Port Replicator is not fully stable, often a bit flickering,

I purchased a HP 3005pr USB3.0 Port Replicator as a (universal) docking station for my laptop HP ProBook 450 G2 running under Windows 8 Pro 64-bit). Everything works quiet well, but the monitor display via the Port Replicator is not fully stable, often a bit flickering, if I move the mouse over icons in the taskbar, the icon on which the mouse resides shows a kind of noise and the whole screen lights a 'bit up and down' or gets 'noisy'. Altogether it's quiet annoying. Is there a way to get rid of these artifacts?

i have one problem with the computer from this morning; all of the sudden even if i was trying to click on some icons, itstarted doing whatever it wanted, like clicking on other icons, zooming the page and so forth. it seemed like there was someone using it apart from me, but actually i was alone and that was pretty freaky.

can someone help me? I would really appreciate!

Scree mirroring with Amazon Fire Stick

I can detect the Amazon Fire Stick from my laptop with the message "Jim's Fire Stick" when I select it it states "connecting" and the TV screen shows "Display Mirroring starting soon - Preparing to mirror thge dispolay from LAPTOP - 5EUEF7770 to your Amazon Fire TV"

Then after about 10 seconds the TV states "Display mirroring is exiting" and the laptop shows not connected.

Can anyone advise what needs to be done to successfully connect and mirror.

Both of the hinges of my notebook (HP envy 15 - serial number [edited]) are broken.

I'm afraid one day it won't hold my screen anymore.

Is there something I can do about it?

I am facing an issue with my notebook laptop,when system get booted it shows a notification that "Dispaly AMD drivers Stopped working and has successfully recovered".And then screen Blinks for few times.

Now after that this issue occurs in every 15 minutes,so i formated my notebook with Windows 10 64 bit OS and installed fresh drivers for system but when graphics drivers get installed this issue reoccurs and this time system is getting restarted everytime.

I can only use my notebook when i disable the AMD Graphics adaptor from Device Manager,When i am enabling it my system is showing a blue screen error and restarting again and again.

Please help me and suggest me how to resolve this issue.

HP Envy 15 Notebook with Windows 7 Professional. Recently the on screen display for volume increase, decrease, and mute stopped working. The function still works, but I can no longer see the on screen display. Any ideas?

I was wondering if there was a product fault or recall with the HP pavillion screens ?

I plugged my ethernet cable into the laptop and I heard the screen go ping.

My laptop is just over a year old and it was the first time of using the ethernet cable.

Could the screen not have been in correctly?

I have the same issue. The problem occurs quite frequently when I'm booted into linux and persists when I boot back into chromeos. I need to put the chromebook away (powered off) for quite a while before the module elan_i2c is loaded successfully again (dmesg gives a i2c_designware timeout error message when the touchpad is not working)

My laptop screen suddenly changes to pink colour while on charging.The pinnk colour don't cover the screen fully.I have attached a photo my screen along with it.Now its being two weeks and the colour is pretaining.Anyone please help me to solve this issue. My notebook worked a day ago, but is now suddenly running into issues. I've tried certain methods but non have worked since this model has a built-in battery that is not easily detachable from the laptop. My problem is when I tyr to turn on the notebook the power indicator light turns on but the display shows nothing. I don't think it is powering up anything at all since I don't hear a fan (which I usually always do during startup). I need this laptop for school work please help.

Hello,

I have a new ENVY 17.3 laptop -- model # 2RX66AV. (4K monitor).

I find the colors kind of garrish looking -- kind of "amped up" .

Example: Excel Table -- Color I used to fill in rows is a completely different shade of pink than what the same file looks like on two other laptops. Really bright and garrish looking

I cannot figure out how to adjust this to tone down the colors.

The issue is not brightness, it is actually the color shade.

Resolution setting is already on the highest (factory default)
