Touch screen not working properly
Hello,
The touch screen assembly was replaced on my Pavillion x360 laptop and since then the touch screen works in a mirror way.
For exemple: when I touch the screen in the bottum right corner I see the effect in the top left corner.
I tried to calibrate the touch screen, reinstall drivers, update the BIOS and firmware but it didn't help.
Any help would be appriceated

Need help with disabled/missing touch screen
Hello everyone!
I have a HP Pavilion x360 m3 convertible PC (model#: m3-u101dx). Runs on Windows 10, 64-bit operating systems.
For starters, I am not a tech-savvy person. I purchased this PC last year. It wouldn't ship to Puerto Rico (where I was attending school at the time), so I had to ship to my parents in Florida. When I received my laptop it worked perfectly fine. About a few months in, out of no where the touch screen stopped working. I'm not sure if an update caused this. I was limited on resources (electricity) to save all my information (school & personal stuff) and do a hard reboot on the computer.
I tried looking for the driver and I can't seem to find it. I don't know what I am doing really. I haven't downloaded anything but school stuff and I have no idea what happened to the touchscreen. I did the ‘View pen and touch info’ and it says: No pen or touch input is available for this display. But this makes no sense because I bought this computer and it had a touch screen working fine. I bought this computer because it had a touchscreen and I was able to fold it and use it as a tablet.
I finally got around to having the time to backup all my information to do a hard reboot, but the touchscreen is still not working. Can someone please help me?

HP Omen camera issue
I have had my laptop for nearly two (2) years now, and I recently have begun to have issues with my camera turning off randomly during video chats with my girlfriend. It wasn't usually a big deal, as I could just restart the call and suddenly the camera would work once again. More recently, however, the camera hasn't been turning back on when I restart the call. I have tried restarting the laptop, and still nothing. The video works sometimes, however, most of my time is now spent trying to correct the issue, when it should be spent talking. I've tried to correct the issue by updating windows, and updating drivers, but this hasn't helped at all. It seems the camera has deteriorated to the point of no return now, as it won't ever turn on.
When I go to the camera app, and try to use this, the camera blinks off and on, going between working, and a message stating that I have no connected cameras.
Please, if anyone can help... My girlfriend and I are forced to do long distance due to me being in the Marines Corps and being stationed in a 6 hour time difference. These skype calls are the only way we can see one another anymore.

Screen flickering & keeps blinking when unplugged.

Touchscreen doesn't work anymore
No changes. The computer (Windows 8.1) was on sleep mode all night. It came on during the night my daughter who did not know how to put it back on sleep put a dark shirt over the screen. When I tried to log on using touch in the morning, it did not work. I had to use the regular key board for all functions. I turned the computer off and back on, touch still does not work.

Display settings change on their own
I have a Probook 6470b with Windows 7 Enterprise. It is connected to a NEC m322x projector via VGA cable.
As a domain administrator, I go to "Choose when to turn off display" and set "Dim the display" and "Turn off the display" to NEVER. This way the picture does not turn off while the teacher is presenting.
I have ONE computer where the settings seem to change themselves - to turn off the display after xx amount of time. Teachers and students do not have access to that setting. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? This is the only computer it is happening on.

Laptop starts up then the screen turns black

Hello, I have a problem with the drivers: 1 discrete graphics card AMD Radeon (TM) R7 Graphics, Built-in AMD Radeon R8 M365DX. What is the actual problem, I installed the driver and everything seems to be fine, but when I launch any games for the premiere "World of Tanks", then my graphics are at the minimum FPS 25. Part of screen causes pen input to glitch
I have an area on the screen (a band running from top to bottom, about 2cm wide) which causes the pen input to glitch.
Whenever I write on the screen and come to this area the drawn line jumps erradically on the screen (whatever I wrote there is not readable), when I leave this area the input is correct.
I have updated my drivers and even tried with another active pen (Wacom Bamboo Ink) than the one delivered in the box.
Anyone got a clue how to resolve this?

Touch Screen Software
I just performed a format and re-install of Windows 8.1 on a freinds laptop (HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b109wm Sleekbook). I am in need of the software for the Touch Screen which seems to be unavailable on the software and drivers section of HP Support. I get no error messages, the touch screen just does not respond. I had to re-install due to windows not loading properly and the repair options would not work also.
Would anyone be able to help me with obtaining this software?

x360 1040 G5 - Screen Types and backlight Issue
1040 g5 have option for a screen with HP sureview or without.

I noticed when lookin at 840 G5 that screen with sureview has white visible backlike on the left and right edge of the screen.
Same is with 1040 G5.

I also own 840 g5 and i can see it the same thing.
Do you know if the screen with 400 nits without sureview has also that issue?
Also, i wonder why screen with sure view has 700 nits and other is only 400?
The 700 nits does not lok that bright to me compared with mac what is only 400 nits. IMac looks brigher.
Is the 700 some kind of trick required becasue of the sureview technolgy?
