Graohic card not connected
I can not connect my Nvidia video card, I had an error of overheating, the message 90d keeps appearing in the beginning and now the video card does not appear as an option in the windows device manager.
the computer is not overheated. Another change that appears is that the coolers start at maximum speed since windows starts. there is no dirt or strange noises. They work fine but at maximum constant speed like when you are using the NVIDIA board.
I tried updating the nvidia drivers but you can not because it does not recognize the connected board, like windows.
I have done the windows restore to an earlier version and neither.
I think the first thing I have to try is to remove the message of overheating, which as I said does not seem to be the problem since the computer runs cold air and does not feel any overheating like when playing games.
I tried hard reset but there were no changes.
What do you suggest?

Please upload a touchscreen firmware update for HP envy M6
Hi, I have an HP envy m6 aq003dx which was having random touch issue in which touch screen registers touches itself (phantom touch) so i searched on this site and found some threads of spectre series having same issue and resoved it by updating their touch screen firmwares so i tried one sp79862.exe (UHD firmware) and my touch stopped working at all after that and i also tried to flash FHD firmwares like sp78424 and they say error connection retry also tried sp74835 which says failed in red. I have searched this issue alots of people are having this same issue WE ALL NEED A TOUCHSCREEN FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR ENVY X360 M6 AQ003 DX MODELS THIS CAN REALLY BRING OUR TOUCH BACK TO LIFE JUST LIKE HP PROVIDED FIRMWARE TO SPECTRE USERS WE SHOULD ALSO GET IT IT IS OUR RIGHT SO PLEASE GIVE IT.

Laptop freezes frequently while playing videos
My laptop frequently freezes when playing videos (both online and offline) and requires a forced shut down. Also recently an error occasionally appears, it says something like "Display adapter has stopped working and has recovered". Device manager says my graphics device is working properly and its driver is up to date.

Using HP Pen on HP ENVY x360 - 15-aq273cl
I just bought the HP ENVY x360 - 15-aq273cl at Costco and the HP Pen to go along with it. I have reviewed the document named Touchscreen Compatability with Pen and Stylus. It lists a lot of Envy x360 convertibles, but not the exact specific product number although very similar prodct names. Would there be any reason why the Pen would not work on my model? We brought the Pen to Best Buy and it works on every single other Envy x360.

Upgraded to Windows 10 - Touchscreen works with finger but stylus won't move
Computer:
HP TouchSmart tx2-1270us Notebook PC
Operating System:
Windows 10
This is touch screen model with rotating monitor and built in stylus. I have just upgraded to Windows 10 OS today.
Problem:
Touchscreen works with fingers (scrolling, etc) and it seems to pick up the stylus as well HOWEVER, no matter where I touch on screen with the stylus it only thinks i'm touching one un-moving location in the upper left quadrant. I have the setting where a small circle eminates from where the stylus touches and it's always up in that quadrant no matter where I touch on screen.
Side-Note:
Not sure if this is relevant, but this machine was gathering dust for about a year before being given to me. Possible the stylus needs to charge? I am not sure how that works.

black screen
whenever i log into one spefic account on my laptop,all i get is a black screen with the windows 32 pop up.once i close that window,my laptop screen is black with only my mouse showing up.on my other account everything is fine,it just effects one account.what i was doing before was clearing my laptop of malware with malware bryte,and now i can no longer use that account seemliny.i even attempted the removing battery,but it did nothing.

Spectre x360 13-ac010ca Palm on Screen makes Pen Stop Working Sometimes
Hi,
Wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing this isse:
A month or so ago it started having some problems when my palm was on the screen: the virtual "tip" of the pen would drag when it was really just hovering (but the problem didn't happen when I didn't rest my palm on the screen)
Now this week, sometimes when my palm is on the screen the pen will fully stop working. The virtual tip won't even register. When I remove my palm, it takes a few seconds and then the pen starts working again. But then the next morning the pen would work just fine with my palm?! No pattern to when it stops working (and yes, fresh batteries).
I contacted support:
- they sent me down a new stylus (case number 5004876666) This didn't fix it (happens with both new and old, with fresh batteries)
- all my drivers are up to day (support checked)
- Support told me that I would need to fully restore the computer to factory; completely wipe it (Case number: 5006075063). I unfortunately can't do that at the moment so I can't tell if that fixes the problem.
I will eventually do a full system restore and see if that helps. But I wanted to see if anyone else has had this same issue, and if they found any solutions?

Can somebody explain the difference between the displays offered on the 15” HP Spectre 360 gen 8.
One is -
15.6" diagonal 4K IPS eDP micro-edge BrightView WLED-backlit (3840 x 2160)
The other-
15.6" diagonal UHD UWVA eDP BrightView WLED-backlit touchscreen(3840 x 2160)
which one is better and why?

White lines afetr sleep mode
I was having a problem with white lines after machine woke from sleep mode. I did some Google research. I see that this is a issue with these machines. The solution I found was to roll back the display driver. The machine has been on for 10 hrs now and the problem is gone.
