New laptop doesn't detect battery, touchscreen keeps freezing when turned on!

I need help with this laptop since my 1yr warranty ended. I got this as a gift but never opened the box since i moved. But once turned on, while its plugged in, no battery gets detected & when logs in the touch screen freezes. So what do i do? Please advise!

I am experiencing a weird screen bug...
I recently found this out today,
You know where you boot up your laptop, and the HP logo shows up in the beginning?
Well, I found out that the HP logo is kinda bugged, there are quite noticeable white dots all around the HP logo.
I first thought that those white dots were dead pixels, however (to my relief) they don't really seem to appear anywhere else.
Even when I'm staring at a pure black background, the dots still do not appear at all...
Anyone else have this issue?
Please answer.

Notebook screen glitches and then restarts computer
My computer's screen keeps glitching and then the computer proceeds to restart itself. It just keeps doing it too and I have no clue whats wrong with it.
PLEASE help. I'm a college student and the majority of my classes are online so I need this computer for homework.

HID Compliant Touchscreen Driver disappeared
I recently spoke with a Microsoft support agent regarding the problem of touchscreen not working, and was told to uninstall the HID compliant touchscreen driver and then restart to reinstall it, but my touchscreen still was not working, when I checked in Device Manager, the driver disappeared completely, I tried showing hidden devices, and still no HID compliant touchscreen driver.
Also, it appeared that the touchscreen driver was ghosted out, and that was when the touchscreen started acting up.
What else can I try? I have run the troubleshooter multiple times, and every time it says there are no problems, I have restarted my laptop multiple times, I don't know what else to do.
Additional details: I have had this laptop for around 2-4 years, the warranty expired last year, and the touchscreen stopped working completely around 3-5 months ago.

здравствуйте , у меня проблема с производительностью игр , отмечается рябь , искажение графики в виде лесенок , также при просмотре видео роликов и в интернете . при отключении встроенной видеокарты появляется дефекты при просмотре фильмов и youtube .
смена windows не помогло также как и настройки видеокарты .

screen flickering and games lagging(while running on battery) on my hp au620tx laptop
ISSUE 1:
I bought an Hp notebook AU620 TX. 8 Months of purchase I found my laptop's screen flickering and it was uncertain,it occurs may be one time or two times a day. It happen so many times but first I ignored it. Now it happens again & again.
I talked with customer careane engineer visited and tried to resolve it with one small chip which is stick near to the keypad. After 2 to 3 days, I am facing the same problem.
Kindly help me for that I want to replace with another model of yours or refund me. Otherwise I forced to do legel action because 55 K is not small amount for me.
ISSUE 2:
Im having an issue with my new pavilion laptop. I know its not made for games but i know with the nvidia geforce 940mx i should be able to play low to medium graphics games on low settings. Even at games were it says it can run at high graphics im getting sudden low fps.
The issue goes as follows: Start game>constant 60fps>suddenframedrop after about half a minute> its 2fps for about 30 seconds> game goes back to 60fps> cicle repeates
I think it might be GPU or CPU throttling, or some software related issue
things i've tried
- power settings to max performance
-installed new drivers
-set the max processorfrequency from my i5 to maximum in advanced power settings
please help me with this problem...thank you

USB Disc Drive
I need to play a DVD but my HP Spectre 360 does not have a disc drive. I've tried 3 devices so far that haven't worked. Can someone please recommend a reliable player? Preferably less than $50. Thank you.

Screen Issue
Dear Support Team Member,
I’m having a problem with my HP ProBook 4530s. A few days ago, while I was working on it, the screen started showing a spectrum of flickering colors, then it would change from one color to another. I tried restarting the system, but the laptop didn’t immediately show the normal starting screen and continued with the flickering colors.
I let it cool off for a few minutes and went back to it. this time I was able to get it started without a problem.
But still from time to time as I am working on it, I face the same problem. It usually occures after a couple of minutes from being started and so far the problem has gone away after the laptop has been off for some minutes.
Once I tried connecting it to an external monitor during the “flickering colors episode” using HDMI, but the monitor showed a message claiming “it cannot find any signal”. Later I tried to connect the two again while the screen seemed normal and I succeeded.
I was hoping you could help me with figuring out what the problem might be and how I may be able to fix it.

i installed windows 8.1 in HP notebook 620 and now can't change screen brightness

I recently install new operating system Windows 8.1 Pro 32bit, but i can't adjust (increase of decrease) the screen brightness. my previous windows was Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 32bit. i have tried many drivers but nothing works.
my current display driver is "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter". i tried Intel(R) HD Graphics too and it says "The driver selected for this device doesn't support this version of windows".
the screen brightness is damaging my eyes.

Screen has green line, distorted colors, ghosting effect when playing videos, and crackling noise
Hi,
I just bought an HP Envy x360 a few days ago and from the day that I bought it I have been having a problem with video graphics. A large green line runs vertically up the video with an thin green line going across the bottom. The colors are distorted (going gray with pink) and a weird ghosting effect where a person in the video will be gray with a pink ghost of themselves off to the right. It's a weird explanation, but I will include a screenshot of this happening while I was watching a video. This image does't show the pink because ti was a darker vidoe, but you get the idea.
It happens quite often and is quite annoying. Usually I can refresh the page and it will go away only to come back a few minutes or hours later. I've had it happen during a commercial for a YouTube video where it went away when the main video resumed. I also can hear a weird crackling noise towards the back left of the laptop, near the speakers. It also comes and goes.
I've tried to check for any updates with the drivers but everything appears to be up to date. Again, it only happens in a video, but does not affect the rest of the page. Any advice to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

3rd Display is Connected but is Not Active (Second external display)
My laptop is trying to extend the display to 2 monitors but only got 1 work at a time. Monitors are HP LE1901w (VGA) and Asus VP239 (HDMI).
I tried to replug monitor after shutting down laptop and monitor but it doesn't do any good.
When both of them plugged in, the HP external monitor will show "VGA Input: No Input Signal".
In Advanced display setting, the Display #3 "isn't active"
How to extend the display to both external monitors?
