After WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-17.2.1-Feb28 I am unable to install any version of the graphics driver, everytime I install it, it gives me yellow warning sign in the device manager and error code 43 device not wokring. Latest driver from HP is 16.101.1701.1001 Rev.A from Apr 29, 2016, seriously?
Any help will be much appreciated.
p.s. Don't want to mention the 3D Driveguard issue at all.

I recently installed window 7.Unfortunately the Synaptics Touchpad has not worked
The device does not show up initially in the Device Manager under Mice and Pointing Devices, but will show up if I click on "Show Hidden Devices," in which case it lists "Synaptics SMBus TouchPad" with a yellow warning triangle over it. Right clicking its properties says "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)" If I click on "Update Driver" it says that the driver is up to date.
I've followed the various suggestions made by the HP Support Assistant which have not worked, including:
--uninstalling and installing a new driver
--testing if the touchpad works in recovery mode - it doesn't
--downloading the driver from the HP website - it says the one I have is newer and deleting and installing the older one doesn't work
--doing a system diagnostic from F2 on start up - there is no Touchpad in the component list to test, otherwise quick test comes up fine.
I would note that the Programs list does include the "Synaptics ClickPad Driver." But something is not connecting somewhere to make it work.
I'm open to other troubleshooting ideas.

I have an Elitebook 8470p that I purchased refurbed aout 6 months ago, amazing laptop for such a small amount of money. The refurb was a replacement screen.
The issue I have the screen is simply awful, the veiwing angle is terrible, it's like looking at a white screen at times. Even if you look at it head on, it's still white on the top or bottom. I suspect they changed the screen for some really cheaply made panel, as I'm certain a £2,000+ laptop wouldn't have a screen this bad. I really can't use this laptop for more than 15 minutes as the sceen hurts my eyes, it's that bad.
Anyways, how do I tell if this is an original HP screen and the correct one at that?
Resolution is 1600x900 GPU is AMD 7600M and the screen is matt, not glossy.
Please help.!

I need help. I purchased a new laptop/tablet device. It's refurbished, but "HP Certified" refurbished. It came with a CD, which I'm assuming is for downloading drivers, however there is no CD drive, so I can't download it. I own many HP devices, but I cannot add this one to my HP dashboard... the numbers I provide aren't recognized, so I can't find the updates I need.
Issue is the touch screen doesn't work. This is a laptop/tablet combo, but the tablet is pointless if I can't touch the screen. What do I do? Where do we go from here? Which is the way that is clear? ;-)

when i try to connect a camera via any messaging service (skype/messenger etc) the laptop crashes to bluescreen. i replaced the camera and reinstalled the appropriate programs and it still happens. Is it a graphic driver/video driver problem? any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I did change the cursor to big and black so I could see it better because when I just hover over something it is as if I clicked on it too and it closes windows I was working in and is just a big freaking hassel. I hovered over a button on ebay and it put something in my shopping cart.
I can power the notebook off and turn it back on to get the cursor but that does not seem to be a good idea..
My ProBook's half screen has become vertically tinted itself. I
s there any solution that how to get rid of it?

I have been trying to use my SR300 intel realsense camera but ever since a recent update (though not sure if it is the cause) it has not been working. In my device manager I get "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)" in the device status under one of the camera's drivers. I also believe I am missing drivers where I wasn't before??
All I know is that every time something (like my computers camera) goes to find my webcam it comes back with an error saying that the camera is disconnected, but this is an embedding camera not one through USB. All of my other drivers are up to date.
And so if I am missing drivers, what are they and where can I find them?
My laptop screen is broken. The display and the touch screen both work, but there are visible cracks on the screen. How much would it cost to replace it?
