My laptop has been switching off instantly and no matter what Ive tryed nothing seems to be changing. Also I Did a system test and it said ' Test failed ( Hard drive problem) Error code : U0ECQM-7S98S0-XD7WMF-60V803
The new HP ENVY x360 15-bp130nd comes with an HP stylus. However I can't seem to find any information on how many pressure levels the pen/screen has. One of the main uses of the laptop will be creating digital art in photoshop, so just making notes and sketching isn't going to be enough. I have heard good things about the pen functionality on the 2017 HP spectre x360 15", is this laptop comparable?
I have a new HP 250 G6 with a FHD display and a stuck pixel issue. There is a single pixel where the red and green dots are permanently off and blue is permanently on. If this was any other resolution I would be covered by the statement "Any 2 dots within 15mm of each other that are always off"

The Intel Graphics driver does not recognize the Monitor of my HP8570p.
I have installed Windows XP Pro 32Bit SP3 on my HP8570p Elitebook,
including the drivers and the latest BIOS from the HP Support Site,
and including .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.
(Furthermore I have tried 'DriverPack_Online' and free 'driver_45booster',
in order to eventually update old drivers.)
PROBLEM:
If the Intel HD Graphics driver winxp_145111 is installed and active,
the resolution is set to 640x420 and cannot be changed;
and I can only choose one of these monitors:
'Plug-and-Play Monitor
Standard Monitor'
When I run the installer 'winxp_145111', the requirements are displayed:
... 2nd generation Intel Core i5 ...
...all released versions of Microsoft Windows XP ...
These requirements are met.
If the Graphics driver 'winxp_145111' is deactivated or not installed,
the HP uses Standard VGA, (which does not enable the 'standby' option),
and the Device Manager displays: '? Videocontrlller (VGA-kompatibel)'.
I do not believe that the Intel HD Graphics card is damaged,
because in Windows 7 it works correctly.
Have you an idea, what goes wrong?

Recently, I got spectre x360 15, and everything was fine until recently where some image retention started to occur. I looked at other forum threads but none of it seemed to work for me. Also, different from other cases, the image retention is worse when a tab is closer to the top of the screen, and better when a tab is closer to the bottom of the screen.
Lastly, the area above tabs have a lighter color than things below it, and is what makes the screen retention worse.
I have done graphics updates, updated BIOS, done everything avaliable in the HP Support Assistant Inferface, and played around with the resolution.
Could anyone help?
I have looked everywhere to find drivers or information on how to re-install my touch screen capabilities. Ever since my upgrade to Windows 10 my PC says that there is no touch input available for this display. However, it was a touch screen before I upgraded. The drivers don't exist and the touch screen doesn't exist in the F2 system diagnotics area either. I can't find a touch screen driver to install. Any suggestions. The PC is only 3 years old and I would really like t have my touch screen back. Thank you.
Привет в сем проблема с ноутбуком HP не могу поставить Windows 7 после Windows 8 это значит на ноутбуке стоит зашита. То есть при попытке установить систему выдаёт ошибку selected boot image did not authenticate тогда ломаем зашит у что делаем. (1) Включаем компьютер и сразу жмём кнопку F10 пока не зайдём в BIOS. (2) когда зайдём в BIOS ищем ст раку на верху под названием выбираем её стрелочкой влево, право System Configuration когда зайдём. (3) ищем ст раку под названием Boot Options нажимаем Enter затем ищем си раку. (4) "SecureBoot" меняем в ст раке "enabled" на "disabled" с помощью кнопки Enter. (5) За тем ищем ст раку с названием Legacu Support т меняем в ст раке "disabled" на "enabled" потом нажимаем Yes. нажимаем кл F10 чтобы сохранить изменения потом у вас будет тёмный экран не бойтесь на и кране будет текст белый и синий и щите на тексте (цифры и + Enter) и водите.
при переводе Legacu Support "enabled" перестаёт загораться экран
загорается только после сброса настроек BIOS
что с этим делать?
Hi, a few days ago i tried to update my AMD graphics drivers, but now my graphic card is in conflict (AMD radeon R7 440)
and when i try to update it, it only updates to R7 340 and is incompatible, i've tried to find the drivers but i don't find them anywhere
When translating Legacu Support "enabled" the screen stops to light up lights up only after resetting the BIOS settings what to do about it?
MY laptop has AMD A8 APU with R5 graphics 512mb and 8570M dedicated graphics processor with 2 GB Vram. But my laptop is not utilising 8570M and its 2GB Vram for games. Gaming is not smooth. I tried many drivers from amd and hp website but no luck. Was I cheated?

Hello, I am the owner of an HP Pavilion 15-ab103nl, witn a Carrizo APU, in particular the A10-8700P and a Radeon R7-M360 discrete graphics card.
I am experiencing various WHEA errors, System Thread Exceptions not handled, and sudden game crashes (I only play on non-demanding titles, such as Crossout at 720p minimum specs), all the way up to system reboots.
I performed several UEFI diagnostics of the whole system, so I can exclude memory/HDD problems; the same UEFI diag tells me there is no problem, but the issue remains.
I performed a clean uninstall of all drivers using DDU, and updated the drivers to Crimson 16.9.2, the latest supported version for my R8-M365DX.
I can assume that these issues are not cased by thermal management problems: I constantly monitor the temperatures using MSI Afterburner (I'm not overclocking in any way, it's only the simplest way to keep on-screen statistics) and rarely in this configuration the temperature exceeds 60°C.
Honestly, I can't figure out what the problem is.
I even tried an in-place reinstallation of Windows 10, to exclude errors in the system files. Thank you for your attention, any help will be appreciated.
If necessary, I can send dump records, DxDiag, and other stuff like that.

I have a refurbished ProBook 6460b with Win7 64bit on board. I am trying to update video drivers choosing different versions of it, but each time I see blue screen after rebooting. Sometimes it almost starts working with new driver installed - I can see starting screen in better resolution with some cross lines flashing and blinking but after few seconds it crushes and ends with blue screen again. Then system restores to previous configuration using regular non optimal windows driver and working in basic graphic mode. I am suspecting it is problem with video card, maybe it just broken - can you help how can diagnose it ?
