was given an hp active stylus pn:761392-001 as a gift for use on my laptop in drawing apps, in hopes for more accuracy, but it seems to be incompatible. after lots of searching, I still can't find one that is.. Is there ANY active pen or stylus i can use with this machine? please tell me there is another option!!!!!

HP Active pen doesn't work with HP spectre 360
I just bought an HP Active Pen. I followed the getting started instruction. I see it in my bluetooth devices list as "connected". However, when I tap (supposed to be equivelent to a mouse click), nothing happens. When I Draw (in one note and ms paint), nothing happens. When I hit "A" button, it brings up one note like it should so there is some connection.
Any thoughts?

Swapping how the key controls the function keys
I would like to know how to permanently swap the funcion keys (f1 to f12) to function normally vs having to hold down the <fn> key to use the function keys. I.e. when I hit <f2> in an application like excel, it would prompt the edit formula function instead of dimming my screen. I would rather be required to press the <fn> key when I wanted to adjust the way the laptop performs (i.e. brightness, screen layout, sound, etc...)

AMD Radeon R5 Graphics driver on Windows 7 and others
My Laptop originally had Windows 8 until I decided to install Windows 10 to it.
But It was kinda slow, and didn't like it.
Yesterday I installed Windows 7 but I forgot about the drivers so I searched far and beyond and found some of them.
But this is the main problem... I have no Graphics Card driver and the AMD webpage made me install something called "radeon-crimson-relive-17.4.4" among other things.
Well Can You Help Me Out?
Are there any other options besides getting back to Windows 8 or 10 or Vista?

Laptop screen stopped working after recent auto Windows 10 update
After auto Win 10 update on 18th June the laptop screen has stopped working. Looking at display properties I see the following message in relation to pnp generic monitor...
Device DISPLAY\CMN1733\4&e8339c3&0&UID265988 could not be migrated.
Is there a fix for this?

A sudden black blank on screen, A sound which similar to car engine and Laptop restart by itself

Good day to you!
I need your advice and solutions. After a recent AMD version update (on 19 June 2017) by clicking the AMD update pop-up message on my laptop screen, the issues as of below happened:
1. A sudden black blank on my laptop screen, and
2. A sound which similar to car engine sound, and
3. Laptop restart by itself.
However, there's no indication of virus infection after I used Microsoft Safety Scanner to further test. I very appreciate your help. Many thanks!

Can I attach 5 external monitors to a HP ProBook 650 G2? And if so what do I need to do this?
What model of monitors will work with this? What and how many connectors do I need? And how many and what cabling do I need? And software and/or drivers do I need? And each monitor will have to function with its own app.
If this is not doable. Is there a laptop/workstation that would support this that you can provide the specificaitons for?

Display problems
I have an HP 4740S which always boots up with a blank screen unless I take the following specific actions:
If i open the laptop and power on, the laptop boots up but there is no display whatsoever (no splash screen, no boot options, just a blank screen)
The computer will boot into Windows - I can access the machine via RDP. If I connect an external monitor, I can usually get a display.
If I power on the machine, then close the lid and wait about 20 seconds, then re-open the lid, I get the Select Boot Device screen. I can then select the hard drive (the only boot device available) and Windows will boot normally with a fully functional display.
I have downloaded and installed the Windows 7 Recovery Package from HP and ansured that all drivers are up to date.
This problem is totally repeatable and is definitely related to the lid position at boot time. If I Restart with the lid open, it boots back up with a blank screen. No mouse or keyboard activity will restore the display.

Cracked screen on OMEN
I've got what looks like a cracked screen in the upper right corner along with lots of horizontal & vertical lines covering 3/4's of the screen. Not sure why, it was working fine. ;( I've tried the various troubleshooting fixs, with no luck. Any ideas?

Chopping screen effect in video playback
Hello there.
I have been putting up to this fault but I'm now pretty tired of it.
When playing a Video from various movie playback programs like vlc, netflix and so on, there is a weird chopping screen effect occurring when there is movement in the shot.
When there is nothing moving on screen, it's totally fine, but when there is a scene with someone running or there is a car-chase scene, basically just anything making movement, then I get this annoying problem.
It seems that the culprit is my pc since I have tested this on several TV's with the same result.
Have anyone experienced this before?

Touch screen not working - only Generic PnP Monitor showing
I have followed all the Troubleshooting links.
Nothing works - my touchscreen has disappeared.

Black Mark on Screen
At first there was a small black patch on my laptop now it's grown and it's reaching across the whole screen. I did some research and could it be something with the LCD or dead pixels? With anyone has any advice on how to fix pleaseee help.

System updated, now the screen is always black
Laptop did an update a few months ago and since then the screen is dark. Not just black, dark. No backlight either.
Boots fine into safe-mode.
If I delete the display driver, it will boot reguarly, but only until it reconnects and re-downloads the driver automatically.
The update has basically bricked my computer. Help?

hola que tal hace poco me compraron una laptop en USA y la estoy usando hace poco tambien esta nueva, pues sucede que ahora que la uso la maquina por ratos parpadea y se pone negra la pantalla y hay ocaciones en donde la pantalla de pone negra luego de parpadear por un tiempo estimado de 2 minutos y luego vuelve... pero solo la pantalla por que el equipo sigue funcionando normalmente quisiera saber que esta pasando con mi laptop.
