I have an hp envy touchsmart ultrabook 4, after a year, the touch screen simply stopped working.

I have a laptop HP Pavilion g7
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1
Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Graphics Unit 1:
AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series
Graphics Unit 2:
Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000
All the driver has been updated weekenden-
My problem is that I do not get the picture up when
I connect it to my Panasonic TV, both during
display settings and sound can see my TV, but there
No picture, have tried all display settings that are possible?
but it works without problems on 32 "and 40" TV but not at 46 smart TV and my 50 "TV

restart my hp with a blank screen
hi i would like to reset my laptop but i cant because i have a blank screen and also i have a password on the home screen so as soon as i put my password in it goes to the blank screen. I have no idea what to do. can someone please help

New LCD Still no picture HP G6 series

the old screen was cracked but could still use the laptop. Ordered new screen. when I power on laptop the screen gives a quick 1 sec flicker than nothing. I get perfect picture on external display. I put the old lcd back in to see if I could get a picture and there isn't one. Any ideas? I don't see a power inverter below the LCD either.

hp 15-r007tx = pci device and sm bus controller device drivers missing
well hello hp. i bought a hp 15-r007tx lap a week back. my os is windows 8.1. its a duplicate os.
actually i was downloading my drivers from hp official website and i noticed that sm bus controller and pci device drivers for my lap were missing. i searched the website even by changing the region but it doesn't help me out.
can you please give me the link to download my sm bus controller and pci device drivers......please...

HP 15 R006tx cannot adjust display brightness
Date of purchase 30th Aug 2014. The report turned out DOA after the HP service center diagnosed my notebook. So, I called HP customer support and talked with their executives for complete replacement but still they doubt me . Help!

HP Webcam Error
Hello Forum! This is my first post and I'm hoping to get some assistance here because this is driving me nuts!
Pavilion g7-2317cl and Windows 8.1 64 bit
- Description of the problem:
- Webcam is not being detected. I tried through Cyberlink Youcam and received the following message:
- No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is turned on.
- My webcam has always worked before and I haven't installed any new webcam, I don't know if it makes a difference but my internal mic is also no longer recognizing sound.
- Not sure what to do and I'm in an online class and need both. Wasn't even aware that there was a problem.
- Oh! And I went under Device Manager and looked under Imaging devices... I see my new All-In-One printer and there are 2 HP TrueVision HD's but they are both faded.

HP Truevision HD Driver for Windows 7
I have a brand new HP 15- D035DX Laptop. I have downgraded the Laptop to Windows 7 from Windows 8.1. Everything is working except the Webcam. The webcam was working in 8.1.
There is no category for imaging device in Device Manager.
I know the problem is that I do not have the driver. Please do not send me a link on how to activate my camera. I have read all of the other posts.

My Cyberlink Webcam wont work
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to turn on the webcam for a HP Pavilion laptop. Every time i try to video chat with somone the camera wont work. When i go on the Cyberlink Youcam 5 icon it says "No webcam detected. Plug in your own. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is tunred on." How do i turn the webcam on?

Laptop has dim display
The display on my laptop is extremely dim. I can't adjust the display using the function keys or the display settings in the control panel. I can see the display using a flashlight. I have tried many troubleshooting steps, nothing works. The laptop model number is dv6-1245dx. Any ideas on what might be wrong.

No sound over Displayport to HDMI cable

How can I connect HP Envy Notebook with USB & HDMI only to a VGA 15 pin serial port?
I have a HP Envy Notebook with 4 usb connectors and 1hdmi connector, but NO VGA 15 pin port. It runs on Windows 8.1.
Most projectors used in presentations have VGA cables and so do many monitors. Without a port in the Envy notebook, I can't connect and make presentations or work with dual screens.
I tried a Digitech USB to DVI serial adapter. This works fine with Windows 7, but there is no Windows driver that I can find in Windows 8.1
Does anyone know where I can get a driver that enables the Digitech adapter to work under Windows 8.1 or is there another solution that would interface between the Notebook and VGA connector under 8.1?

Touch screen stopped working
I have a Pavilion TS 14-F040 ca sleekbook OS window 8.1 updated and the touch screen stopped working the other day.
It stopped working but after closing and reopening the lid it resolved the issue but 2 days later completely stopped responding.
Monitor is listed as Generic PNP monitor
Windows 8.1 did the last update after the monitor stopped responding previous update to that was about 4 days before.
Have removed and re-installed all drivers for the monitor and graphics card installed the updated driver for the AMD have also rolled back the AMD driver to the AMD Radeon HD 8400 version as the new R# series version made no differance.
Looked at the registery keys and they seem to be correct listing it with a 1 at the end
I see a message in the error log that states the "multi touch devise reported inconsistant contact information"
Have reviewed the forums and followed all suggestions on there except installing a previous version of the monitor driver as I could not find one on MS website?
Have also used the trouble shooter on the Control Panel and it returned only results on the SBT512 Audio / Video remote control HD and bluetooth drivers, when I check the driver and the follow message is attached "A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)"
The computer is now out or warranty by 2 weeks but my extended protection is provided by my credit card company should the monitor be replaced? or is the SBT512 A/V remote control HD may be the problem?

AMD Display Driver not detected suddenly.
It used to be able to work, but since yesterday, I have been receiving pops up from booting saying that AMD display driver is currently not running. Both my device manager and CCC cannot detect it either. What should I do? I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling CCC. 
My laptop has switchable graphics and now, my radeon hd 6470m is not detected at all and it only uses the Intel HD Graphics 3000.

HP Touchsmart 14-D007TX (Second Monitor/Display)
Good Day,
A friend of mine has a Touchsmart 14-D007TX and needs help displaying extra stuff on another monitor (using a VGA cable). But the Notebook does not detect the second display and looks for drivers (I'm guessing display drivers).
Is this normal? Does this mean it isn't Plug n' Play? or are there more updated display drivers for this purpose?
The Notebook is running on Windows 8.1 btw.

HP Mini 110 - 4108TU , Change display unit
Hi ,
In the screen resolution setting under display it shows Digital Flat Panel ( where as I am using my laptop screen itself ). Because of this my screen does not fit into the display of my laptop screen.
The resolution selected is 1024 x 768.
Please help me as to how do i change the display .
