PC and opened it up, it was the dirtiest PC I have ever seen. It was really caked up with dust and webs. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance

hi there i have a dv7-7332ea and i noticed after comparing images with my partners hp desktop that the screen has a blue tint just slight but when trying to edit photos it makes a huge difference , i looked at the monitor settings in control pannel and it says that it is a generic pnp monitor and not its make etc i have tried reinstalling the graphics drivers and it still shows this, has anyone created a profile to correct this issue or has a way of solving it, as im stumpped , i have tried colour correction through the intel control pannel but its just not getting the correct result

I have Hp pavilion dv6t-b600

Windows 8 pro 64bit

Product number: QJ920AV#ABA

 

My laptop came with windows 7 and AMD graphic card 6770m.It worked fine with it untill the problem in fan arised. It used to heat up alot. I replaced the fan and installed windows 8.

 

When i tried to install AMD drivers which i downloaded from HP official website by giving my product number it got stuck and a black screen appeared and my whole data was corrupted and i had to install new windows once again. It happened twice. I lost all of my important files in it as well. Drivers were 64 bit and for windows 8.

I did everything right.

 

Now windows is working fine withoud AMD graphic drivers again every thing works fine except the AMD drivers. I am unable to install the drivers. I just tried to install it again and while installation it says screen may flicker or completly go black during installation but when it goes black nothing happens. Its stucks.

 

I have updated BIOS from F.19 to F.1C but still no luck. Please give me the solution ASAP

Don't if it's a setting I don't know ABT are STHING is wrong but when I type none the letters are visible but they are there
