Hello! I have a HP Star Wars Edition Notebook and i spilled beer over the keyboard and my keyboard is not working properly any more.  For example, the W key and Left Arrow doesn't work togheter when i pres them. They work when i pres just one of them, but when i press both my laptop detect just the W key.  What can i do to fix that? 

 

And another question: How can i remove the keys? I want to clean under the keys and i'm afraid if i remove a key, i can not put back anymore. My laptop have red leds under the keyboard.

When watching any videos, anything that is brightly coloured will have yellow or white fuzzy colour over it almost like it is over exposed- anyone know a fix?

On the EliteBook Folio G1 we encounter severe problems while working in Outlook. The window does not refresh, or gets blank or behaves weird.

 

Display Driver is Intel HD Graphics 515

Date 11.11.2016

Version 21.20.16.4550

 

This happens on all three notebooks we have.

My uncle bought my laptop just this June, I haven't used it that much but the screen suddenly freezes, last time when I was watching a video it just suddenly froze and became unresponsive. This happened three times already. Can somebody please help me.

The two USB-C ports on my new ENVY 13 don't seem to work with my two display adapters, one of them is a Targus ACA932 USB-C to DisplayPort and the other is a Trust USB-C Multiport Adapter (with HDMI). Both the manual and the product specifications states that the laptop's USB-C ports supports DP 1.2 (DisplayPort 1.2 I assume), but none of them works with my external monitor. I'm I missing drivers, can't find any regarding ports, or does this laptop simply not support external displays, which I think is a big drawback?

My HP Notebook recently has had what I believe to be Graphics Card issues. When using the internet, particularly more exertive sites such as Youtube, I find that weird errors begin to appear, including lines across the screen, and most commonly small dots scattered around, moving about. This is particularly obvious in select games where the graphics seem to drag themselves across the screen. 

 

Was wondering if anybody had any information or suggestions on this? I updated my drviers to try and fix this, but it appears there is no change. The monitor is fine, and so it leads me to believe there is an issue with the graphics card. Thanks in advance

Hi, I have ssd on this one(came with it). So it used to turn on very fast. Now after turning on he computer, it goes to the log in screen where I chose to automatically log in, then loads for a while and turn into black screen with mouse cursor only. It would go back to normal after leave it for a few minutes. I tried to do hard reset and updates and it did not solve the problem.

I think I accidentally uninstalled an integrated webcam from my pc.   I now can not have video skype calls.   Would pls someone help me how I can re-install the device.   I previously had a problem of not sending my video to people I was video calling while I could see them in my pc, so I try to do something about it when the accident happened.   Thank you in advance for your help.

i use my laptop connected to a 1080p display and suddanly it disconnected and it couldint reconnect i checked the display settings and it said YOUR PC CANT PROJECT TO ANOTHER SCREEN and made my laptop screen be stuck on 1920 x 1080 so everything is way smaller because my apps think my screen is way bigger than what it really is what do i do

No recent change have been made.  Speed test revealed that my wifi provider was supplying an adequate signal. Problem exists on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 11, and Microsoft Edge.

Hi all

 

Just bought an HP bs043cl laptop at Costco.  It was only $400; a real bargain in my opinion!

 

 

1900 x 600 maens it isn't FHD (full HD), but that's OK as I would like to connect it to a monitor via HDMI (theren't any other display ports).

 

Specs:

 

• i5 7200u
• Intel Integrated 620 Graphics
• 17.3"
• 1900 x 600

 

It must be a customized edition because I cant find much information about it online and I 'm wondering what the MAXIMUM HDMI output is?

MY HP ELITEBOOK REVOLVE 810 G2 TOUCH PAD IS NOT WORKING. THE ORANGE LIGHT IS ON AND THIS MAKES THE TOUCH PAD NOT WORK. I HAVE TRIED FN AND SPACE TOGETHER AND THE DOUBLE TAP BUT THIS DOES NOT WORK.

I recently had to replace the entire screen assembly, since backlight of my laptop stopped working all of a sudden.

After screen replacement, image and touch work fine, but if I flip the laptop in any direction the screen does not rotate and the keyboard also stills enabled.

I was first using Windows 8.1, which is the native OS for this model. I tried to do the factory restore, which did not either. After that, I upgraded to Windows 10, and the issue stills.

I tried to reinstall drivers, use different drivers... a lot of solutions suggested on other threads on this forum, but nothing solved the issue.

How do I know if this is a software or hardware issue? Under device manager, the driver installed is for HID Sensor Collection V2.

Where is the sensor located? On the motherboard or on the screen?

So... Just received the laptop today, custom order with upgraded RAM/CPU/SSD.

 

The pen doesn't work with the laptop. No pen does.

 

I verified the pen works on a local Best Buy display model on my way home. The floor model pen nor my pen work on my laptop.

 

I checked Device Manager and it appears as though I'm missing a driver the BB version has.

I can't find this driver anywhere. I feel like the pen would work if HP would just offer the drive up on their website. I have pen control and windows ink, but no ability to actually use the pen. Even scouring the internet utilize the Hardware ID all I seem to find it some basic Intel driver, of which seem to come from a sketchy website. 

 

 

Any ideas?

It started occuring after i installed a new update and now it always occurs whenever I turn on my computer and log in, its just a blank screen displaying my arrow but the background is a black screen for 10 mins

WHEN I'M TRYING TO LOGON WINDOWS 7, I HAVE BLACK SCREEN AND I MUST SHUT COMPUTER DOWN.

SAFE MODE WORKIN WELL, WHEN I UNINSTALLED THE VGA DRIVER (ATI) THE WINDOWS 7 WORKING NORMAL WITH STANDARD VGA.
