Both "ctrl" buttons on my laptop keyboard have stopped working.

HP Pavillion Dm4-1173cl screen goes black
Hi, my HP Pavillion dm4-1173cl screen goes dark for a couple of seconds every time I plug in or take out my charger. My operating system is windows 8 64bit. It started doing this a couple of days ago. Can someone please help me??

HP Pavilion G4-2029wm
Ok, so I had my laptop for about 9 months now and my webcam has stopped working. The blue light that would originally illuminate doesn't work and the device manager doesn't recognize the webcam at all. I tried restarting my computer, re-installing the OS, finding the driver (didn't work out) but no luck. Can someone help?

Switchable Graphics stopped working - only recognizes intel graphics card

I have a HP Pavilion dv7

It's an intel core i5 and from memory I believe it is a radeon 6550
A few months back my switchable graphics stopped working, except it took me a while to realize that is what actually happened... My laptop will run super hot for basically anything involving video or graphics. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling video card drivers. I've updated my bios, I've updated chipset drivers, I've updated my video card drivers....
No matter what I try the switchable graphics will just not switch over to the ATI radeon, even though in switchable graphics I have that selected.
I need help please, this is getting old.

Cyberlink PowerDirector
I keep receiving updates to my HP Support Assistant advising me to download/install the Cyberlink PowerDirector. I have done this several times and it never downloads and the red exclamation point is still on the HP Support Assistant logo in the toolbar. I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Troubles with video drivers
Just bought the 4740s laptop and istalled Win7 x64 on it.
Problem is that it seems that it does not detect video driver.
Win Aero does not work, while launching video I get D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE error, while launching a game it says that Shaders 3.0 are not supported.
I tried cleaning and reinstalling drivers from HP official site and from ATI.com (after each fail I remove drivers with ATI remove tool, reboot and try another ones), but neither versions worked for me.
There was no driver disc with the laptop in a box.
Could you help me solve this issue?

HP Pavilion G6 2305 SH Switchable Graphic Problem
Hey!
I just bought a g6 2305 sh (i7, 12 gb ram, hd 7670 + intel hd 4000) and unfortunately i cant switch between the intel and amd graphic card.
I tried everything: i updated the bios ( current version: f.25), i installed intel hd driver, and i also got the newest amd catalyst control center. In the device manager i can see both graphic card without any problem, but when i want to change at catalyst i cant find the option because there is no such an option. I also dont have swichable graphic option in bios however i have the newest bios.
Please help me to find the solution of this problem. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Webcam not working.
Hi, my Hp Envy 6 notebook (sleekbook) pc's webcam is not working. It kept saying my Cyberlink Youcam version 3.5... has problem and stopped working. I tried repairing it by finding updates, but no success. So, I unistalled it. But now I am unable to make any video calls on Skype or Google Hangout. My OS is Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit Service Pack 1. Please help me.

Problem with Touchsmart suddenly disabled!
Hi Good day!
I have a very big problem with my laptop HP Pavilion 14-b133tx. I have problem with my touchscreen display monitor seems something wrong with it. It was suddenly disabled and I dont know why is this happening? Some of the suggestions in this forum I've tried a lot inside this forum but nothing helps at all. I've tried the device HID disable/enable thing, the Pen and Touch control panel, tried reinstall the drivers, and much more! But badly, nothing helps with this and I'm feel so disappointed and maybe I should go back to the distributors where I bought this device. If nothing will help me solve this problem within 6 hours then I and my last resort will be going back to the distributors.
Hope something will solve this problem right now! Hopefully and I'm looking forward for the best solution of yours.

i am not able adjust the brightness of my monitor for hp pavilion g4 1116tu ,recently i have installed new os windows7 pro since then i am getting this problem.while installing chip set driver i am getting some error saying contact manufacturer unable to find/install the driver.

updating Compaq Presario CQ56-219WM with generic intel graphics driver?

I've been having trouble with internet explorer 10 hanging and crashing since upgrading from 9 so I went to microsoft support
to find a sulution and they said that it was a problem with the graphics driver and that I should update it. But there a problem, the model laptop I have has a customized driver and it hasn't been updated in 3 years. Intel said there maybe some compatebilty issues if I updated with a generic intel driver. So my question is has anyone tried and were there any problems? I have Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family 4800m series with win7 x64.

No Audio device/driver after a new version of windows XP home installed
The title pretty much says it.No Audio device/driver found after a new version of windows XP home installed after a complete C: drive format. The HP pavilion 762c runs like a champ now ......but no sound. The serial number is {Private Information Removed} and system number is P8628A. No audio card ,must be onboard sound.

HP G62 Starts on intel graphic but not ati
I try to describe my problem as good as possible
i have a hp g62 with ati radeon hd 5400 series
a week ago or so when i was surfing in the net i got a bluescreen error and my laptop restarted
the start up screen normal and the weindows logo but then insted the homescreen i just get a black screen with nothing
i hear sounds from random button pressing so i know the laptop did start up but its all black
so i started it in safe mode and it worked then restarted to get a black screen again, then i restarted in safemode again and disabled the ati graphic card so it was forced to start with the intel card and it worked that way, even without being a really good coputer knower i think its safe to say that the problem has something to do with my graphic card, i deinstalled it and installed the newest version but still black screen, then i completly dismanteled my laptop cleaned everything put it together but still nothing has changed, so actually i acnt play any games or use it to watch movies with the hdmi cable,
btw the fan is working and i actually never had any overheating problems so i dont think my graphic card burnd it self or something, what can i do now?
and soemthing else but weird, 3 days before it all went black my brother called me, he told me his laptop screen went black and that it isnt working basicly the same thing as me. We bought our laptops the same day from the same place and its the same model, i always keep it clean and play the latest games so i use my laptop pretty much but my brother plays only league of legends so his graphic card isnt used maybe as much as mine but i live in a different country then my brother since a year, what im trying to say is we bought the same thing the same day together but after that both laptops were used under very different circumstances still we got the same error what i belive is the graphic card nearly the same day, i mean this is a bit too much to be a covincidens, is there something like an expire date for the graphic cards to them selfdestroy so we have to buy new ones ?

defective screen
I just purchased an hp probook 6455b with windows 7 pro refurbished. I am wel within the timefram e to return the product but I'd rather keep it if someone can help me with this problem. When I book up the computer it shows either a white screen or black lines. I plugged my desktop monitor into the laptop and I got the screen up. Is there some driver that's bad that won't allow the screen to display properly or it something more serious. Any help at all would be welcome. There is no error message. I can hear the windows music playing as I bookt up the comptuer but there's no windows screen visiible unless it's on my NEC monitor.

Blue screen error happened few times.
Hey people.
I have just taken this screen from my computer and it is not the firsth time. Up to date, 4-5 times same error have been happened and I am sure it will take keep going on.
my device is still in guarantee period and close to the end :) So can someone advice me what to do? Otherwise, I will have to send it to service.

HDMI output not displayed in sound menu

When I connect the HDMI cable from my laptop to TV . TV states NO SIGNAL.
When i check the sound menu the HDMI out is not listed .
Any idea how to get it to work.
