My pen is writing on the screen when I hold it like an inch away so taking notes on it is impossible. I contacted customer service and they said to try it with another stylus but that there is nothing they can do. I read online about replacing the pen tips but I either never got them or lost them immediately after recieving them. I wanted to figure out if there is a way to order them but I cannot find them anywhere so my nexr option was to just buy a new stylus altogether. Does anyone know anything about buying these or is replacing the pen my only option?

I noticed my touch screen for my Envy notebook just stopped working after a Windows update and I have tried every way to fix it but can't even find any trace of its driver on my PC. I need help
I have done a hard reset, even done the F2 diagnostics but all still to no avail. I have installed another BIOS as well no change.

HP Elite USB-C Dock supported resolutions
I bought the HP Elite USB-C Dock hoping to marry it with a HP Elite X2 1012 G1 tablet. While it worked okay with a standard 1080 monitor (24" @ 1920x1080), I had issues getting it to support a higher resolution for a 32" Ultrawide monitor. It seems like this dock should handle it, since my old Microsoft Surface 3 dock from 4 years ago suppors it just fine.
I upgraded the firmware and driver software from the HP support site, but still no joy. The max resolution I was able to pull out of it was something strange like 2512x1200. I tried both the DP and HDMI ports, which both provided the same results.
If anyone has ideas, please let me know!

Ability to adjust brightness is gone
I can no longer adjust the brightness on my laptop in any way. I've attempted to update both the Monitors and Display adapters drivers (both are up-to-date) I've gone into the Power settings and changed the advanced power settings. I've had three remote sessions with Microsoft in an attempt for them to fix the issue and they have not been able to. I've done a full system reset back to factory settings, both from the HP image as well as throught the boot menu. I still have no ability to adjust brightness in any way, and my F2 and F3 keys do not work either. Please help.

Need and up-to-date Webcam Driver for HP ENVY TS 17 Notebook PC
22-May-2018, HP Support Assistant auto updated HP drivers on my machine. Now, I have no live feed video through my integrated WebCam.
I've updated Webcam software to YouCam6, to no avail.
Current Camera driver installed is a generic Microsoft HP TrueVision HD driver dated 21/06/2006 Version: 10.0.17134.1.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing YouCam6 drivers, and HP Universal HD Webcam drivers, to no avail.
How do I get my webcam working so I can run Skype, YouCam6, and Camera apps with a live video feed with friends, family and colleagues over the internet?
It seems to me as if there is no downloadable HP HD WebCam driver from Hewlett-Packard's Customer Support > Software & Drivers for my machine HP ENVY TS 17 Notebook PC, Product Number: F7Q20PA#ABG...!
Can anyone help me, please?
NOTE:
I've also reached out to HP Support and raised this issue with <HP Tech Support <CASE:[edited]>, and after many hours of phone, and remote desktop support, 1st, and 2nd level support are clueless as to what to do next.
I've explained to them, please provide a suitable up-to-date HP WebCam driver that will work with Windows 10 and my hardware...still waiting (after several weeks) for a sensible approach from HP Tech Support.

HP Active Stylus Will Not Write on Laptop
I have a new HP Elite laptop that comes with a stylus. At onset, synced stylus, set up shortcuts, and could utilize the stylus to write on Office software (e.g. Word) and pdfs (AA). After 48 hrs, received a notification that the stylus battery was low. Replaced the battery. When looking at the Wacom Pen program, stylus now showing fully charged. The stylus will no longer write on anything or engage with the laptop. Resynced the stylus and will not write. When using shortcuts on the stylus, the pen talks to the laptop. For ex: hitting the top button on the stylus will open up the Window's Ink Workspace. When holding the pen to the screen, a colored dot will show up (like it is active and ready to ink) but will not write. When using finger, inking on documents works fine. Replaced the tip with the extras provided in packaging with no change.
Any help would be appreciated. Is there a probability the pen is defective??

Elite Display e230t solution when using a docking station
Sharing a solution on how to resolve if your HP Elite Display is not working if using a Surface Dock docking station.
Install the most recent driver for the touch monitor on HP support website.
You must use the usb cable with the blue tips that was included with the monitor.
For HDMI output, use a HDMI to Display Port cable from the monitor to the surface dock.
Go to display settings on your PC and set the display to 1920 by 1080. This is the recommended resolution.
Test the touch input on the monitor if it is working properly.
If the touch screen is not working after the steps performed, unplug the usb and hdmi to dvi cable from the surface dock.
Reconnect the cables to test the display.

2 W S X do not function on the keyboard
The key 2 W S X to not function on the keyboard, periodically. If I am persistent they may or may not work for a second or two before they stop working again. I had this problem before, I took my laptop to HP in Manila and they basically reset my machine, formatted hard drives and reinstalled the OS. It worked fine, the problem had disappeared until I installed Chrome and logged into my Google account, immediately after which it re-appeared. This seems to be Malware that I simply cannot detect. It renders the Laptop almost impossible to work with…. Any Ideas how to get rid of it, Help please!

I recently purchased a hp laptop at Best Buy. It is the ENVY x360 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive.

Intel HD Graphics 4600
I've been browsing Intel's website today and, taking into account my OS version and processor, I noticed the most current version of their HD Graphics 4600 video card is 15.40.7.64.4279. The version I currently have is 10.18.15.4248. Why is there (what seems to me) such a vast difference in version numbers? I realize it's best to download updates through HP as opposed to Intel (which is why I haven't downloaded and installed the version provided by Intel). Has it really been just over 3 years (my Device Manager says the driver date is 08/04/2015) since HP released an updated version of the driver for this video card and system configuration? If no, why hasn't my HP Support Assistant found, downloaded and installed an updated version?

HP Envy screen detaching from encasing
My Envy is less than a year old and is still under warranty. Today when I picked it up off my desk (using both hands, managed with care) I heard a pop. Once I investigated, I saw where a tiny round metal piece had seemingly snapped off inside and now the bottom, right-hand side of my screen is detaching from the encasing. I have never dropped this laptop, and I carry it around in a padded laptop case. Will my manufacture's warranty cover this? The screen is 100% fine. No cracks. No weird resolution loss. It's simply detaching from the metal back of the laptop.
