Connecting Second screen to laptop
I want to connect a monitor to my laptop. I understand it wont be touch screen and that is fine. I really need the monitor in addition to the laptop's screen to work effectively.
I updated the driver for the Intel HD 620 graphics card.
I connected the second screen to the HDMI cable, and turned it on. I then moved the selector on this monitor to HDMI, and it says there is no input. I checked on the computer and cannot find the HDMI in devices. When I go into settings and choose display, it only gives me the option to find a wireless display. I want to be able to choose the display hooked into my HDMI port, but it only gives me the wireless option.

Elite revolve g10 G2 driving to two DP monitors via 2013 ultra slim dock
Hi All,
Im looking to drive three external screens from my Revolve G10 generation 2 and the ultraslim docking station,
so far one DP monitor and 1 Vga work great, when I plug the second DP into a hp p2020 monitor the display sya "input signal out of range change settings to 1600x900 -60hz.
now I know the Gen 1 could not drive 2 Display Ports but shoud the Gen 2 be able to both displays turn up diplay port topography.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wierd blinking in middle of screen on right and left side
Hi,
I purchased this laptop new 2 months ago. Within a few days of using it, I noticed 2 dime sized areas in the middle of the screen {right side and left side}. The two areas flash. When this occurs, i am unable to control the display. The arrow erratically moves across the screen and all I am able to do is shut down the computer. I originally thought it was some kind of screen saver, but as this continues to occur, I've realized it's not. I bought this for school and I am so disappointed in it. This was a lot of money for me and it is basically brand new. Please help. Also, I need clear instructions as I am not very tech savvy. I have no added any programs or apps. This began the second time I used it .

Odd noise coming from laptop?
Hi! So, my laptop has been doing this thing where I'll play music, and sometimes it freezes my screen, and instead of music, it's an incredibly loud blaring noise, almost sounding like something jammed between two moving cogs...my mouse stops working, and even if I shut the lid of my laptop, the noise persists for a few seconds longer? Any idea about what may be happening and how I can solve this issue? Thank you!

Graphics card
Recently i resetted my computer and after that I was not able to see the AMD graphics card option when I did a right click on desktop. Before that i was able to see that option. I could see AMD Radeon R5 M330 under display adapters in device manager. also i can see AMD catalyst manager in all programs. Before I was able to open the AMD UI and do the chnages but not now. please help.

Drivers for Radeon HD 6400/7400 series not working on HP Probook 4530s
Hello, It has been about 3 years already when I had a problem with my drivers. When I installed Intel HD Graphics driver, it was working ok. But then when I installed AMD drivers for my AMD card too, my notebook couldn't boot. It freezed at windows logo. So I had to in safe mode uninstall the AMD drivers so my notebook would work normally at least with this intel GPU. Now after 3 years I wanted to try it again, with using Driverfusion to completely uninstall the Drivers. I thought that could be the issue. But still nothing, notebook still freezes at windows logo. But now when I want to install back the intel HD graphics it says either that "your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements to run this software" when I want to install drivers from HP site which are exactly for this notebook, or when I install the drivers from other side, it would install, in device manager there is intel HD graphics (saying its up to date) but it seems like my notebook isn't using it at all. In resolution there I can see that my PC is still using only the basic VGA, so I can't set resolution higher than 1024x768 or watch videos in normal quality. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.
EDIT: I tried to look into BIOS and there is no option to "activate" the intel HD graphics. Only option to check "switchable graphics" which is checked, but greyed out. Also, I read here on forum that you need to install only AMD drivers and it will install intel drivers also. I did this now (downloaded drivers from HP site) and indeed, both intel and amd drivers are installed (but I had to disable AMD card in safe mode, because it wouldn't boot again) but Intel HD graphics has a yellow triangle at it, saying "this device has been stopped because it has reported problems. (code 43)".

"OLED" display has backlight, and therefore not true blacks

I recently purchased an hp OLED laptop model, however there is a backlight in the display which is turned on right after the hp logo on boot disappears, making the blacks not "true". My question is, how can this backlight be turned off, and if it can't, is there a different way for this display to exhibit true blacks? The appeal of OLED displays is that there is never a backlight. Is there a backlight on all OLED models? As I mentioned before, the backlight seems to turn only after the boot logo disappears. Thank you.

HP Envy 15 4K@60Hz video output?
Hello,
I am thinking about purchase of this Envy 15 notebook. It has great specs for my needs, but I need to connect it to 4K display with 60Hz refresh rate. HDMI is present only at version 1.4, so it cannot be used. DisplayPort is unfortunately not present at all, my last hope is USB-C port. Can it produce 4K@60Hz video output with some adapter like Club3D or not?

Omen laptop screen pinked out
I have an Omen laptop. For the most part, it is working great. Periodically however, after using the laptop for an extended period of time, the video changes and gets a pink hue to it. I have a Nvidia GeForce 1070 video card in the laptop. In the Nvidia Control Panel the video is set to have other applications control the video. When the video gets the pink hue, if I switch to use the Nvidia settings, the pink hue goes away to some extent. The video is much better but not perfect. The video is much better when I allow other applications to control the video and there is no pink hue. Is there any way to fix this problem? Is it a problem with the video card? I keep my Nvidia driver updated to the latest version. The laptop is pretty new. If anyone has any ideas on what to do, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

Screen goes blank and recovers.
The screen freezes and goes blank. Then restarts. HP website says there are no graphics card updates (which I cannot believe). Have tried to download the new version Nvidia and Intel drivers direct from there websites, but they won't install due to being not signed by HP

is x360 pavilion good for gaming?
Hi.., i am planning to get a " x360 ba073tx i5 2gb 940mx gddr5" notebook as i am having a replacement from au620tx which was having a flickering issue. I got replaced two times with the same product and the second product was also having the same issue.After contacting the technical team they agreed for the second DOA and also informed me to change the model next time.
So, now i am lookung for x360 touch. will it be suitable for gaming?? i came to know that its battery is too poor and all other qualities are excellent .:-)

black screen problem

Comments: I hear and see the fan is running. I have hooked up external monitor and it is also a black screen. I have completed several hard resets but no results.

My TOSHIBA LAPTOP is unable to pair with my HP w 1907 monitor!
Blank screen with exception the lower command center is viewable but not functional!
When booting up Toshiba, HP MONITOR momentarily flashes FULL SCREEN and then revert's to lower command dock!

Battery problem
Hi,I resolved my slow pc problem by reinstalling windows 10,but now I have battery problem.When I set it to charge,it only goes up do 99 percent and stays like that even after and hour,and it always says 17 minutes remaining.Even though its at 99 percent the led next to charger is red instead of white.Help?

Star wars theme disappeared from my Star wars laptop
