Hi,
I was using my HP Pavilion laptop as usual, and suddenly the screen brightness splitted it my screen in two… being the right hand side brighter than de left hand side of the screen.
Is divided in two halves… right side brighter than the left side… I can see the image of the desktop, or whatever I am watching… its just a brightness issue... Is there something I can do about it ? or is my screen damaged ?

I bought an omen laptop a month ago and it has developed a white dot on the screen which is not going away.
As my laptop is within warranty, so what i am asking is can my the laptop screen get replaced within warranty.
I have a 3 year warranty also i paid a hefty amount of money as it is an omen laptop.
I recently bought an HP pen for my HP Envy x360 15-aq173cl on the recommendation of an HP Sales Agent. When I received the Pen it did not work. I went to return it just to be told that it is compatible and should work. I have contacted Tech support twice each saying it is not compatible. I have downloaded and installed the control app to no avail. Is it compatible or not and if so how do I make it work.

My HP Omen laptop screen has suddenly aquired a blue tint. It's a hardware problem - I can sometimes make it going away by lightly pressing on the bottom of the screen frame. The symptoims re-emerge intermittently. Is there a way that I can get the screen replaced?
I am trying since days but I am all failed in getting percentage sign of battery of my pavilion 15 A6 5400K, help me out ASAP that I could be all able to get know how much of my battery is drained and how much is remaining.

I was told by an HP Rep that the Spectre doesn't work well with docking stations because they don't' match up with the laptops required power supply, but the HP USB-C Travel Dock appears to be an unpowered connection system, so I was wondering if it would work OK to simplify my cabling issues, while using the laptop's normal power adaptor to provide charging power to the laptop.
First off, this issue only happens when I'm playing games on the computer (Ex. Rainbow Six Siege or PUBG). If I'm simply watching YouTube or browsing the internet the problem never occurs. Alright, so I've had the computer for around 2 years and this issue just started happening a few months ago. Mid game the screen will go dark and the power indicator will turn off, but when I turn it back on the apps are still running and open. I have no idea what would cause this or what fixes would be. Physically I cannot see anything wrong with the laptop except for at the top right by the fan air intake there's a small bit of separation between that and the top left of the keyboard. Has this ever happened and does anybody know any solutions? Any help is much appreciated!
I want to use an external monitor with my laptop - ie. with the laptop lid closed (actually, with separate mouse and keyboard, so the laptop can be hidden away).
I've adjusted every setting I can find relating to what happens when the lid is closed - eg. settings for hibernation, sleep, time until hibernation, etc... but the external screen still shuts down whenevr the lid is closed.
Any solutions gratefully received!

I purchased an HP Pavilion x360 - 15-br018na yesterday morning, and had it delivered yesterday evening, but it appears the touchscreen is not working!
One lower line of the screen responds to touch, and one middle line of the screen also. Is this a hardware issue? I have tried the various troubleshooting suggestions on the HP website, nothing has worked!
When I ran the startup diagnostics tests (where you fill in the squares with your finger), again it is only showing that the screen is registering touch on one bottom line, and one middle line.
I was going to try and return the laptop to the store it was purchased, but they don't have any more of these in stock, and I really like this laptop!

I have HP Notebook G1 241, I have been using cyberlink youcam software 5 but, now it has stopped to work. I can use windows camera software for taking photos but not the youcam software. How to fix the problem. I have downloaded and installed the software many times. At this time I have installed cyberlink Youcam 7 but unable to capture pictures. I have already tried many tricks like selecting capture device , restart etc. The error message is like this -
"Youcam cannot connect to your webcam( HP Truevision HD), Try selecting another capture device within settings, or close any application that may be using this webcam and then restart Youcam"

Ever since I bought my Specter I've been having problems. My computer is constantly rebooting due to "blue screens" (averaging once every hour). The computer is also having hardware issues in the form of the right speakers not working. However, sound will come out fine using external speakers. I sent the computer back to HP a few months ago for the same reason. It was fixed for a few weeks and the issue came back. Was told by customer service that the issue was the motherboard. The third issue is that the screen flickers and goes black on occasion. A computer six months old is not supposed to have this issues. I have been reading some blogs pointing out at serious quality control issues at HP. Please help since the computer is still under warranty. What are my options? Can I replace for a new computer? Maybe get another model since the bad reputation of the Specter line? Thanks.

Unfortunately the touchscreen of my lovely HP Pavilion x2 - 10-k000ne broke. Thanks God, the display and the keyboard are still working but obviously I'm limited to use only the keyboard on my tablet pc.
My questions to you are the following:
Can I purchase and order only the touchscreen digitizer from you HP ?
And, If yes then where can purchase it from ?

The display is black, as though there is no power to it. An external monitor works fine. I replaced the display, but that did not work. Any other thoughts? Thank you.
AOA,2 day before i was watching movie on my hp probbook450g2 ,suddenly a transparent rectangle appeared.sometimes rectangle is still but sometimes it starts to flicker.i restarted my laptop,updated my bios drivers but the problem persists.can u help me with that please?
