It connects and reacts to the top button, but thats it. Has anyone been able to make it work?

Install AMD Catalyst Driver on HP Envy 15-3090ca
Hi,
Recently I noticed CodeXL doesn't run on my machine(even though the process shows up in task manager). After further investigation, I found that the driver for AMD Graphics card is the issue.
Simply put after un-installing the amd graphics driver using DDU and installing AMD Catalyst Driver, either windows itself and/or the intel graphics driver would have/give me issues with the newly installed driver (can't tell exactly what but I've had signing issues to code 43 which I think is for driver being disabled because of not working properly).
After searching the internet for solutions, I found one person who had similar situation and he too had both intel graphics driver and AMD Driver. He mentioned that he solved the issue by:
1. Turn AMD off in Bios
2. Install intel driver
3. Turn AMD on in bios
4. Install AMD driver
My questions are:
1. Does this approach work with my configuration?
2. Is there a better/any other way?
3. How to get into my machine's bios advanced settings?
Specs: HP Envy 15 (2.4GHz Core i5-2430M, AMD Radeon HD 7690M 1GB)
BIOS: Insydeh20 not sure about the version.

Touchscreen not responding - But HID driver updated and enabled
Hi!
Since I bought my computer in 2014, the touchscreen always worked well.
But since a few weeks, it stopped responding.
I read a lot of forums to try to fix it, and I used the following solutions :
- disabling the HID touchscreen driver
- uninstalling it
- looking for updates
- unchecking the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." in the properties of the driver
But none of them seem to work since my touchscreen still doesn't work.
Do you have any suggestion?
PS : It may be related to this problem or not, but I can still inform you that at the same period, my battery started to stop charging and finally stays to the state "0% available, plugged, not in charge",what's make the computer quite not-nomad anymore

Cannot set desktop refresh rate above 60hz on GSYNC laptop
Hello
I can't set the desktop refresh rate above 60 hz on my new laptop which is supposed to support gsync.
In the windows display adapter properties>monitor settings I only get the options of 30hz and 60hz.
In the Nvidia control panel>change resolution I only get the options of 30hz and 60hz.
In the Nvidia control panel under set up gsync, I have the "Enable Gsync" checkbox checked and have "Enable gsync in fullscreen & windowed mode" checked as well.
I have all the latest drivers from the support page installed. I have all the latest windows update installed.
I don't know what else I'm missing. Maybe someone can help me out.

DV7 Nvidia GeForce GT 230M: Windows stopped this device because it reported problems. (Code 43)
Hello everyone!
I have an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC with a DualCore Intel Core i5 520M, 2900 MHz (22 x 132) and Video Adapter nVIDIA GeForce GT 230M. Motherboard Chipset Intel Ibex Peak-M PM55, Intel Ironlake-M.
I've been running windows10 64 bit OS for over a year now with no problems. But now I have a yellow triangle on the video card icon which led to an error message...Windows has stopped the device because it has reported problems code 43.
I've tried a number of fixes; uninstalled driver and restarted which worked for about 15 minutes but then back to fail.
how to could "repair" the problem with the card I have, or
Will I have to buy another card?

all the reviwes are the same there is a defect in your screens. How can you help me instead of telling me its a $800 repair plus i have to pay for shipping thats more than half the cost i paid $1300 good money. You should honor your product you know there is a problem. Its just 1 year old.

Hp ENVY x360 bp-0xx none HP pen support
Hy,
I would like to know if someone has experiences with non HP compatible styluses for HP ENVY x360 bp-0xx. Our active pen market is a bit small in our country, so I found that I can buy a Wacom Bamboo Ink or ASUS pen (active stylus). Both manufacturers websites say that my ENVY is not listed as the compatible device for their pen. So I would like to know if there is a way that any of the pens above are compatible wit this ENVY convertible.

External monitor issue
Hello. I've just bought this laptop and got problem with connecting external monitor(BenQ GW2760HS) by HDMI cable - I can see it in in device manager(but only in audio device section) and on NVIDIA GPU software, but can't see any image on monitor and Windows 10 can't recognize it in "Display settings". Also there's no information about it on Intel GPU software.
I'm definitely sure there's no problem with monitor or cable(it's working fine with PC).
I already tried to update system drivers but no result.
How can I solve this problem?

HP Spectre X360 (13-w013dx) Facial Recognition Always On and Blinking even after sign-in
Hi,
Sometimes when I turn on the computer, the facial recognition doesn't recognize me and remains on and blinking the whole time. Even after I sign in using a password instead, hours later it is still on. Also sometimes the facial recognition randomly turns on without me doing anything.
Let me know as soon as possible if my privacy is being compromise

Clear circle in middle of touchscreen
When I first got my new laptop I noticed that when I'd first open it, the screen would bubble up as if it was compressed too tightly and air had to enter it. Now I've got this strange clear circle on my screen. The HP logo is on the other side of the circle so I suspect it cause too much pressure on the touch screen and has altered it somehow. Anyone else have this issue and how can I fix it? I believe, though annoying, it is purely cosmetic. For now at least.

Screen won't rotate
Hello, had my computer since January and now the screen won't rotate. I have read through the posts and can't seem to find a good answer. HP Forum help, please don't tell me to turn on/off the rotate button. I have tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling, system updates, regedit configuration and booting in tablet mode. Nothing seems to work.
I need a no kidding answer, not the first grade response of please ensure rotate is turned on.

My camera doesn't work, the camera app shows an error, and Windows Hello doesn't work.
I have allowed two remote HP technicians to access my desktop via the HP app that came with this PC. I ordered it and it just arrived like two or so days ago and during the installation, the camera worked, but once it went into the desktop, it stopped working. One technician was able to fix the camera, but not Windows Hello, and the process of trying to fix Windows Hello broke the camera. So we know for sure that this is not a hardware issue, the hardware is perfectly fine, it is obviously a driver issue and I need competent aid to this end. I'm sorry if I sound rude but I literally spent my entire scholarship of 1500 dollars on this computer and had to wait 20 days for it to be shipped to me, even though I live in Silicon Valley, this is simply not acceptable and I need a solution to this problem as a computer of this class should come in fully working order, just as a 200 dollar ThinkPad from craigslist might...

HP15 LaptopScreen cracked on its own
I bought my son and I a HP touch scream lap top it only lasted four months he was on his but I didn't even open mines yet, and somehow they ended up getting cracked I was barley on mines and I had it on my desktop one day it was perfectly fine as I came back home from a meeting at work, and it was cracked no one was home so I knew something was wrong and a few months after that the same thing happened to my sons I wouldn't recommend a HP "touch screen". They're easily damaged in their own way.

Freezes on video playback
The computer freezes only on video playback.
Sometimes it will go for hours, sometimes it freezes within 15 mins.
Drivers are up to date, no viruses, hardware is working, just a year of nightmares.
I have tried almost everything over the past year.
I see there are a lot of others with this same problem.
I am a sales manager / Business Machines manager for the big Office supply store.
I used to push HPs, this is my 4th one.
Not so sure anymore.

Graphics Driver missing
I am not finding my amd drivers on my pc Is there anyway to download all the drivers online?
my laptop has AMD Radeon HD 8670M 1GB DDR3 graphics processor.
But I can't find my amd catalyst settings on my pc
please provide me the downloadable links.
p.s- the latest drivers from hp website is also not working as it is failing everytime i install it (sp64573)
