Suddenly, Internet explorer is having trouble displaying a certain web page: www.gleim.com. How do I overcome. Not having trouble with any other pages. Working with their tech support as well.

15-n067sr problems with AMD Radeon HD 8670M (windows 8.1 x64)

below i'll explain the problem i'm experiencing.
I've decided to install Windows 8.1 x64 to this notebook model (15-n067sr). The problem is that ATI drivers which i download from HP support site doesn't allow me to install Display driver, it only installs OEM profile or something like that + Installer. No display driver, no CCC, not anything else. And it doesn't matter if i choose quick install or personalized. I've tried deleting all the ATI, Intel and chipset drivers and reinstalling them one by one. First chipset, then Intel and then ATI and still Installer won't let me setup any data which is needed for correct performance.
Anyway, i tried to install 14.9 Catalyst from AMD website, also tried beta drivers and actually they install correctly and i can switch between 2 video GPU's and everything seems fine EXCEPT ONE THING : the notebook won't come back from sleep mode , hybernation mode or when the display switches off. I've tried to manipulate with energy options , but still no result. With AMD display driver installed (from official website) the notebook never resumes correctly from these modes, i guess they just don't work at all, display just becomes black and nothing else happens.
Yes, i've updated my BIOS.
No, with these drivers from HP i can't switch between GPU's and only Intel GPU works actually, i've checked that in TechPower GPU-Z.
I guess i've tried everything possible, but if you can think of any other solution - please let me know, because i can either play games normally and use both GPU's but it's impossible to work with notebook, because sleep and hybernation modes doesn't work, either i can work without any problems, but my AMD GPU isn't avalible.

HP Pavilion 11-n083na x360 Touchscreen
The touch screen on my new x360 fails intermittently. Sometimes a restart will bring it back, other times not. Often when it has failed PC info will not show Pen & Touch as installed but it reappears there when the touch screen starts working again. I'm running windows 8.1 with all the latest MS updates.

HP SoftPaq Download Manager
Hi,
My HP Laptop is not business client, however when I installed HP SoftPaq Download Manager, it was installed well.
However, this screen shot is still shown to me for about six hours without anyhing else.
I had to close it by force.

HP 2005pr USB 2.0 Port Replicator - Video not with my Surface Pro 3
Hi everyone,
I've spent tons of hours already trying to get the HP 2005pr USB 2.0 Port Replicator working with my Surface Pro 3 and no luck. I mean, the USB replication / hub works, meaning that if I plug in a USB mouse / keyboard, they work. It recognizes the device in Device Manager and the ViewSpan application is running. But if I plug in a display in the VGA, nothing happens, no monitor gets detected, and even if I "force-detect" one it still doesn't display anything.
I've tried with 3 driver versions so far:
- 0.2.5 - not working at all. Reboots my Surface while installing. (this one is on the device itself).
- 3.X - which is the first with support for Windows 8 I think. I can install it and everything works as described above - meaning no VGA.
- 5.3.X - same story as above.
I've tried uninstalling, restarting and uninstalling several times with both versions. No luck. And I've literally been on every forum where people have problems with the replicator and nothing helped.
Anyone had any luck getting such a setup to work?
Or any ideas on how to get it to work?

Bad Image error - igdumdim32.dll
Somehow igdumdim32.dll got onto my Windows 7 system. From what I can find, this is a Windows 8 dll. Keep getting error message: "C:\windows\system32\igdumdim32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error....." Very irritating and does disrupt some functionality. What do I do?
Let me describe the problem as completely as possible.
The "error" message reads: "C:\Windows\system32\igdumdim32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator...."
The "error" message occurs in several instances. It occurs when I attempt to open a video on Foxfire. It comes entitled "FlashPlayerPlugin_15_0_0_223.exe - Bad Image." When I click OK, the message reappears. It appears 3 times in total and after I’ve clicked OK each time the video will run properly, except it will not go to full screen. This does not happen with Internet Explorer. The same message occurs when opening certain programs such as: Quicken (entitled qw.exe - Bad Image), QuickTime Player (entitled QuickTimePlayer.exe - Bad Image), Garmin Express (entitled Express.exe - bad image) and others. In all cases the message come up 3 times and once I've clicked OK to all the program runs normally.
I've tried to find igdumdim32 in windows\system32 but it's not there. There is a igdumdim64 there. However, I have found it in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\5.inf_a….etc. It is also in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

pavilion tx2500 no display
After shutting down for a Win7 update the other day, the display has not shown. Windows loads and I can login blindly, but still nothing. The monitor I connected to it shows a black screen(not completely off like the built-in monitor) but I think the settings keep the display from extending to it by default. A couple years ago I had to replace the motherboard as the video card failed entirely, but Windows or even BIOS didnt load, and I think the CPU fan didnt even start so I dont think its the same. I resecured the cables inside and ensured it was clean and undamaged, and the issue persists. Thanks for any help.

Black screen and fan issue
Sorry, it's more the display issue than the fan so I had to post here although the hardware of the fan is involved.
So, any time my computer is off/on hibernate/sleep, and I turn it on, the fan starts up, SOMETIMES stops, and the screen is just black. I have to keep trying things such as turning it off, removing the battery and keeping the charger in and turning it on, keeping the battery in and turning it on without the cable, the same with the power charged etc. Just a load of combinations.
The fan SOMETIMES stops, but sometimes it carries on. What do I do?

Envy TouchSmart m6-K015xx Sleekbook
Hi, my warranty expired in August and only recently (about 15 months after purchase) my touch screen has failed. I had endured numerous issues with the windows updates disabling my wireless connection or my internet connectivity, so my updates are from August or September, but none appear to relate to my touch screen issue. Last week, it was just slow in its responsiveness, and now it simply doesn't react to my touch. I am updateding all of the windows updates and going to try to be compliant with windows, but what else can I do?

g7-2240us replaced screen & cable still dead. good external
I have a g7-2240us
It turns on but the screen is blank. (it flikers very slightly 2 times) and thats it.
I repalced the screen and the cable that runs form the motherboard to the screen. still nothing.
but ti works via the VGA cable to external monitor.
Any chance I missed something before I scrap it?

chromebox streaming
Just bought an HP Chromebox - connected to my TV via HDMI and am streaming. My Wi-Fi bandwidth is fine (over 100Mbps download from my Comcast cable per Speedtest.net). However....when watching some video streams I get a lot of stuttering and stopping which does not happen if I use my standard Dell XPS laptop to do the same thing. Is there anything I can tune or would adding extra RAM make any difference (cannot see how it would - there is 2GBytes there already)?
