Laptop screen flickering when moving lid. Product Number: N5R47UA#ABA
I have a HP laptop.
When I open it so I actually work with it, it flickers, turns complete white or black.
When pressing at the bottom of the screen, or when pressing the bezel at the bottom the screen is OK sometimes.
What could be the issue, how can i fix it? Is it software or hardware issue?

My notebook (HP ENVY) computer had stopped displaying an image on the screen. I connected an HDMI cord because it appeared to still be running. I was able to see what was on my computer and went through the many HP troubleshooting recommednations. I was attemting to access the BIOS by holding down the windows key and the letter. But now I'm getting nothing on the screen and nothing through the HDMI, just the caps lock blinking in what I'm reading as a 2 blink sequnce, from have read indicating an issue with the BIOS. I can't figure out what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

Can laptop case be replaced
My laptop broke on the bottom, upper left hand corner. The computer works fine and I love it, but the case needs to be replaced. Is that possible and if so does anyone know approx. how much it would cost and where I could get it done? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Laptop innovation
HP should make an 18 inch laptop by sticking an 18 inch screen into a current 17 inch laptop body.
I want laptops to increase in screen size; never mind dumb coporate boardroom tech issues such as weight or battery life which we all know Steve Jobs dealt with while running Apple.
HP should do this for Envy and Spectre lines and change the game for mobile computer industry.
Also, they should do something unique and build a 21:9 aspect ratio laptop that has like a 20 inch screen.
I like to have my laptop as a desktop replacement and want something bigger in terms of screen size.

Can't disable touch pad
I have a brand new laptop and my cursor is out of control, so I want to disable the touch pad. Every piece of online advice I've seen calls for doing this through Windows. My version of Windows 10 does not have all the items shown on the screen shots displayed in the instructions, so I do not seem to have an option to disable the touch pad when the mouse is plugged in. I also don't see the touch pad manufacturer listed anywhere when I try to make adjustments to it.

Volume button gets stuck at 100& and my keyboard stops working as a result

I own a splitx2 notebook and for a while now I have had this recurring issue where the volume button gets stuck at 100% and as a result of this, my keyboard/clicker and even my touch screen stops working. Does any one know to solve this issue? Thank you.

2017 WIndow 10 Update - Touchscreen Not Working
I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 in 2015. No problems. Today an update for Windows 10 - which I have been putting off for over a month - got installed. NOW my touchscreen no longer works. I have read all the messages and tried all the fixes from this same query in 2012 to no avail. I bought an HP Touchscreen computer so I could have the touchscreen feature. Now in setting it says my computer is not a touchscreen computer. I have owned this TOUCHSCREEN computer for over two years. How can a Microsoft Update change the configuration of my HP computer? More importantly, HOW DO I FIX THIS? I don't know whether to scream or cry. HELP ME PLEASE

Broken touchpad connector (1.0 Pitch 4p FPC Connector) on motherboard of laptop 15R-203TX
Yesterday while opening my laptop for upgrading the RAM. I accidentally broke the touchpad connector ( 4P FPC Connector) secure latch. Due to which my synaptics touchpad 4pin ribbon is loose and now my touchpad doesn't work and show in device manager.

Synaptics Touchpad doesnot work after opening my HP laptop for dust cleaning and upgrading.
It's been a while almost 2 years and my laptop was not performing well with internal heat and dust accumulated inside the internals of motherboard and heat sink fan.
As I had no warranty for repair's as it's already expired on may 2016. I thought of taking a chance of cleaning my laptop on my own referring to some videos in youtube on how to open the internals of HP 15R laptop.
I took a try and succeed in opening and cleaning my laptop. While opening my laptop I accidentally snapped of the secure latch FPC connector of my synaptics touchpad 4pin ribbon connecting the touchpad connector (4p FPC Connector of laptop motherboard).
After putting all the screws in place when I started my laptop. I got to know that my touchpad doesnot work now neither its showing in device manager. I tried again opening my laptop and trying to reseat the 4pin ribbon cable of synaptics touchpad but with no success of getting my touchpad back to work again.

games lagging after 10 to 20 mins
hello and a nice evening to all
the issue i am experience is quite common but didnt quite found solution online so came to good ol experts in hope of resolving the issue
the problem is when i game on my laptop it handles almost every game greatly with its gpu gtx 965m
but problem is after 10 to 20 mins game starts to lag for about 15 secs then restore to original speed
then again after 10 mins the game lags again
my temps are around 60 to 65 degrees Celsius which are normal temps for a gaming laptop
my all drivers are up to date and note is cooled by a cooling pad
so whats the issue here
any suggestions or solution would be appreciated

Screen Flickering
I purchased my laptop from India. On the very next day after purchase, I had to replace my laptop, as defect in keyboard. Even the new laptop's performance was not as expected. I visited the service centre in and twice and mother board was replaced two times. Even after mother board replacing, I faced different problems day by day. I moved to Canada. I was contacted online HP support for Canada and I was told to contact HP support for India. I contacted them and they told me to contact someone from Canada. What is this?
Really, I am fed up of HP. I am not allowing my friends to buy HP any more. Previously, I used Toshiba and Dell laptops,. Those were much lower than this laptop in configuration. But performance of those laptops was 100 times better than this garbage and I never visited service centre for them.

HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13 monitor driver
What driver should I be using for HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13 monitor? Device Monitor says generic PNP monitor, this is a lap top so I am assuming that it has a specific monitor/touch screen. May expalin why all the flashing, vertical bars, freeze ups and blank screens for 20 to 30 minutes at start up or waking. Anybody have a real solution here as I have tried many "solved" procedure and still have the problem. Many thanks
