Windows 10 10.0.17134 with last updates
The display brightness is less without charging. Settings checked - maximum with charging and without charging, updated BIOS, tried previous versions of drivers - without result.
Please, help make the backlight as bright as possible without a charger.

Purple Horizontal Lines on Monitor
I have purple/pink lines showing up horizontally through the monitor. I've disconnected the HDMI and reconnected, and I've rebooted. This is a dual monitor hooked to a docking station for my laptop. I'm 4 months past my warranty.
Any Suggestions?

screen freezes after pausing for more than 2 minutes
when i am watching a video on my notebook, if I pause it for more than 2 minutes my notebook freezes. It also does it if I am browsing and it sits idle for more than 2 minutes. I either have to wait or sometimes I have to restart my computer but it freezes when I try to click on anything

Notebook HP – 17-ay011nc - Cant switch between R5 and dedicated R7 graphic
Hello,
i got terrible problem with my notebook HP – 17-ay011nc:

after clean reinstal Windows 10 64-bit, i can't swap between R5 and R7 graphic.
I already update BIOS: F.40 Rev.A and newest graphic driver from HP is installed: 22.19.180.1792 Rev.C
I really don't know what to do more, instalation is UEFI.. In Radeon settings it is all on High Performace.
Please help me :(

I just purchesed the ENVY x360 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop model 15M-CN0011DX, I have looked at your list of active pens and do not see this 2 in 1 listed. I am wondering since this is a new computor and is not listed what active pen is compatable?

Camera works for taking pictures, but crashes the Camera app and Skype when I try using video.
I noticed this just a few hours ago and have been tyring nonstop to fix it since. For whatever reason, my Camera app works with taking pictures, but neither it or Skype work with video. I have checked my camera driver (HP Wide Vision HD), and have confirmed that it is up to date (I have tried to update it many times, and have even reinstalled it several times during that). The issues still persist, and nowhere else that I check can try to help me.

Green screen and double image
I have omen t17~w200, I have exact same issue, had a laptop for over a month, mine only happens when I'm in desktop mode, while playing games no issues,
I get these double images, sometimes green screen, sometimes it happens few times in a min sometimes goes hour, randomly...
Ran all tests, stress included, updated the drivers, restored nothing.

GHOST TOUCHES ON SCREEN
HI, HAD PURCAHSED THIS ENVY IN JANURARY OR FEBURARY OF2018. HAVE NOW LATLEY STARTED GETTING "GHOST" OR "PHANTOM" TOUCHES ON THE SCREEN. THIS MAKES IT VERY ANNOYING AS IT CAUSES MY AUTOCAD PROGRAM TO CRASH AND THUS LOOSE WORK. "THIS IS GETTING A LITTLE COSTLY AND TIMELY AS THERE IS NO METHOD THAT SEEMS TO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM." I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE DRIVERS AND HAVE THE MOST RECENT BIOS AND DRIVER UPDATES AVAILABLE. I HAVE READ THRU ALMOST ALL OF THE OTHER THREADS ON HERE INVOLVING THESE PROBELMS AND NONE OF THE FIXES SEEM TO HELP. IM LOOKING FOR HELP FROM YOU GUYS.

HP Envy x360 - need dual monitors
HP Envy x360 15-aq100 CTO
I need to hook up dual monitors. I can run one into my HDMI port but that's the only HDMI port that I have. The other port I can use would be the USB-C port but I have tried several times with different monitors and different cables and it's as if this computer does not recognize anything coming out of this port.
Why doesn't the USB-C port recognize any monitors or even my television? I have tried running an HDMI to USB-C cable into these peripherals but none of them work.
Do I have to use a docking station? If so, which one?
What is the USB-C port for anyway if it won't recognize any of these devices?
Very frustrated and angry with HP...

Problem with HP X2 612 G2 in combination with HP Elite USB Dock G4 and two DP Monitors
Hi everyone,
since last week I have the following new hw setup at work:
HP x2 612 G2 notebook with windows 10 64-bit
HP Elite G4 USB Dock G4
Furthermore I have two Fujitsu Displays which I'd like to connect using Display Port - since the docking station is able to connect two DP screens that would have beem my preferred solution.
Now the one screen is a 27inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1440, the other one is a 24inch screen with 1920x1080 resolution.
Unfortunately I am not able to run both screens together in the original resolution since the 24 is flickering extremely. Both displays would work with a resolution of 1920x1080 but I do not want to reduce the resolution of the 27 screen.
I've already tried to update the firmware of the docking station to the latest one - unfortunately no improvement. An adapter DP to HDMI does not help, the screen is not even recognized.
The serial number of the dock is TWP81113Y1 - hope that helps.
If anyone could provide a solution how I could get my two screens running I'd be very thankful!!!

Sharp edges on HP laptop
I have been an HP girl for over 20 years. I bought a new HP Pavillion and it hurts to use it. The entire laptop seems cheap. The sound is terrible and the keyboard seems offset and hard to type on.
The quality is 1/3rd of my last Envy that I had for 7 years. Please advise of any fix for the sharpness. Thanks so much for your time.

My laptop won't display to my projector
I am trying to connect my laptop to a projector. I have connected the projector to another laptop so I know it works fine.
I have tried pressing the key with the Windows sign + P and clicking on 'Extend' but nothing happens, and when I go back into that screen it has simply gone back to 'PC screen only.'
On my settings screen under Multiple Displays it simply says 'Didn't detect another display.'
So frustrated with it all, I would really appreciate some help please!!

Shattered Screen HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq103dx
I dropped my laptop and the screen shattered on the right bottom corner and side. What is the best option I have in order to repair it? The computer works but the touch was acting weird so I deactivated the touch driver. Thanks for the help!

We meet an issue with video conferencing and we would like to test the latest intel graphic driver :
Intel: Version:24.20.100.6136 (Latest)Date:6/5/2018
When i try to install it , there is a error message due to HP intigrity check drivers.
I follow tuto about disable intigrity check but i alway have the same message.
Is there a way to install this driver ?
did HP plan to package it , and integrate it in HP Support assistant ?

Re: HID - Compliant Touch Screen (Driver Missing)
I am having the same problem and have spent many hours on the phone and remotely with Microsoft. They have acknowledged the problem and have said that a lot of people with hp laptops are having it. They are trying to resolve it and said that hopefully the next update of Windows 10 would work.
They are going to call me tomorrow and if there is anything worthwhile I'll post it here.
Unforunately HP doesn't give the driver as I can't find it in the list of drivers on their website. It doesn't make sense to me that it's not there.
