Is it possible to fully disable de Intel HD Grapics and use the AMD Radeon Pro instead?
For the earlier models there is a manual, but for this model not. looked in the BIOS but there is no option.

Screen flickering
Hi,
I have a notebook HP Pavilion gaming 15-ak112nl with the following problem of flickering the screen.
The video card drivers are updated.
The problem does not occur often. The screen does not refresh, but the image is distorted as when the TV signal is not there.
What can it be?

HP Spectre x360 display cracked.
I have purchased HP Spectre x360 from US and got it to india but i was not using for more than 8-9 months approximately.
Recently i started using it and it was working good. once i had closed the display with little force than usual and shocked to see the display cracked. It is very rediculous and pathetic that the laptop is so delicate and sensitive. Please share the details of the HP support in Bangalore, India and also let me know if it can be rectified by HP without extra cost because of its faulty design.

pen not working
when going into tablet mode i use the stylus to write in search boxes on websites etc, however the pen has stopped writing in the box that pops up, it will still let me select things with the pen as if it still functioning, but wont let me write anything. when i open microsoft word when i write it does work, any help?

Battery lost charge now doesnt doesnt work unless plugged in
Hello I bought a new laptop a couple of months ago.
The battery started acting funny and first dropped to about 80% maximum charge with message plugged in not charging.
This then went down until its at 0% and the laptop obviously won't work unless plugged in.
At a first step I want to remove and put back in the battery however I can find no guide on how to do this.
Is there a guide somewhere?

Video Memory Check Failed
Hello,
I have a HP ZBook 15 that when I ran the HP hardware diagnostic extensive test it came back with video memory check failed. It has a video card and onboard graphics. Not sure which one is the problem. Any help on this would be greatly appriciated.

Will ENVY 360 support dual monitor setup
Will the ENVY x360 support dual monitors over the USB-C port?
I just purchased an ENVY x360, model #15M-BP112DX and a Targus Universal USB-C docking station (DOCK410USZ). These were both purchased on the advice of HP order support indicating I would be able to run dual monitors. I am using the USB-C port to connect the dock which is connected to dual DisplayPort monitors and get no results, it wont even charge. I know the cable and port on the dock are live because it charges my phone when connected.

FPS Blocked
Hello,
I have a problem. I bought a Pavilion power Laptop 15cb 0xx 2 days ago. The first time i played with this laptop, i had more than 140fps during online gaming. Yesterday it fixed at 60fps and i can't improve them. I tried to go in Nvidia panel and unclick the v-sync. But it still remain at 60fps. What can i do?

I7 7700HQ
16gB rAM
Nvidia 1050

Flickering taskbar notifications area
Just the same problem.
I've tried to fix it following yout instructions about Notification Area Tab, but no way.
Restoring system seems a too hard solution for this problem. Does any other exist?

Stylus compatible with HP 15" Touch Laptop
I would like to purchase a stylus to use with my new touchscreen laptop. I previously used an EliteBook tablet so would like to take advantage of all the touch screen features.
I've read various forum messages and haven't found any that mention a compatible stylus.
Please let me know if you have knowledge of a stylus that is compatible with my touchscreen laptop.

I have the same problem. Just purchased a Envy x360 13-y034cl Win 10Pro, i7-7500U, 16Gb, 512 Gb SSD QHD+ Costco Configuration. Seems like the problem is most prevalent on a program install or new registry entry. Also noticed it today when I opened Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2018. No resolution change would increase the application images and font. Could not work in the application because the images were too tiny. I's seen this some problem on different blogs for the Envy x360. I'm positive HP is aware of the problem. Any help from HP is appreciated.

Warranty issue, out of country purchase
So, I purchased my HP laptop from Thailand a year ago. I am currently in India, Mumbai and require servicing of the laptop as the screen stopped working. The HP support centre insists that my warranty has expired even though on the HP global website when I put in the details there is a 2 year warranty coverage. The next argument they make is that even if this is under warranty it wont be accepted in India as I purchased this outside India. It is clear they have no sense of understanding that HP is a global product. Third, they insist that if I can update warranty, then they will help me in getting servicing done. However, they tell me they do not know how to help me in updating warranty status as this laptop was not purchased in India. Fourth, that even if I am able to help myself in getting a warranty updated, which though has not expired, then subject to whether the part is available in India, they will try helping, but it is conditional. I am to say the least quiet disappointed and amazed at these irrational arguments that are made. I need to know from the community if I can get global help to coordinate sorting out these web of problematic arguments to help with servicing in India? Thanks.
