i just tried to install photoshop elements and premiere elements both v.12 and am told i have an incompatible display driver, and while, suddently the photoshop program began working (not necessarily up to par) but premiere will not load...where do i get the proper driver and do i need to know anything to install it???

Graphics problem with HP ENVY m6-1300sa Notebook
Hi!
Got a bit of a problem with my Notebook, earlier on in the year I updated to Windows 8.1 64bit (from Windows 8).
Prior to the update when playing The Sims 3 the graphics were fine but as soon as I updated the graphics are terrible no matter how high I put the settings in the game. The game is playable but the graphics aren't up to scratch, which is a bit irritating, and now the game is starting to crash.
I've tried updating my graphics card which has showed no change, and now I'm getting the message "Catalyst Control Centre: Host Application Has Stopped Working".
I don't know if this is all connected but I've looked through a few forums and it seems to be interlinked.
My product number is: E1A51EA#ABU
The operating system is: Windows 8.1 64-bit
I have two graphic devices which are: AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series and AMD Radeon HD 8550G + 7600M Dual Graphics.
If anyone has some idea how I could fix it that would be great!!

graphics driver updates
i have hp pavilion g6 2005ax . when ever i try to download a latest graphic driver from hp site for my notebook i always get same driver which was last time updated in 2012 . i also try to download driver latest from amd site but that fails to work correctly on my note book it only show radeon 7640g draphic hardware and don't show radeon 7670m . My problem is I just want to download and instal latest version of graphic driver but I fail to get it so please tell me when you are going to update the graphic driver for pavilion g6 2005ax for windows 7 , 8 and 8.1

My notebook graphic driver is not working on window 8.1 pro x86
My notebook is Pavilion G4 1016TX and it build in OS was window 7 Home Basic
But,i wanted to use window 8.1 Pro x86.So,I have done install it.But,there is some problem that i'm facing it right now.
My notebook Graphic Card AMD Radeon HD 6470M is not working.
I triedt to install it from device manager.Only Intel HD Graphic 3000 is worked,not the AMD.When i install AMD Update Driver from Device Manager,it's downloading the driver.When it is finished,the error occour in the installation steps and the window restart.Then,i tried searching the web.There is no information that i can use window 8.1 pro 32 bit on my notebook with AMD graphic.Please,someone help me with this.Because i want to use window 8.1 pro 32 bit with my notebook AMD graphic card not intel.And also one problem,the notebook heated when i use multiple process or playing HD video or games.Please help!!!!

When I install Window 8.1 Pro 32Bit on my notebook,ATI Radeon HD 6470M is not working when i installed it from device manager.After that,the computer restart of some error and only Intel HD Graphic 3000 is supported not AMD or ATI.Please help me with this.I want to use AMD or ATI Graphic card instead of Intel on window 8.1 pro 32Bit.
When i search the web about this problem,only 64Bit Driver are available,not 32 Bit.Please help!!!

Display driver keeps crashing
My hp is DV4T-1000
its a Dv4 Hp pavillion.
It crashes after every 10-15 minutes. The fan everything else is working fine.
My screen goes completely blank then a blue screen appears and the laptop restarts.
What do i do??

blue screen after trying to connect external monitor
Hi ,
I have an Envy15 j000eb laptop with the Intel 4600 & Nvidea GT740 video card. when trying to connect an external monitor to the HDMI port (a Pavillion 23Xi..the laptop screen just goes blank (blue color) and the monitor remains black. The monitor menu also doesn't detect an output signal on its HDMI port.
Now, after disconnecting the monitor, the laptop screen remains blank, even after a full reboot.
OS is windows 8.1.
any ideas?

Hp Envy 17 3d bad screen
Hello,
I'm using an external moniter because I have no picture on the screen. I would like to replace the screen but I don't see how to saftly remove the glass front. If anyone can give me some details on how to take the one apart that does not have a plastic frame on it,(those are easy). This one looks like the glass may be attached by double stick tape in the same way a smart phone screen is attached. I know with those you need to use a heat gun. Is this the same?

Elitebook 8570w
Having problems with HP Elitebook 8570w video display, with NVIDIA Quadro 1000m video card.
4 or 5 days ago the monitor was going black for half a second, then coming back to normal brightness.
I called HP Warranty, and they had me upgrade a driver for the Nvidia video card.
Now, the video dims but not black, and then comes up really bright then goes back to normal. It just repeats this over and over. Then after having the computer on for and hour, is stops for the most part. Or, is just fluctuates a few degrees of darkness, then gets bright again.
The computer has had the motherboard replaced once, 3 keyboards replaced, & 2 touchpad/surounds replaced.
Is this normal for workstation type laptops? This one never even gets hot, ever. So I don't think it is a heat related problem.
This laptop is great when it is working properly, but it seems to have in inordinate amount of hardware problems.

i am unable to change resolution of display. when i turned it on today it was set to 640x480 and i am unable to change it in the control panel. i uninstalled the windows update 5/2/14 and 4/30/14 but that didn't help. also, the nvidia driver is upated and working properly.

Found and attempted to apply Win64_153318.exe on Intel Graphics website for my Intel 4000 Graphics hardware. This failed to install, with error message that it is not for my system (It was clearly marked Intel 64 bit, Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000.
Also found on HP Envy drivers, SP63750.exe, Version 10.18.10.3304, dated November 8, 2013. Made no noticeable change.
In some cases, I could get the color acceptable for one mode (Viewing JPG file), but unacceptable for screen display. I tried the high contrast mode, but yuckk, made the screen really hard to follow with all those text boxes, like looking at a brick wall.
If I look at the same files with my (Win 7 Updated) Netbook mini 1101, all the graphics are really normal color and contrast. (Maybe the drivers got messed up when I had sent it on for repair to the HDD/MoBo). I haven't tried a total reset yet, it's always such a pain to do a master reset to see it is a hardware failing or not. Yechh
Any help for a reset to get my colors and contrast back to normal????

Its supposed to run at 2gb of vram and clocking 1600Mhz its been 512mb vram and around 500Mhz.
I was looking on here and saw that when you install updates from hp you go from the top to bottom on driver downloads. I don't think i did that but i might have already.
On a forum of hp for specs on the laptop (this one had more black to it in the background) it said i had 2029mb of vram.
When i first bought the computer it had all that, then i updated the catalyst control center and the driver and it read 512mb and around 400-500Mhz. I just reformat the computer so this is a fresh start and im open to suggestions om what to do. Thanks
