Last few days i bought via official uk hp store laptop Omen by HP 17-an019na with GTX 1070.
Everything looks fine but when i started use new laptop I have noticed yellow and little gray tint in the corner screen especially when I am watching something with black colour. I can't see anything when background is colorful.
is it normal?
Do I have a manufacturing defect of the product?

This update image showed up a few days ago down in the lower right hand corner of the screen, and when I click on the update link it will not go away. Anybody know how to get rid of it? I have included a picture so you can see what I am talking about. Many thanks!!

We got an adapter and it does not work. We have an "Acer S241HL BMID 24" Widescreen Monitor" connecting to a "Newest Premium HP 15.6'' Touchscreen HD SVA WLED-backlit Display Laptop PC, Intel i5-7200U 2.5GHz Processor, 8GB DDR4 SDRAM, 2TB HDD, HDMI, Bluetooth" laptop and error says "input not supported". The monitor has a VGA plug for input and the laptop has a HDMI output jack. Can you help or do you know a product that will work?
I bought my new Hp Spectre x360 a week ago. I've noticed that it gets very hot very quickly and is rather noisy. I haven't been streaming much from this laptop either. I have only been doing some web browsing and these effects still occur. Is there any way I can minimise these effects (ie: through uninstalling software)? I already only use my laptop on flat, hard surfaces (I also keep the bottom a bit elevated) to cool it down. I paid a fairly decent amount for this laptop. This is a bit of a shame...
I just got the hp pavilion x360 and every day the screen has been flickering. Some days more than others, but I cannot figure out how to make it stop. It doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not. The flicker is really quick, sometimes it seems like its moving horizontal, sometimes vertical. What kind of problem could this be and how to I make it stop?

I bought HP Pavilion 15au111TX an year back and the display is showing flickering issue where the screen turns black when my mobile phone is kept or even when it is the flight mode.
HP team has confirmed that it is a manufacturing defect and that many systems were recalled at the starting of sale period.
Now when I recognised the problem, they are accepting their fault in all the mails and telling me to put the mobile phone away completely. In these times of smartphones and tablets, how am I supposed to follow this lame excuse that they are giving me. Please community I have had a horrid experience with cutomer support since last 6 months and 3 service engineers have visited my home for remedy and all of them told me to contact HP company for refund or recall. But daily phone calls from HP team telling them the issue and explaining it repeatedly since last few months has been no less than a mental torture.
I do not know in which world customer is the king because these companies like HP think that customer is the most helpless in this and I am so frustrated that opting for social media like many other customers with no expectation has been my last resort.
Please help me or tell me a solution as my display flickers so much that it is hard to even type this message.

Im really dissapointed with hp.. just few months of usage of my hp 15 au018wm pc, i had started noticing alot of issues and now suddenly the pc wont charge or power on.. i have tried other power cords and charger and also tried my charger with other hp 15 product and charges properly my pc is still under warranty. What can i do?
I have installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in my notebook, but even there is a dedicated graphics card Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330, it is not getting detected in the system.
When i take the system details, i could see that the graphics as Intel® HD Graphics 520 (Skylake GT2) , which is the default graphics in my machine.
Do i have to install some additional driver software in order to make use of this graphics card ?
Please share if anyone have faced such an issue and got a working solution.

My son's HP Stream 14-ax010nr, 2 mos old, can switch off and on, but when turned on, goes to a black screen with white cursor. No sign in, nothing. Cursor moves appropriately. Tried tapping Esc repeatedly from other posted advice, tried Ctl-Alt-Delete---didn't do anything. The F4 button works--that's about it. The power pilot light is steady, not flashing.

The power button lights up and i can hear the fan running when i turn it on. It sounds as it has done since i bought the laptop the only problem is that the screen does not appear to work anymore. How can i fix this?

Does anyone know if blue light emitted from these newer computers are a safety hazard? I read that according to research, blue light is very damaging to skin and eyes, and is stronger and more damaging than UVA and UVB rays put together! Then I read that the newer computers do not have this problem, but that was only one article. All of the other articles said the blue light is a concern for all types of computer screens, phones, etc. I am worried because my face is in my laptop day and night. Is there a screen cover that I can buy that will filter the blue light? This is something we should all be concerned about.

I have tried two different USB Type-C to HDMI adapters which I was told should work with my computer to connect a second external monitor. Neither adapter has worked. I would greatly appreciate someone advising me as to the best and quickest method to connect a second external monitor to my laptop even if it is not through the USB Type-C port. I need the cord that attaches the keyboard to the tablet. In order to use the keyboard that came with the tablet it has to be connected to the table. I lost the cable. Cannot find one the the HP site.
Ok so, I heard in BIOS settings there's an option to increase virtual memory. My bios is completely different from everyone else's and there are a lot of grayed out options. All my settings are different and I can't find the vram option. Is there a way to change virtual memory?
I have 16 gigabytes of ram but sadly I only have like 128 megabytes

Model was advertised at the time of purchase as to be used as tablet for drawing .
