Screen flicker and black screen during games
Hello everyone!
2 or 3 months ago I bought a HP-Pavilion Notebook 15-au001nq. I installed drivers and everything was ok until I tried to play some games.
The problem is that sometimes the image starts flickering out of nowhere, even if I am watching a movie or browsing the internet. In addition, when I try to play a game like Witcher 3 or Tera ( even at low graphics ) the image turns to black after some minutes of playing. This happens everytime after 30m - 1h of gaming. I ussualy restart the laptop and then everything works fine until I probably hit the same problem. I should mention that before the black screen appears, it starts to flicker a bit, even if I am not moving or doing something special in that game. I tryed to press keys like Ctrl+Alt+Del or Alt +F4 or Alt+Tab but the screen is still black. I have to say that the game is still running during the black screen and I can use some spells and thing ( I can hear them ) but I do not see.
Can you please help me to solve the problem? I will be here to provide you further information about my problem! Should I return the product?

I have a Hp Pavilion Touchsmart that i recntly dropped. The screen is showing white but when i preess it at the botom it shows perfectly and the touch is working too. Do i need to buy a new LCD or This one that i have can be fixed?

Limited Max Resolution (1280 x 720) on HP ZR2740w Monitor
Problem: Laptop rebooted and HP ZR2740w monitor no longer recognized high resolution option. Max resolution now 1280 x 720!
Have been using monitor off docking station on high resolution for years with no problem, have Windows XP 64-bit OS.
Reloaded monitor drivers from original CD that came with monitor without success. Downloaded and installed drivers from Internet, still does not work properly.
Second monitor (Dell P2210) works fine.
Swapped cables on NEW docking station (making sure problem not in docking station) and problem remains.
I originally was using a HDMI cable that went dead on the monitor after reboot; (cable still works fine on other monitors just not the HP), and installed an DVI cable which only works now at 1280 x 720.
The other DVI cable on a Dell P2210 monitor is working at 1680x 1050 no problem.
How do I correct the low resolution problem with the HP ZR2740w monitor? This is the second monitor in my organization to have this problem.

Laptop not connecting to DisplayPort attached monitors when awoken from sleep while attached to dock
The Setup:
I have a few users in my office setup with three HP Monitors (EliteDisplay E222) in addition to their laptop. The laptop is placed in the dock (HP 2013 Ultraslim Docking Station) and closed in a tray under the desk while the user is at their workstation. The two left monitors are connected via Display Port, the right monitor is connected via VGA.
The issue:
If the laptop is closed and in sleep mode when connected to the docking station, when the power on the docking station is pressed it does not reconnect to the monitors. The right monitor (VGA connection) goes black with the mouse visible, but that is it. The two left monitors (DP connection) do not change at all from before the laptop is docked.
Work-arounds:
After the laptop is connected in sleep mode and the power button on the dock is hit, you can open to lid ot the laptop, then close it to get all of the monitors to work. You can also connect the laptop while the lid is open (so it never enters sleep mode), then close the lid and it will reconnect just fine. The issue only heppens when the laptop is connected to the dock while in sleep mode.
Troubleshooting attempted:
- All monitors' default input is set appropriately
- Auto Switch Input set to off
- DP Hot Plug Detection set to Always active on Monitors
- Intel chipset updated
- Intel graphics driver updated
How can I get the laptop to auto-output to the monitors correctly when the laptop is placed in the dock while in sleep mode and then turned on using the dock's power button?

Replacement Key for Spectre x360 Convertible - Bronze
A year ago I bought the Spectre x360 Convertible in the cool bronze with rose-gold trim. Looks great but unfortunately some of the keys are peeling and I need replacements. Can only find black or silver on websites but need the bronze color to match my computer. Any suggestions on where to find would be most welcome. thank you!!

Trying to fix gaming issue
I enjoy hidden object games but have had an issue lately with while playing that my screen goes back to the desktop screen on its own. I am continually clicking back into the game, so with limited knowledge, I am trying to fix the problem. I have also noticed that while surfing the net, I sometimes see a small box flash just for a split second, but I can't see what it is. I have started the steps on trying to fix this issue, and I was attempting to update my drivers, but I can't get the model # of my laptop. There are no stickers anywhere on the bottom, top, keyboard, or screen, and the only compartment other than the cd/dvd is where the battery is kept, and there's nothing there either. I can't even find out which drivers to update on the HP Support site, because I can't provide the information needed to make that determination. How can I obtain my model number?

2 days ago my windows operating system updated as I shut it down. I've gone to turn it on and the power light comes on but I have a blank screen.
I've attached a HDMI cable along with many others to get the laptop on an external monitor and it is not picking it up. The keyboard is non responsive suggesting I'm not getting to the log on stage of the start up.
I'm a bit stuck because I can't see what's going on behind the blank screen if anything, I've done a reset which didn't work either.
All suggestions welcome

HP 2000 Notebook - black line through screen
There is a single horizontal black line in the middle of my computer screen. The laptop has not been dropped or damaged. I have had it for 3 years so, of course, the warranty has expired. What are all of the possible fixes that I can try before resorting to maintenance that I have to pay for, unless that is the only option? The computer itself is operating fine but the line is a nuisance and I would like to fix it before it becomes even worse. Thank you for the help!

Compatible stylus? Firmware/what do I need to download?
I've been seeing that some ppl with the same (or similar.. not sure) laptop cannot get their stylus to work. I see on amazon that the supposed compatible stylus has horrible reviews all saying that it's not compatible with the x360.
Can someone tell me which stylus is truly compatible with my laptop and what firmware i need to update/download? I'm not super tech savy and i dont even know what a 'firmware' is lol... but if you can direct me to the exact link i will download it and i can follow the instructions given haha ^_^

Horizantal balck line on laptop screen
I have got a laptop 3 years back (HP Core i3 mod3l windows 8.1 64bit)

Black Spot in left corner of Laptop screen
Alright, so basically, there is a growing black spot in the right corner of my laptop. I think there might be a crack or something, and that monitor liquid is coming through that crack. At first, I thought it was a big patch of dead pixels, but after reaserching a lot, I learned that it is more than likely monitor liquid. In the beginning, the black spot was very small, and hardly covered anything. However, now, it has covered up a moderate amount of my right corner, and has even covered up the "Am/Pm" part of the time.
I still have 8 months of warranty left on my laptop from when I bought it, so I'd like to know if there's a way for me to get this fixed.

hdmi port does not work anymore after windows update
The hdmi port on my laptop doesn't work anymore after a windows 10 update. And it is no longer vissible in de menu playback devices, not even when I choose 'view non-connected devices'. I checked and all my software is up to date. Is someone familiar with this problem?
