Does that mean my laptops aren't affected?

My sister crashed my laptop the other day. I was able to do a full reset and reinstall Windows with factory settings. I have not installed anything new since then and have not made any other changes. Everything seems to be working fine. The only problem I have is that the F2 and F3 buttons are not responding to screen brightness control. The "Display" menu that I navigated to through Settings also does not give me the option to adjust brightness settings. It only shows options such as "Night Mode", etc. The last thing I noticed was that in the Device Manager, I do not see a tab for a "Display" adapter. HP Assistant is telling me that I currently have all the recommended and updated drivers needed. WHAT DO I DO!? It's driving me insane because I am sensitive to the screen being so bright. I have contacted Microsoft and they have determined that it's not any errors on their part. HELP PLEASE!
I turn the screen around to touch position and a message comes on screen asking do I want to switch to tablet mode with a yes and no option but it only appears when I lose control with the keyboard and touch pad so I cant click yes and I have no control with touch screen?
My ALPS touchpad is not working properly. The cursor jumps around, doesn't drag evenly. Screen magnification changes suddenly. Tapping the touchpad doesn't always work and I have to use the left mouse key.
Hello. Have had total nightmare with this unit from the start. Unfortunately i let the notebook sit in it's box unopened for most of the first 6 months. Then i switch it on for the first time and i KNOW there is a backlight bleed problem. Couple of small bright spots in the bottom left corner. Spoke to Currys/PC World where i bought it and their so called experts had it in a couple of times and just made the problem worse. I was pushing for a refund or replacement but now they are refusing to see the problem that is staring them in the face. Don't understand why HP isn't involved at some level. Can anybody help my situation?
When attempting to connect my external monitor it is not recognized. I am using a VGA adaptor to connect to the dpi. When I connect it to my old lap there are no issues. It’s like it is reading it as a external hardrive.
My touch screen is what alot of people call "Ghost Tapping" basicly it taps by it's self and its a big problem becouse i make comics for my school news paper.
The mute key itself is not working and other keys that I press will mute the sound on my laptop, for example if i press "T" or 'Y" the sound on my laptop is mute,

My notebook updated this morning. Now my touch screen does not work and I can't find it in device manager to enable it. I assume I have to download and install the driver again, but I can't find the right one. Please help.

So after this newest windows update December 2017 it looks like it uninstalled my audio and webcam?
I fixed my audio problem, but it says my webcam is not installed at all... I also tried to locate it under my device manager and I everything seems up to date.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

My HP spectre x360 13 has green/yellow display compared to other laptop's display. It's white is more like green/yellow combination. Please help me how I can make it look better like natural colors.
My DM3 starts to boot up and then right before the Windows screen shows, the screen goes dead. I hooked up an external monitor and it works fine. I replaced the screen temporarily just to check it and it had the same problem. I was thinking, heat problem? So I booted into the bios and letit sit for an hour with no issue whatsoever. So I was thinking maybe software. So I reloaded Windows 10 and it went finr but on 1st bootup, BAM it shut the screen off. I'm lost. Has anyone out there had this problem? Please help!

I simply want to write down notes on ONE-NOTE, I am not interested in drawing or sketching, so I hardly need pressure sensitivity, can u suggest how can I disable the pressure sensitivity as I need to apply more pressure on the screen to write and also if more pressure is applied on the the center of the screen the screen is deforming slightly which makes it really uncomfortable to write on the screen. please suggest a solution

Can you please help me with increasing gpraphic memory of onboard graphic Intel HD graphic 530 to 512 MB of model HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ak001nc Notebook. Is there a driver which allowed it ? Thank you in advance.
I HAVE THIS HP PAVILION X360 I5 7TH GENERATION AND THE F5 ICON THERE IS NO BACKLIT OPTION.

I bought a new computer HP ENVY 13-AD101NT (2PR55EA) and I bought an USB-C to HDMI Adapter (it is S-Link brand, not a cheap one), and I have 2 monitors with HDMI input.
The thing is computer is giving alert in every 5 second that the "USB DEVICE IS NOT SUPPORTED" but it is working, I can see the laptop screen on the monitor. But it is not possible to use the computer with having alert in every 5 seconds.
I searched internet for HP Brand USB-C - HDMI converters and I found 2 HP Products; "N9K77AA" and "N9K77UT". But I couldnt find an HP seller who sells these items in Turkey.
I called HP-Turkey (4440307) to ask where can I buy these converters but THEY SUGGESTED ME TO BUY NEW MONITORS AND DID NOTHING TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM.
Who can help me?
