I just updated my Synapstics touchpad driver to 19.3.31.31 and now I cannot find how to turn off tapping? I want to avoid rolling back to previous driver if I can. Can somebody please help?
"Power supply button locked" I release the release procedure as indicated by the manual appears the unlock message but the OSD menu does not give it to me, and the monitor no longer shuts off from the ignition button after it goes into standby

I have an HP Elitebook 8560w with NVIDIA Quadro 2000M video card. I would like to use 3 monitors.
1. the laptop's own monitor
2. via display port
3. via USB (delock 61787 USB display adapter)
The problem is that it allows only 2 monitors. If I shut down the laptop monitor, the USB monitor adapter works but as soon as I turn it on, the monitor on USB shuts down.
If laptop monitor is on, windows can see the 3rd monitor, it is just blank. What is also interesting is that WIN10 recognises the USB adapter as a videocard.
Any idea how to solve this issue?

After entering my pin to log in, my screen goes black, with only the mouse visible, rather than opening up my home screen.
My son's laptop suddenly no longer displays. I have tried all of the troubleshooting tips through the HP wizard help thing. I am now running the video through an HDMI cable and into another monitor. This laptop is otherwise functioning totally fine. This workaround is when he's stationary, but doesn't help when he needs to be mobile with the machine. Is there anything else I can check besides drivers? I'm happy to take it apart if there's a known issue with wiring or switches.
When going to pictures to import the videos it says there are no devices connected to upload. I have the SD card inserted in my computer and nothing is happening.
my notebook is become very slow. So I uninstalled all unnecessary programs. But it doesn't work. I want to install windows 8.1. But I can't install for slow performance. PLEASE GIVE ME A SOLUTION.

Hello all I jst purchased this used Spectre 13 4103dx and reinstalled the latest Win 10 including all updates. Everything seems to be working as the laptop should.
Except the screen will ot rotate when I fold it over to the TABLET mode?
In Display seetings the the "ROTATION LOCK" is on BUT GREYED OUT. So it cannot be changed!
I have read a number of internet articles that hve indicated this problem due to WIN 10 Updates and or the BIOS/
My Bios is F.43, 9/28/2016.
My Win build is 10.0.15063 Build 15063
Win 10 home
Any one have a current solution for this issue?

I have the same problem with the screen. It takes 5 mins for it to load after logging in.I noticed this problem after trying to update my laptop. Are you saying I should wait until HP brings out another update or something? And how long would it take for this issue to be resolved?
Seems that this issue is much wider than Spectres, though this is the machine I am also having the problem on.

The exact same thing just happened to me. HP Spectre 360 running windows 10, brand new. Acer H277HU monitor. Yesterday I hooked up a USB C cable and it worked perfectly: Video, the USB-A hub in the back of the monitor, and it charged my laptop. I did get an annoying message from HP popup, saying the "recommend using an HP charger" but aside from that it worked fine.
This morning, neither laptop nor monitor recognize the connection. The monitor works with a macbook via DP. I am not interested in alternate adapters, connections. I bought this laptop for one, easy connection, and if I can't fix this... I'll return it while I still can.

My touch screen will spazz out and click a bunch of stuff and I lose control from my mouse and have to turn my computer off. Help me.
After first Windows 10 update my new Envy laptop screen went black displaying only the cursor. After waiting a long time the start up screen returned. But when I shut down & then turn back on the same problem occurs. I have heard this called the 'Black screen of Death' on the internet. In my Operating System answer above I have Windows 10 Home version. I do not know what bit it is. Please email me a solution. Request your help. After windows 10 update, screen becomes blank after login for about 10 minutes, then it starts working.
Microsoft support created new admin user & deleted old one and screen started displaying properly. But photo app, windows store and some other things went missing.
Restored computer to factory using recovery disks. Created restore point with all softwares installed and working well. HP updated wireless driver (probably) and then the windows problem started again. I dont know if windows also updated on its own.
Another issue is with restore point created. When new software is added, it says creating restore point but does now show it later when we want to recover.
Would be grateful for your help.

My touchscreen is not working anymore.
I followed all steps in the "HP guided solution", but it didn't fix my problem.
Although, one thing has managed to fix it, and my touchscreen worked once again.
It was by downloading the driver from HP's website (file name sp63116).
Unfortunatly, after shutting down the computer it stopped working again, and now I can't even launch the driver and install it again.
When I'm trying to install the driver again, the install wizard is launching, but after a few seconds it just shut down and nothing happens. (I've tryed to download again, same result).
Any suggestions how to fix it (usuing Windows 10 x64)?
