I just boght a laptop and It is BS662 TU , First of all when I asked about the screen , They said it is layered screen so it is common , so bought this but the display in it are not clear and the screen is like oily ? Is is common in anti glare screen ? , and fonts and images looks little blurry type in it ?

MY HP LAP IS NOT CONNECTING
MY HP LAP IS NOT CONNECTING WITH SONY BRAVIA kdl-43w660f LED SMART TV BY WIRELESS DISPLAY MODE EVEN COULDNOT CONNECTING WITH HDMI CABLE. WHEN I TRY TO CONNECT IT SHOW DEVICE COULDN'T CONNECT. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM I HAVE UPDATED WINDOWS AND EVERITHING BUT SAME PROBLEM.

Black Line On One Side Increasing In Size
I have had my HP Omen laptop for less than a year. I noticed that when I first got it, there was a black line on the side of the screen. When I drag my arrow cursor as far left to the screen as I can, it disappears behind the black line so I do not think it is a screen formatting issue.
I called HP, who sent me a disk to reinstall Windows. I did that, which did not fix the problem. It has only increasingly gotten worse over time. If it continues, eventually my screen will only be on one side and in the shape of a square, lol.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm hoping it won't have to be sent away as I do need the laptop for work, but it appears as though I may have to do that.

Can't adjust brightness
I'm dealing with the same issue. I've attempted to update both the Monitors and Display adapters drivers (both are up-to-date) I've had three remote sessions with Microsoft in an attempt for them to fix the issue and they have not been able to. I've done a full system reset back to factory settings, both from the HP image as well as throught the boot menu. I still have no ability to adjust brightness in any way, and my F2 and F3 keys do not work either. Please help.

External Monitor Display Resolution
I have a HP Spectre x360 - 15t Touch Laptop with an HP Elite USB-C (PN 924850-001) docking station connected via USB-C. I have one of the display port 1.2 connections connected to an external Samsung UHD 4k monitor (U28E510). The Samsung monitor is capable of displaying a resolution of 3840 x 2160. I know this because I connected to another computer and the resolution was 3840 x 2160. When connected to the laptop and docking station, it only display's 2560 x 1440. I've updated the docking station drivers to the latest version from here. Any input or advise is welcomed. I would like to be able to use the native monitor resolution as that was the main reason I purchased this monitor.

HP Pavilion BC406TX screen quality
The laptop screen is dull, faded colur, and not readable in straight line, need to adjust eye all the time, specially in browsers and watching movie, editing photo.
A slight deviation from last good angle, fades the picture out, is this it's quality, that HP sells with 73000 INR?
I am frustrated in a use of only 4 hours, the time I received/openedbrand new laptop.
Black is not black, it is grey, so how colud it help to people using for game or video editing, wastage of money. If this is it's problem and configuration is like that, then using so many hp laptops: dv6 and probook, I will suggest my known people to go for Dell, as an old 8 yers Dell Studio is still now stunning in clour accuracy and readbility.

Lagging while streaming from PC onto TV via HDMI
I am experiencing some problems while connected to with HDMI from my computer to my Samsung TV.
While streaming, e.g. football, the video is somewhat lagging on the TV, while not on the computer. The computer is bought in the U.S. and the TV is bought in Europe.
How can I fix this? After reading on other forums, I suspect it might have something to do with the refresh rate, but I am not able to change any of this.

I'm am an owner of Hp Envy 15-as105 nl notebook that has an integrated GPU Intel HD 620. Latest GPU driver from HP is version 23.20.16.4849 released on December 2017 (optimized for Windows 10 build 1709 as stated on driver support page here: https://support.hp.com/it-it/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-15-as100-notebook-pc/12499192/model/15209733). It has been several months since Intel released a newer driver for HD620 integrated gpu.
I'm aware that HP makes its own testing before releasing a vendor driver to theri customer userbase. But this time it seems that this release is taking to much time. Did HP stopped their official support for that model?
Newer driver version has low GPU power consumption during video play (as well as other optimization for 3d graphics).
No newer version is available from HP driver support page nor via HP Support Assistant app nor via Windows Update. I'm on Windows 10 build 1803.17134.228 actually.

Unresponsive keys on keyboard
Some keys , 9,o,l, and the period do not work all of the time. I have to press them several times to make them work. Im affraid they are going to quit working all together. I tried the 15 second reset where you hold the power button down for 15 seconds. Also I just found out that if I try to use the either shift button with those same keys I can't get them to work at all.

pavilion 15-au193sa - Brightness keys not working at all. All other keys working fine
Brought the pavilion 15-au193sa last year and have not used it at all. Have booted it up and done all updates but the brightness keys dont work at all.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Tablet Keyboard pops up when using manual keyboard
Whenever I start typing on my manual keyboard, the tablet keyboard pops up onscreen. This also happens when I click anywhere on screen to begin typing. It blocks the display and won't go away until I continue typing. Very annoying and makes the laptop difficult to use for work.

Ubuntu 18.04 Intel Nvidia suspend wake up freeze
Hi,
I moved my OS Ubuntu 18.04 to this laptop. Everything works well except suspend mode with Nvidia 930MX card activated.
When I leave only Intel graphic card in BIOS - suspend and wake up work well. If I change BIOS settings to hybrid Intel + Nvida - there is a black screen with full freeze of whole system (only hard 5 sec power off works).
I tried almost everything what I could find on the Internet but nothing helped.
I found a topic about it on Nvidia forum exactly about the issu but on Asus laptop. I believe HP has the same problem. Could you check the topic and fix BIOS to sole the issue?

Problem with screen shaking and a little white line appearing and disappearing
this problem started a week ago but after some minutes dissapeared. I don't know what causes it but today started and didn't stop one second ... I'd need some help or hints on how to fix it. Brightness hotkeys not wokring
Brightness hotkeys not working, other hotkeys working coretly.
- keyboard driver is Standard PS/2 and was removed and automaticaly installed
- dotNet 4.7 installed as default in Win10, was disabled and enabled/installed
- microsoft EDGE was disabled (removed dir)
- BIOS was updated
- all updates in HP support assistant was instaled
.... and still brightness hotkeys not working

My HP Envy fingerprint reader is not working consistently.
When I get a windows update the fingerprint reader works the 1st time I log in.and continues to work until I re-boot the laptop. Then it won't work. Once restarted, I can delete the device, re-add it and it works (unlocking the laptop) until I re-boot the laptop. Then it won't work again. Any help is greatly appreciated.

HP Pavilion X360 Touchscreen issue
I just bought a brand new Pavilion X360 8gb 128 gb few hours ago and I am encountering a very frustrating issue. The touchscreen repeatedly stops working in the middle of doing something. Sometimes, it doesn't work at all. Other times, only certain corner of the screen responds to touch. Just now, I tried to draw in a pdf app and the line I drew was very spotty with many gaps in the middle instead of a smooth line. The response does improve if I don't touch the computer for like 5 minutes, but it stops again once I use it for few minutes.

I used HQPFlash on my Z400 workstation to upgrade my bios version to 2013 , After restarting my HP L1940T became green , just colored green , it works properly , when i tried to change display monitor , the colors was normal

When I am using the skype my video is not working. But, face recognition and camera app on my laptop is working fine. Could you give me a solution for this?
And also I want to say something that for the amount of price that this laptop costs, it shouldn't get heated up as it gets.
