I can turn on my laptop and everything is fine. I can log in and once I get in and to my desktop, my background and programs show, but nothing on the bar at the bottom does. After a few seconds, the screen just turns black and I only see my cursor. I can press ctrl-alt-delete and the options show up just fine, and I can open task manager. I can’t do anything else though. What do I do?

can you help me in finding an active pen compatible with HP Spectre x360 Convertible - 13-4110nl ? I live in the UK.
I checked the compatibility here, https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05166879
and it seems thta the only compatible pen is "HP Active Pen (Synaptics) J4R51AA#ABL (CAN/ENG) ; SPS 773175-001", that is not available on the UK HP store.
I also checked other common e-shop webiste, but I couldn't find this HP active pen anywhere (I need the pen to be shipped to UK).
Any help about where I can buy a compatible active pen ? or any other suggestion for non-HP stylus that is compatible with my notebook ?
Any help or clarification about active stylus compatibility is appreciated.

I have nootebook 15-ba001ne Detachabl laptop. After reinstalling OS windows 8.1 32 bit. I could not find drivers for 32 bit. HP support center only shows drivers for 64 bit. My touchpad & screen touch is not working. Can anybody please tell me how to make them work & where to find drivers for 32 bit.

display problem
I was working on my Notebook and all of a sudden the screen went black for a second or two, and then there was a thick black border around my display. Everything still functioned normally within the now smaller display box. I restarted my computer and now the display does fill the whole screen again, but is stretched out. I went to my display settings, but the zoom and resolution are both on the "recommended" setting. I tried zooming in and out on the mouse pad, but all that did was zoom the desktop in and out, while leaving the taskbar unaffected and still "zoomed in". Please help! I work from this Notebook and really need to find a resolution ASAP. Thank you!

Broken touch screen
I cracked my screen pretty good, and it needs reaplaced. The touch screen still works, and it sometimes goes a little haywire unless the screen is perfectly flush. I'm going to replace the screen--myself hopefully--but am a little confused on all of the part numbers and names of everything. I think all I need is the actual DISPLAY BEZEL with part number 725617-001.
Ive looked at the manual, read forums, watched videos...but haven't ordered anything yet. If the only thing I order is the desplay bezel from the site below, I should be good to replace it, correct? I see some other parts for reaplacement screws and whatnot, pretty sure I can just use what I already have...? Any tips, suggestions, or well wishes are appreciated!

I checked the device manager, HID, then the touch screen device, and I found an error CODE45, saying that the ouch screen device is not connected !!.
Any advice please?

How to get get Spare Parts in India.
I purchased my laptop from US. Now I am in India and my touch screen doesn't work property (ghost touch), which doesn't allow me to type anything. Tried every possible troubleshooting as asked by the HP support team but nothing happened. So they suggested me to contact to US support team as the Laptop is still under warranty. These guys in India do not support this Model in terms of Spare parts availability.

Il display è fuori proporzione. Come posso fare per ripristinare la giusta risoluzione? Il monitor ha sempre funzionato bene, ad un tratto si è ingrandito orizzontalmente e le icone hanno cambiato aspetto. Ho cercato di controllare con i comandi del monitor, ma non riesco a manovrare. Ho cercato di modificare la risoluzione del video, che dovrebbe essere 1920x1080, ma tale risoluzione è indisponibile, mi da 3 opzioni: 1280 x 1024 - 1024 x 768 (scelta consigliata) - 800 x 600. Qualcuno mi può aiutare a ripristinare la risoluzione ottimale originale? Grazie.

Display only working in an angle
When i boot my laptop on a regular way, my display will light up in a dark way (due to the backlight i suppose) but i don't see the HP or windows logo coming and it remains so. With a external screen connected, the external screen works.
If i open the screen at an angle of 10-30 °, and then push the power button, the laptop will work as it' suppose to do. So when it's booted, i open the screen completely. But this can't be a solution forever. I also allready updated all the drivers, ....
What could be the very strange problem here?

Touch Screen not working
It seems I do not have any touch screen functions anymore. I don't use it a lot so not sure when it happened but think it may have been after the big windows update about a week ago. Anyone have any idea's ?

Fingerprint log-in not working
Dear sir/madam,
A few months now my log-in with using fingertip have stopped working after a windows update. I assumed that after other updates the problem will be fixed. My boyfriend is working with IT, but he could not either fix it. I think he said that something like the software for this to wor has been erased from the drive and then he tried to re-install it but it did not work again. Could you please help me fix it? Unfortunately, i am not that bright with computers so i would be grateful if you could use simple guidance.
